I love how "She's The Man" is on tv.
hilarity. Shakespeare was a messed up fella. Liked dressing up girls as boys. MAYBE because he was so used to seeing boys dress up as girls so unsuccessfully??

(That's why Men had all the female parts Xeks, thus him seeing guys dress up as girls all the time. Though usually they were eunuchs, or younger guys.)

And thus fake kissing was invented.
That or homosexuality...either way I'm guessing people were judged.

Though it got me to thinking..you don't really see those parts acted out much do you?

Well thee might be like one or two or no kissing scenes. So I guess not that much.

Lol I dun tend to look at that just the whole, killing your uncle, sleeping with your mother, or like regicide thing takes up my attention in those plays

Distract them from the boy/girls with a ridiculously entertaining plot!

Well I'm sure at that time they didn't care that much as long as the plot was good

Plus it wasn't like they could see. Their theaters were torchlit!...and crowded.
