Kiko paced. "Really?" she asked. "It is my theory," replied Kori. Kiko groaned and sat on the bed. "You girls are really prone to danger," said Kori. Kiko nodded. "Then don't sit here, take a walk! Relax! My gosh, I knew girls were emotional, but not stupid!" At this, Kiko kicked Kori and the cat meowed quite loudly. He rubbed his rear end. "I apologize, but seriously, go and relax." Kiko nodded and stormed out of the room.

Kiko tried to calm down. She was so mad. She didn't know why, but she was. Perhaps it was because she was being flooded with memories. She rushed into the library and sat in a chair. She summoned a random book and tried to read, but it was almost impossible.

Nimia was getting just a bit angry herself. The smell and sight of the flowers were not enough to calm her. She was suddenly aware of the circlet on her head. She hadn't used her powers once since she'd gotten it. She left the garden and went out into the empty courtyard. She held out her hand, palm up, and a tiny little flame suddenly burst to life a tthe end of her finger. It didn't burn, it actually sort of tickled. She bounced it on her fingers, then let it roll down into her palm, where it grew. She laughed, she was having fun playing with the fire. She formed another in her other hand and proceeded to bounce them from hand to hand. She extinguished one and stared at the other. She threw it, trying to see if she could control where it went. It flew for a bit, but slowed. She started trying to get it to move, and it did. She laughed again. This was fun.
