More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Oh nothing really. Just figured you'd want a sky over your head instead of being here in this..room. Didn't want to see you freaking out in here.To be honest there is not much I know about you. So I thought I'd ask ya know." Theonis stated. He felt happier now they he had her full attention again. Maybe he was just spoiled like that or he really did love her a lot.

Gidget rested against Annie for a moment before being released, missing the feeling of comfort that comes with a hug. She nods to Annie inquiry.

"For years he attempted to try and interface a CPU with a human mind. More often then not they would end up complete invalids or vegetables. Returned home to their families completely ruined. The rest of the times they were never seen again. My guess is that he consumed them out of necessity."

"The scary thing is that he was really close to doing it Annie...and I actually thought about doing it." She holds herself again, her eyes showing a deep disturbance with what just came out of her mouth.

"But I couldn't do it. I couldn't take another girl's life just to restore my own."

Annie bit her lip and said finally, "The important thing is that you didn't agree to doing it."

Her fists were still clenched as she spoke her comforting words and Annie finally asked, "I didn't get the chance to ask, but did you agree to the experiment on Shane? And did he choose to undergo the experiment himself? Because if that idiot chose to experiment on himself, I swear I'm going to slap that man silly myself."

"Yes, it has only been a day. it's sweet that you care so much." She smiled at him and nodded somewhat. "You really are too kind, but I'm glad that we met. In just a few hours you have helped so many people."

"Ahh I'm not all that great." Theonis managed to say. He wasn't used to compliments.Those usually throw him off guard but it was on a whole different level now that she had done that.

"But I am not the only one that should be thanked. So should you. After all you were already helping those people and you found me a place to live. So thanks" He replied with a smile after he had recovered from her compliment.

Annie bit her lip and said finally, "The important thing is that you didn't agree to doing it."

Video files that I saw of the procedure leads me to believe that he was only conscious for a brief moment during the experiment, and even then he wasn't supposed to be."

Gidget rubs her left arm and looks toward the exit. "Can we go talk over dinner? I need to recharge my thermal generators, and I hate this place. Are you hungry?"

Gidget shakes her head. "What they did to Shane was complete cloak and dagger operations. Shane wouldn't have agreed to that sort of genetic tinkering, not back then at least. Video files that I saw of the procedure leads me to believe that he was only conscious for a brief moment during the experiment, and even then he wasn't supposed to be."

Gidget rubs her left arm and looks toward the exit. "Can we go talk over dinner? I need to recharge my thermal generators, and I hate this place. Are you hungry?"

"That's good," Annie said, smiling in relief. "I was worried he might have chosen the experiment himself like I chose to experiment on myself. And considering the fact the experiment was not perfect for me, it would have been stupid for him to sign up for the experiment."

She then nodded, about her idea of dinner, "I don't like this place much either. The bad aura here gives me a bit of a headache. Thankfully, I'm not paralyzed by negative auras anymore. I don't know how much of an appetite I have right now, though, to tell you the truth, but I can try to eat something. The last thing I ate was truck stop food about six hours ago."

Stretching, Annie began to lead the way, feeling better as she got further from where Shane was kept. But, she stopped before she got far and turned to Gidget, "I have a request... can I see him tomorrow as well? I want to understand what happened to him fully and I cann't do that unless I see him."

Liv giggled a bit after seeing it and hearing Trinity's comment.
"But I already have. You are taller than me, a little bit darker than me and you are handsome! Pretty is a better word for it though." She said with a playful wink. That was something she did not lie about. She really did think that way about Trinity.

Liv pointed her finger towards the shadow and shot a heart of light in its chest. She seemed happy but her smile slowly turned into a bit of a pout."You probably have a boyfriend though..."

Trinity, briefly turned to the shy girl she once was and blushed a little causing the shadow man go revert to Liv's shadow. Quickly she got a grip of herself,"Thanks, and no I don't have a boyfriend. I simply don't have the time to dedicate toward such a relationship." Which was very true she rarely had a day off even on holidays.

They arrive at the Residential Office, "Well here we are, I'm afraid I must depart, go on in and Amanda the secretary will give you forms to fill on preferences of living arrangements. Do you have any questions for me before I go?"

"One should never do charity work for a reward. Seeing their smiles in enough for me."She smiled at him again, not that she wasn't always smiling. She felt rather content, although it was strange to awaken in such a place. "Why did we come here?"

A blushing Trinity. Liv thought it was surprisingly cute. A definite plus.
"Awwww you should totally make time for it. It'll give you such a warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach" Liv said as she hugged herself with a blissful face. Before she got lost in her thoughts or rather....imagination she forced herself to ask another question. " Say if...something were to happen. Like a fight or accident. Who should I contact? Wouldn't be the first time boys have fought over me."

"You don't remember? You actually wanted to go here but I am not surprised that you don't remember. You did kinda black out. Maybe you were on auto-mode or something like that. I just followed you that's all."Theonis explained hoping she would accept it. He didn't want to reveal the fact that there was another personality within her.

Trinity watched as Liv pointed out how nice it would be. She could agree with her but she knew that unless they understood the nature of her job, they wouldn't be able to cope with not being able to see her as often. Besides the love life can get too clingy and the guy would only be in the way. On top of that, there are guys that feel they have to protect her and that rubbed her completely the wrong way, causing her to prove she could take care of herself. Along with that type, is usually paired with not being able to stand a woman who takes charge. Heck when she applied for the job she wanted be sure it wasn't because of any favors from Gidget. If she was going to lead security she would have to earn their respect and so she applied like anyone else.

Trinity listened to Liv's question, she had a stack of cards with her for such an occasion and handed one to Liv. It had a security number and a medical emergency number they were the generic numbers everyone used. These cards also come as part of the welcome package new metas were given with the application.

"If you need anything else let us know. Amanda will help you get started. I'll be sure to check up on you later to see how you're fitting in, and if possible introduce you to Gidget, the CEO of Vallhala... I have to go, I'll see you later Liv." With that she dropped through shadow quickly and quietly. If one blinked they'd be startled by her sudden absence.

She sends a text to Kodak [Sorry for delay nothing happened right?]. She continues to watch the group keeping her eyes focused of Alec.

"Bye bye Trin" She smiled and waved her goodbye. Well...so far so good. She thought as she went through the cards real quick. Gidget...Daedelus had interest in her. She might get to meet her. How nice of Trinity to do that for her. Oh she could just kiss her for that.
Liv continued along towards Amanda. She wondered how she would look.

Gidget opens her mouth to protest, her eyes displaying great discomfort with the idea of waking him up again. But then she comes to the realization that Annie might actually be able to bring Shane to his senses. If they really had a relationship, there might be a chance.

She closes her mouth and nods. "Alright...I'll grant you permanent access to his wing. If he starts reacting better to you I might also allow access to the cell."

Gidget moves int front of Annie and summons an elevator. It takes a few seconds then the door slides open. Gidget steps inside, then turns to face Annie. She grins impishly, "So were you Shane's first kiss?"

A few moments after Gidget and Annie's elevator leaves for the recreation and meals level of Valhalla, another elevator arrives at Shane's wing. The creature steps out of it and takes a deep breath, and small smile itching at the corner of it''s mouth upon feeling the creator. "This is the place. There are five doors leading to his room. There is a camera sitting above and behind each door. All we need to do is glitch those doors open and disable the cameras. Are you three ready?"

Annie turned bright red remembering Shane's embarrassment at being kissed on the cheek by her, as he called it "his first kiss." She remembered her shock at the fact that Shane had been so impressively poorly adapted to girls and flirting, she had found it endearing.

"Let's just say, Shane wasn't my first kiss and leave it at that," Annie said, casually, her blush leaving as suddenly as it came. Seeing Gidget's impish grin, Annie sighed and finally fessed up, "But, yeah... I was your brother's first kiss. It was a kiss on the cheek. Totally PG and innocent enough."

"Anyhow, thank-you for granting me access to his wing," Annie added. "I might go after getting a bite to eat, actually, if that is okay. I kind of left on bad terms with him..."

Gidget nods and says sadly, "That's fine. I hope you don't mind if I don't accompany you. I think it will be better if he talks to someone he doesn't despise."

She thinks back to the day that she awoke after dying. "Is this what is was like for Tansy?" she wondered. No, of course not, Tansy could still feel. Shane spoke to her, then came the mixed series of emotions: disbelief, unparalleled joy, ease. Then once he found out she was a soul trapped in a machine, something inside of him broke. She could see it in his eyes. He was never the same after that.

The elevator dings and Gidget starts to make her way toward the cafeteria. "I'm glad you escaped Annie. It couldn't have been easy. Hell is was difficult for Trinity and I to rescue a few people from a holding facility. Where did they have you, the main HQ?"
