Alu placed a hand upon Sylvir's shoulder, his eyes fixed in a vicious glare at the Incultian woman. "Typical action for an Incul Aution." His voice almost dripped with venom, the distrust for Incul Autio and all from there clear in his words. His gaze fell upon her missing arm and softened. "Yet, it is not my place to judge, it is the will of the Machine Spirit that judges people, and it has judged you harshly."

Turning to address Carlisle she spoke nicely to him, “No no, it’s fine…please don’t.” Her tone changed suddenly as she focused on Geoff. “If you want me to heal fine but other than that the mess is your business!” Turning on her heels she stormed out, you could almost see the hatred radiating off of her. Most wouldn’t mess with Serenus, but she hated to physical fight, hand to hand or power against power. Al she had was her anger to fight back with.

Turning around the corner she ended into a wall. Breathing she leaned up against the wall and stared at the floor. That man made her rage, not like her husband could but still it was borderline close to. “Oh Eysu I still wish you here her to guide me.” Sighing she ran her finger over the top of her head stopping where her bun was in place. Removing the pin that kept her hair up so tightly, she let it fall down. It flowed like a golden waterfall until it had no more. It reached down past her shoulders to the middle of her back. A sigh of relief came over her and she slide down the wall until she was sitting. It was good to be away from everyone, everything.

After a short break she didn’t bother to put her hair back in. It relieved her from tension to left it lose and she would need it for Geoff again. Making her way back to the dining hall she saw Geoff speaking to Carlisle. Walking up to them she took another deep breath before confronting them. “Is everything in order now?” She smiled only to Carlisle, Geoff didn’t deserve that pleasure.

Belfiar came back to the table after a long absence, Serenus smiled to him as well and listened to his words. “Gate the windows lock the doors?” She chuckled slightly, “Set up a night watch?”

"Heh... Typical...." she looked at Alu with a smirk. "That you think I really care about the place I'm from." she chuckled, shivering a bit from Sylvir's cold grip. "And look at you....This wouldn't have happened if you didn't approach me as 'Short.'" She sneered. "In fact the one with the most common sense is your little friend. You could learn a thing or two from him." She smirked. "But your right Alu....It is a typical action isn't it? Well, I'm not doing it because of where I am from. I'm acting this way because of who I am. So I suggest Mr. White Knight and Boy wonder to leave me be." her eye narrowed at the two.

Sylvir let his hand off Aiden and collected himself. "I don't apologize for my actions, I merely tried to approach in a friendly manner by using humor. There was absolutely no need to attack me." He paused and looked down at the tiny girl with a look of disgust, "But if you choose to wallow in your sorrow, may you suffer well. I do not care what problems you have that made you so rude, but I will not stand for your unfavorable attitude without valid justification toward anyone if I witness it." He noticed a few students glaring toward the group and their little 'chat' and he let up his angry tone of voice to a more stern one, "Just be warned, tiny one" He smirked with a slight huff of a laugh.

Geoff didn't smile when Belfiar returned to the table, rather his face was the epitome of seriousness. It was an unusual sight, but the issue of the young student was very disconcerting. For him to react like that to a wave of homesickness...can't be anything else. It's waking up in him.

Geoff rested his forehead against clenched fists. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Bel take his seat again and half heard him speaking of the potential security issue. It was as good a time as any to bring up his concern, but just as he was about to speak he caught sight of Alu stirring up more trouble, and this time he wasn't alone. Two other students, the tall, silvery haired one and a girl who was missing an arm and an eye (At least these kids are easy to keep track of...haven't seen a bunch this...unique...in a long time.), had gotten involved as well.

Geoff let out a loud, irate growl. "Excuse me, looks like I've got business to attend to...again..."

Geoff stepped over behind the three squabbling students and took a deep breath before he spoke. "Giganto, Nutcase, Cyclops! Outside! NOW!" His voice boomed across the room. Any eyes that hadn't ventured to the three students certainly watched them now. Geoff cleared his throat as he led the students to the hall.

"You will stand and face the wall, all of you," he said, positioning them just right so he could see them from his seat at the professor's table. "If ANY of you so much as THINKS about moving from this spot, your little asses are gonna be on academic probation faster than you can say pointy-eared-finger-twiddling-sorceress! Now, if you'll excuse me, you've all just given me another issue to bring up to Headmaster Le'Minz."

Geoff re-entered the dining hall, turning back only once. "Like I said, move a muscle and you're in for hell!" With a huff he returned to the table.

"Sorry about all that," he said. "Anyway, I don't want to interrupt your little speech, Bel, but we've got a bit of an issue on our hands, specifically with..." he pointed to Alu, "...that young man over there." Geoff took another deep breath. "It seems that he's in a very dangerous and volatile state right now, and he's gonna need our help to get through it safely."

Aiden laughed at him then. "OOoo, A knight you are indeed!" she called at him. "Sounding all high and mighty. None of you know who I am! I'm not wallowed in some sort of sorrow. If anything, I'm just a girl who wants to keep to herself. Otherwise, those who mess with me are going to be hurt just like you were." she grinned, as she turned away from the two.

Their all the same.... she thought to herself. Always pretending they know me, and understand.

Geoff's words caused him to bite his tongue from saying anything more to Aiden. How funny, she actually thinks that feeble hit hurt? Her ignorance is amusing. But, why would a person join an academy if they wish only to be left alone? Such flawed logic. he thought as they walked to the wall where Geoff lead them. He was glaring at her with a smirk of entertainment on his face as they walked and were placed. His expression turned flat as he looked straight ahead of him, standing straight, awaiting Geoff's return.
Something about her bothers me, though. Her personality, the way she carries herself..Harmless, perhaps, but something must be troubling her deeply to cause such anger. He stopped in his thoughts to glance at her and notice the look on her face, Too chaotic. She cannot be trusted.
Sylvir's attention was grabbed by the blood on the floor in the hall where they were placed, he knew it was Alu's and gave him a funny look, holding back a slight laugh.

Meyer tried to ignore all the tension in the air, focusing on his divine meal but once reaching a boiling point he couldn't help peaking up to gaze at the events that went on. For example when Geoff requested Senrus' assistance in the sometimes vulgar way he does. Gales watched her leave and sighed softly, she barely caught a break from whatever was thrown her way.

He then watched how Geoff handled the students he were introduced to, Alu and Sylvir, then a mysterious young woman with but one arm and eye. He thought he could sense much fury and stress build up inside her.
Poor Girl, maybe she'll calm down towards the term ending. Thought the sickly man.
Once they were sent outside the hall, Meyer just about finished his meal and nodded to Belfair's thought. As Meyer was about to suggest an idea, his first word was cut off when he took instant notice to the elven venus return, golden locks down. Ever since she had joined Aura, Gales never saw her without her hair up, much like his own, it was a rare and gorgeous sight.
He shook his head once and placed his hand behind his neck, smiling weakly to Senrus' first suggestions.
"Well if it pleases you Belfair, I was planning to go for a evening stroll myself..." He started and tapped on the hilt of his rapier.
"I wouldn't mind keeping an eye out for troubling incidents of that degree."

Alu stood almost perfectly still as he faced the wall, his eyes drawn to the blood that stained the floor around him. He could see Sylvir repressing laughter out of the corner of his eye, but although he'd been able to laugh at the incident just a few moments before, seeing his own blood spilt upon the ground made Alu feel shameful. He was an Inculkatwa, he should have more control over his emotions than that. Worse still, he inconvenienced a professor not once, but twice in the same night.

Alu let out a long, heavy sigh and propped the hand he'd injured against the wall. "Adlu kaa," he said. "Good start to the term. At this rate I'll be removed by two weeks."

Alu dropped his hand down to his side and rested his brow where his hand was. Eyes closed, he took a deep breath and patiently awaited the professor's return.

Serenus' return to the dining hall left Geoff with a sinking feeling in his stomach. Her hair was down, an extreme rarity for her. It was something she'd do only when she needed to regain her focus, and for her to be doing it now... Aw crap...I must've really pissed her off this time.

This wasn't the first time Serenus had stormed off on Geoff, far from it. Yet, despite all the bickering between them, Geoff had only seen her become seriously angry at him three times. The first was back at the start of the academy when he'd been reading one of her books without permission. He walked about the courtyard with it and since he wasn't paying attention to where he was walking he tripped and dropped it into a puddle of thick mud, ruining it permanently. The second time was a few years later. Once again, he'd taken something from her without permission: a bottle of Elvish Red, one of his favorite wines, and spilt it across her desk when he tried to pour it. Still, he could tell that these were comparatively minor to this.

He'd never seen her like this before. On the outside she was calm, ignoring him as she often did, but he could almost feel the sheer fury blaze from her as though she were a solar flare trying to incinerate him. He'd done much worse than destroy a prized book or damage an expensive desk and carpet, he'd damaged her pride, and if there was one thing he and Serenus shared, it was pride. Geoff let out a sigh and pushed his plate aside. He didn't feel like eating, not anymore.

Geoff stood and took a slow, forceful breath. "If you'll all excuse me, I think I'm finished for the night," he said. His eyes darted to Serenus and for a moment their eyes locked, but her stare scorched into him. She wouldn't want to listen to him, wouldn't want to even think about speaking with him, but Geoff felt that he must at least try to set things right.

He walked towards the hall, stopping for a moment when he was behind Serenus, who was speaking with Meyer and Belfiar. He placed a hand on her shoulder and leaned down until his face was just slightly behind her. "Sorry to interrupt, but I need to talk with you when you're done," he said. "There's a couple...issues I need to address."

Not waiting for a reply, Geoff left the dining room and entered the hall where the three students waited for him. "Alright," he began, much calmer this time. "It's the first day, so I'll be leniant this time and let you off with a warning. Count yourselves lucky, I've only ever let two other students off the hook before. Now then..." He pointed to the girl and the taller of the young men. "...you two can go. Alu, I need you to stay here with me, we've got a mess to clean. Oh, and Giganto, I know you're friends with this guy but I don't want you helping in this. I've got things to talk about with Alu privately, and I'll leave him to you when I'm done."

Geoff motioned for Alu to follow him as he headed further down the hall to a T shaped intersection. There was a small door in front of them. Geoff gripped the handle and opened it. It was a small supply closet. "Grab a rag and a bucket," he said, doing the same before leading Alu back to the mess.

Feeling Alu's sadness Sylvir felt concerned for him, wondering how he could help. Then Geoff entered the room and gave his orders to him and Aiden, but asking Alu stayed behind. "Yes, Sir Michaels" He said calmly with a nod of his head, accepting his orders and walking out of the hall toward his room. As they walked out of the hall Sylvir stopped, "Excuse me", he said to Aiden to get her attention. He extended his left arm to shake her hand, "I apologize for earlier. I should have known better than to insult you like that, I was trying to be friendly and make a joke.", his pale gray eyes looking at her with sincerity. "May I ask your name?"

((Wow, everything's moving a little fast for me eek Oh well, best shot, what? whee ))

Having accepted Meyer's offer to take a little walk, Belfiar busied himself with looking for the recalcitrant students. Odd...I could have sworn I saw Geoff with them. That can't be good. Le'Minz took out another cigar and started to tuck it into the corner of his mouth when he realized he already had one. Lighting it, he began looking for the missing students and the missing professor.

He thought a moment, then raised one hand. He made several shapes in the air with his finger, and a small shimmering, like a splash of water in a pond marred the air. His familiar popped through it, still wearing its apron.

"Lead me to Geoff, please, Scribbles." Le'Minz said, smiling fondly at his little familiar. Scribbles scratched his head for a moment with the large ladle he held, then bustled off ahead of Le'Minz, squeaking aimlessly to himself. Waddling around a corner, Scribbles stopped suddenly, almost causing Le'Minz to step on him.

Le'Minz looked past Scribbles to see the young one-armed woman, the northern giant, and the Incultan standing taking a dressing-down from Geoff. Le'Minz adjusted the collar of his long coat and walked towards them. "What seems to be the trouble, Geoff?" he said, looking long and hard at each of the three in turn.

Belfiar stiffed slightly when his eyes met the young giants'. He narrowed his eyes and focused. Belfiar's eyes turned solid blue, then began to glow, a blue aura scintillating from the shut lids. With his Aura-enhanced vision, Belfiar examined the giant's body - the young lad's entire form was burning bright with nearly uncontrolled Aura!

Aiden looked down at his hand then back up at the tall man. "Aiden Daray....Don't bother with the formalities. " she shrugged looking toward the girls dorm rooms. "Well Mr. Shiney Knight I'm going to be obediant for now so I'm going to go to my room like I was ordered, so smell ya later." she waved. "And please, don't bother me anymore. I don't want to be compared to the likes of you or your little friend." she glared at him over her shoulder. "People judge just by looks, and I don't like they way you look." she smirked then looked forward.

Geoff turned towards Belfiar and recognized the brilliant blue of the headmaster's eyes. He was scanning the tall youth's aura, and from the look on Belfiar's face it was definitely a sight to see.

Geoff leaned close to Belfiar, tapping him on the shoulder. "Um, sorry to interrupt, Bel, but I've got to speak with you about this student," he said, motioning to Alu, who paused when Geoff motioned. "Alu, keep working on the mess."

"Yes, professor," Alu said, catching Belfiar's eyes briefly. He resumed his work, but much more slowly. Geoff noted the distant look in Alu's eyes. He was probably thinking about how he'd tell the headmaster about the stairs.

Geoff huffed and crossed his arms. "Just tell him, kid," he said.

Alu's eyes darted up, wide with shock. Clearly he didn't think he was ready to tell what happened, but now he was stuck. "I...I...um..." Alu stood and put the hand he'd hurt in front of his mouth, his eyes practically staring a hole into the floor.

"I...cracked the stairwell on the way in tonight," he finally said. "That was why my hand bled."

Alu started to continue but Geoff cut him off. "He told me that one of the foods we served was something from his homeland. Said it made him homesick and he overreacted." Geoff leaned in close to Belfiar and motioned for Alu to continue working. He continued in a hushed voice. "I need to speak with Serenus and Meyer about this too, but I think it's best I tell you first. I think the kid's aura is just starting to awaken."

Geoff glanced back at Alu. "From what he told me, all the signs fit. His emotions are going haywire and his physical capabilities went insane when he struck the stairwell. He actually broke small pieces from it when he hit it, but there weren't any injuries to his bones." He turned to face Belfiar once again. "I think we'd better keep a close eye on him, Serenus and Meyer especially. Their classes would probably help him keep control of the aura, and you know better than anyone how important that is in the early stages of manifestation."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Belfiar left with Meyer to gods knows where, most likely to find the students Geoff had been stalking. Sighing she held her hands behind her back watching the men leave. It was disconcerting to her for them to be gone; she didn’t someone to focus her mind off of her anger. No way for her thoughts to carry onto more pleasing views. “Thes tia jhori,” she cursed her own livelihood. The sun was falling it was almost time for her to retire to her chambers. Before she could carry on that idea; a hand touched her shoulder. It made her freeze and stand stiff.

It remind her of the Dark Elves when they would sneak into the village at night and take people. Serenus was one of them but her beloved Esyu saved her. It sparked so many fearful memories as they ran through her body. The voice that came with her hand changed her emotions from fear to anger. Geoff was touching her! Before she could turned around and responded he was gone. Her eyes darted back and forth to find him, but no luck. His words echoed in her head, There's a couple...issues I need to address/ Issues?! What issues?! He was the one who toyed with her most, than any one she had ever known.

The feast was over and everyone started to move to their rooms. First Serenus would have to find Geoff, but he never told her where or when. She was a prompt figure and not much was to be said about that. Her pace has quickened at she whizzed down the hallways heading to the library. Hopefully she may find Geoff there or could at least wait. Most of the time he could find her, might as well make it easy for him.
