"..... Yeah." Liadan answered softly. "I'm okay." She looked to Kali who nodded. 'Kali's fine too. " She spoke up as she frowned somewhat looked at Jezebel.
"I'll be alright." She muttered somewhat as she rubbed at her shoulder. "that was..... strange...."

Rikki Tikki Travi Gidget's hands moves in an unnatural robotic way to Kerana's hand and grips it lightly. Her speaker cracks again as her eyes stay on Kerana.
"I'll be fine. I just need to rest for a bit. Recharge the batteries as it is. Listen, I don't want you to blame yourself for what has happened. I looked at the security footage. Alec was dead before you came to visit him last night. Shane's broken off biomass consumed him shortly after the first alert tones went off. I know it hurts, but you can't blame yourself. Okay?" "Okay... but still... he admitted he liked me... and I get the sense *sniffs* that it's been like that a while. That it took all of this to come out in the open with it that...." she paused and took a moment to recompose herself, "I still wish I could have stopped it somehow. I was still part of the plan...the intent was so that you could see your brother again...I don't know what I was thinking." Her ears lower again this time in shame.

Shane quickly says, "When I got hurt the biomass tried to repair itself by consuming you three to use your bio-matter. It took a lot of effort to fight it off. We're getting close."
Just as the flying guards caught site of him he bounds off again, bashing through every wall until he arrives at the elevator. A piece of biomass slithers out and summons the elevator. After it retracts he spins around with his back to the door and his shield to the guard. "We're almost clear."
A large caliber round chips off part of his shield. He cries out in pain and drops to a knee. He swears audibly, muttering something about needing more flesh.

"I'm not blaming you sweetie. You were doing what you through was right, and I can't be made at you for that. As for Alec...he was such a shy boy, and everyone else picked on him...except you. You gave him something to love, and you should be proud of that. I don't think he'd want you to be sad for long."
Gidget's lips move awkwardly moves into a small smile.

Rikki Tikki Travi The monitor displays a frowning emoticon. "That gas is highly volatile. One spark and the entire floor will go up. It's also extremely difficult to synthesize. My...source...will have to be contacted as soon as possible."
The screen shows an arrow pointing in the direction next to the closet Trinity mentioned.
"Annie, in there is something I made just for you. I started on it shortly after you enhanced your powers. It's a nano-fiber suit that will melt with you and convert to whatever liquid you do. And when you reform, you wont be naked. It will also change into your favorite color once you put it on."
Annie's thoughts were interrupted though by Gidget approving the use of the gas that subdued Shane and her offer of clothing that actually would change with her. "You're amazing, you know that," Annie said, smiling in regards to the clothing.
Slipping off the trench coat, she slipped on the suit Gidget had made. It was a form fitting cat suit and some awesome boots, turning around, Annie chuckled slightly, "I feel like an X-Men or Bat Girl or something."
Growing more serious, she waved and said, "Sorry to run, but I'm going to go see what I can do about Shane, myself." At that she bolted out the door.

Gidget's lips move awkwardly moves into a small smile. Kerana's ears twitched up as Gidget points out that Alec wouldn't want her to be miserable morning his death all the time. He probably would want her to be a miserably mandy for the rest of her life. Her tail wags and she places her arms carefully around Gidget hugging her, "Thanks Gidget! You're right."

Trinity realized, she was so caught up in the situation, she really didn't think to ask why Annie was in the buff. When Annie puts on the new suit Gidget made her. Trinity whistled and gave a thumbs up, "Looking good Annie." then she saw her bolt out the door. Trinity felt that if she feels she could handle him on her own then let her go at it, she may have some luck. It seemed like there may be a personal level she knows him on. Then she watched as Shane made his entrance."Damn it!"
She pounded on the control panel a little. Trinity gives Kerana a card, "Kerana, I want you to stay put. Keep Gidget company and keep your eyes open, and call me if you see trouble coming. I'm going to check on the Security team and see the level of damage he caused. Hopefully no one is killed and also help getting them out of there and treated." with that Trinity drops through her shadow, her trench cloak follows her violently pulled into its shadow and emerges behind the captain wearing her trench cloak.

The captain throws another piece of building off of one of his troop when Trinity appears behind him. He jumps and shouts in surprise.
"Hot damn ma'am, y'know I hate it when you do that."

"...and y'know that's how I get round." she says with a smirk as she gives the usual response to the captain's plea. She looks around, her tone became more serious, "How bad is it? How many casualties?" she was concerned, a hudge chunk of the troops were down. She noticed at least 9 with broken limb and 12, could be dead or unconscious.

"Not good, but surprisingly not as bad as it could have been. Anyone not flying fell through the floor. Those who fell are either unconscious or injured. No fatalities or potentially fatal injuries. And from what radio chatter I've heard he's made no move to attack us aside from this. It's almost like he's trying not to kill us."
"One more thing ma'am, we couldn't be sure but we think he may have hostages. We've been holding back on explosives until we can confirm, seeing as how nothing else we are throwing at him is making much of...hold that thought."
Some radio chatter comes into his ear. The captain raises his hand mic to his face, "Everyone cease fire, he has three confirmed hostages. Teenage girls, possibly students."

Just as Shane's shielding is about to give away enough to expose the girls to danger, the assault stops. Almost mockingly the elevator door opens and he shuffles back into it with the girls in tow. A piece of biomass once again lashes out and presses the button for the surface floor.
As soon as the elevator closes he releases the girls and falls back against the wall of the elevator car. The carapace slithers back from his face and head down to his neck, but it is still encasing his body. His arms returns to a normal shape as he grunts in pain. There are a number of evident wounds in his carapace, liquid biomass trickling out of them. He strains and grits his teeth. The holes slowly seal themselves and the liquid stops flowing. He coughs and looks up at the girls.
His eyes display genuine concern through his long unkempt hair as he asks them, "Are you three alright?"

Annie made her way through the first elevator shaft in her liquid form, and quickly rushed past the guards picking up tidbits such as "no casualties" and "three hostages."
Not stopping to say a word to the guards Annie shifted again into her liquid form and made it onto the elevator where Shane and the three girls were. Re-materializing fully clothed thanks to Gidget's invention, Annie spat out at the injured Shane, "You have some nerve, Shane Morris."
Before going into a lecture about his gall at punching her, she noticed his grimace and quickly dropped down to his level, pushing his unkempt hair out of his face demanded, "Are you okay?"

It's ok :p PixelMuse ((Sorry I guess I'm getting caught up in the excitement sweatdrop )) Amanda, Liv and the rest of the residential staff have evacuated and are now outside setting up tents and handing out sleeping bags for those who need them. They were able to organize some the tents by power, such as fire based powers were in one tent, ice powers were in a separate tent, electric powers were put in a rubber tent, and several other tents for other powers.
"Heh heh, looks like it's going to be a busy night. I'm not sure when this whole emergency will stay in effect. At least it's a good night tonight." she gave another meta a pillow and takes out the picture of North to look at it for a bit.
Liv was helping Amanda hand everything out. "Say...you know if there is a list of people for each tent? Maybe I can do a headcount later."
She noticed Amanda quickly glancing at the picture of North.
"Just go for him! Staring at that picture isn't going to do that ya know. When you find him just push him down and jump him! He wouldn't even want to get away from that!" Liv encouraged Amanda to do so. Maybe not the best way ever but it's what she would have done.

Shane somehow doesn't seem all that surprised at Annie's appearance, figuring she'd be tough enough to regain consciousness before they could make their escape. He takes a moment to take in Annie's wonderfully skin tight outfit and blushes a little.
He clears his throat to compose himself and says, "They should count themselves lucky that I made a promise to you. I'll be fine once I get a moment to either rest or consume something."
He slowly pushes himself up the wall into a standing position. "Sorry about hitting you, although I wish you had just stayed down."
