Master and Slave

Hotaru pouted a little at being pulled away from her book she was examining. "Ok." She answered as she moved with him towards it, still willingly holding his hand.  

[Roccano]

He smiled as he went over to the case and then looked down and frowned as he tried to read it.
"Its in a language......I.....cant read......."
He being a demon knew all the languages of the earth and the demonic lands.
"What language is this?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru was looked at it and shrugged. "It's Atlantian." She answered as though that was common knowledge. "It's just a poem about the sunset. I've read better." She told him as she tugged him lightly.  

[Roccano]

He blinked a few times and then looked over at her.
"How did you know that?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru tipped her head to the side and shrugged. "I just do." She answered as she pulled lightly again. "Lets go see the rest."  

[Roccano]

He looked at her confused and then nodded lightly, a troubled look on his face as he followed along with her, not really paying attention to the exhibits.

"Kai?" Hotaru inquired as they left the museum. "You seem distracted, is something wrong?" She asked him as she gave his hand a light squeeze.  

[Roccano]

He looked over at her and then laughed lightly, shaking his head.
"No, everything is fine, just thinking is all."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru frowned. "You've been 'thinking' since I told you what that scroll was." She pointed out. "Is something wrong?"  

[Roccano]

He sighed and then looked over at her and nodded lightly.
"Hotaru, the only way you would be able to read Atlantian, and know the language, is if you are a direct descendant of an atlantian."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru frowned. "Is that a bad thing?" She asked him as he seemed to be thinking it was.  

[Roccano]

He laughed lightly and then shook his head.
"No, im just try9ing to figure out why a person like you would be an Atlantian.
Atlantians werent usually subdued like you are, before the island sank, they were always out and about, doing performances and such for the people on the rest of the earth."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru stopped and glared at him. "Why a person like me?" She repeated as she jerked her hand out of his hold. "There is nothing wrong with me!" She yelled at him, actually yelled at him. "Why does everyone think there is something wrong with me? Is it so hard to accept someone as they are?" She shoved him and then took off running with her hands over her ears so she couldn't hear any order he tried to give her.  

[Roccano]

Kai watched her run away slightly confused.
She had asked what he was thinking about, and he said what it was.
He sighed lightly and then started running after her, expecting her to go to her house instead of his own and then ran to her house.

Hotaru had beat him there and locked the door. She had the radio on inside, up as loud as she could stand so she couldn't hear him. If she couldn't hear his order she wasn't obligated to follow it.
