"Well whatever the case, I'm sure we might find some sorts of answers at my village. Or probably, just a thought." He said as he shrugged. He looked at both of them, slightly tipsy from lack of sleep. "Well, I'm tired. I'm going to go sleep, you to can come wake me if something happens. You know where I'll be." He said before turning around and walking away. Once out of sight, he put a hand on the wall and another on his head, and used it to help guide him up to his room. He bumped into somebody at some point, but he payed no attention to it. He honestly didn't care what was happening right now, and was lucky that his wings were hidden.

"Thank you Alejandro. Rest well." as he walked away he disappeared she turned to Nova.
"Now what? Should I try that again or start with what I'm familiar with, with the choker on?"

"I have a few more things I would like you to try out. A brief course on how to use a basic element and see how good your control is. Normally the better you become at the basic tier you move on and repeat the process. Maybe you already are great with the basic since you can use Shadow effortlessly or maybe not. Either way we need to find out." Nova said and looked at her. Quickly he turned away. " You um...might want to get dressed first."

Trinity appreciated Nova's respect for privacy she got out and put on her under wear and her tunic. She decided to hold off on the rest of her clothes because it was mostly leather (which would only chafe her right now) armor and her trench cloak. She strolled up in her bare feet and tapped on Nova's shoulder. "It's safe to look now. May I have my choker back?"

Nova turned around as she spoke and handed her the choker. " I can dry you if that is what you wish for. But perhaps being without armor helps with the mindset. " He decided to leave the tub where it was at the moment.

"What Basic element do you think you are most compatible with?"

Trinity put her choker back on and gave Nova's question some thought. She knew she felt more confident with Shadow traveling and manipulation. There wasn't anything else aside from holy she could use, at least as far as she is aware of. "Would it be bad if I said it was the shadow, I guess darkness?"

"Right....I forgot you only had Templar training. With Basic Elements I mean Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth and Water. Each Element represents a state of mind in a way. Passion or Anger for Fire, Peaceful and Calm Mind for Water, Impatience and a precise mind for Lightning, Determination and a strong mind for Earth, lastly for Wind you would require somewhat of a carefree mind. Note that these emotions or state of minds help with the Element but are not a perquisite to that Element"

"Which one do you feel similar to? Which one gives you the impression that you have a connection with?"

Trinity listened to Nova and gave it some thought. "I don't know, a little of everything except wind and water. Though, correct me if I'm wrong, wouldn't water help me with holy magic?"

"Glad you picked that up. Water would help since it has a somewhat similar state of mind. However, it is considered to be one of the hardest basic elements to master. Now I am a bit interested in seeing what you will produce. Will it contain Dark Mana, Light Mana or both? If it's both...well...you could easily become one of the strongest mages ever. In time." Nova said and nudged his head towards the tub filled with water.

The water began to twirl." Water has no set shape. It can be molded into whatever shape you desire." The water stopped twirling and small orbs rose from it. Floating towards each other,they became bigger as more orbs connected. Soon one big floating orb was all that was left of the tub. Nova lowered it back into the tub and let the form go.

"We'll start at something easy. Try making it move. A simple ripple would do. I don't believe I need to tell you how to use magic in general since you already can. But for Water Magic try to visualize touching the surface of the water or perhaps dipping your finger in it. Anything that would create a ripple"

Trinity had no formal training in magic, at least when it fist emerged. She was with the paladins for such a short time to really do training. In using it, it came so naturally that it just happens with out her putting much thought to it. She didn't really sit down and analyze how it all happened.

She tried to do what Nova suggested. A hand from the nearest shadow touched the water and caused the water to ripple. "Um... I don't think it's supposed to work like that confused "

"Well, that was unexpected." Nova replied. It still amazed him how she could be able to even do that. Using Shadow as easily as breathing.

"Clear your mind, make it as tranquil as motionless water. Think only of water. Gather Mana and try again. We shall keep on trying until you get it right." Nova said with a smile and was intent on having her learn it properly. Well...properly as in his way. Not the way of that University. People could grow so much faster without all of those needless steps they are forced to take in order to learn it.

After several tries she used the darkness in the water to create the ripple.
"Does that count?... I think I almost had it that time."

Perhaps there was a draw back for Shadow/Dark magic come so easy to her. She had never touched any other elements aside from the holy magic and even that one was difficult.

"Why does my Shadow Magic keep getting in the way?
If Water is tranquil, and peaceful, is there something associated with Dark magic?"

"Maybe because you find peace and tranquility in the shadows." Nova pondered. He took pride in his knowledge for magic but this was already way out of the ordinary. Nova sighed." Keep trying. No Shadows. That doesn't count."

The next try wasn't with shadow magic but the ripple was caused by holy magic. "Well it wasn't dark magic at least... A step in the right direction I guess...". She tried a few more times and got frustrated, "Augh! I'm just not getting it." she fluidly swings her arms up than down as she turns around and says, "I give up!". Doing that caused two moumds of water to move up and down.

Yeah, that's why it is considered to be one of the hardest to learn. Impatience kicks in.

Nova then noticed the movement in the water."Ah, motion. I suppose that is one way. A bit unusual but it seems to work for you. Common rules don't seem to apply to you anyway." Nova replied" Try something similar"

"Y'know that sounds like a great idea and all but I don't think we're her first priority... from what I could tell she seemed to be obsessed with finding Trinity. Trying to break the clan with having you kill me seem to be just an addition. Still I don't think sh would go after the clans she'll be after us because we're part of Trinity's group.

On the other hand it wouldn't be a bad idea to warn the others of what she's trying to make you do. However if we find the solution to her dust we could handle this on our own and not have to worry the others. I dunno." she yawns a little. "I'm a little tired to think straight right now. We could discuss it further in the morning if you like."

Alec caught Kerana's yawn and returned it. "Sounds good. I hope you don't mind that I just crash here. I don't feel good about leaving you alone tonight."
