Nova Blancke Theonis noticed how it was getting warmer in the room. And he knew that it wasn't imagining things.
Suddenly the alarm went off.
"Ahhh s**t...can't I have a normal day? Angel! I think we need to get out of here! It's getting way too hot here plus the alarm. I don't think it's safe to stay here"
Angel frowned her face became twisted as her brows knitted together and her frown deepened. Suddenly, everything changed once more as Tansy regained control.She looked around the room and fanned herself off for a moment. "We need to find Ako." She said sternly as she started out of the room.

Nodding, the three stepped to the side when Annie suddenly appeared. They were confused on how to react. It was obiousvious that he cared for people, a feeling that both Kali and Jeze barely understood, but one that Lia knew well. So, they stood quite, watching the scene in front of them unfold.

"Welcome back Tansy." Theonis simply replied. He wished Angel would have stayed longer. No use dwelling on that thought."Ako went out to look for Gidget. And judging by this alarm. Things are pretty messed up right now. It's safer to leave." Theonis said but followed Tansy regardless.

Nova Blancke Oh this is perfect. Organized based on their power. It's like an all you can eat buffet! Maybe I'll see what kind of power I can get.
Liv was helping Amanda hand everything out. "Say...you know if there is a list of people for each tent? Maybe I can do a headcount later."
She noticed Amanda quickly glancing at the picture of North.
"Just go for him! Staring at that picture isn't going to do that ya know. When you find him just push him down and jump him! He wouldn't even want to get away from that!" Liv encouraged Amanda to do so. Maybe not the best way ever but it's what she would have done.
"I know I have to make a move and I will when he comes back from his mother." she let out a sigh as she put the photo away. "As for head counts the residential agents are on top of that so there's no worries there. You could mingle with the other metas, and if you find someone you may like as a roomate we can make arrangements for the both of you. Just make sure to let the agent know what type you are so that they can keep track". Amanda hands her a sleeping bag and pillow. "Here you go we can take care of things from here."Rikki Tikki Travi "Not good, but surprisingly not as bad as it could have been. Anyone not flying fell through the floor. Those who fell are either unconscious or injured. No fatalities or potentially fatal injuries. And from what radio chatter I've heard he's made no move to attack us aside from this. It's almost like he's trying not to injure us."
"One more thing ma'am, we couldn't be sure but we think he may have hostages. We've been holding back on explosives until we can confirm, seeing as how nothing else we are throwing at him is making much of...hold that thought."Some radio chatter comes into his ear. The captain raises his hand mic to his face, "Everyone cease fire, he has three confirmed hostages. Teenage girls, possibly students." Trinity let out a sigh of relief when she heard there were no deaths but thought it was a little puzzled as to why he wasn't killing. He didn't seem to hesitate with the Daedalus Team, but then again he seemed to be struggling to keep it in before it was all let out. She swore to herself as she found that he had hostages. "Students? How did students get in the restricted facility? There's someone that is talking to him, hopefully she can convince him to let go of the hostages."

Rikki Tikki Travi Shane somehow doesn't seem all that surprised at Annie's appearance, figuring she'd be tough enough to regain consciousness before they could make their escape. He takes a moment to take in Annie's wonderfully skin tight outfit and blushes a little.
He clears his throat to compose himself and says, "They should count themselves lucky that I made a promise to you. I'll be fine once I get a moment to either rest or consume something."
He slowly pushes himself up the wall into a standing position. "Sorry about hitting you, although I wish you had just stayed down."
"Yeah, well you should know I don't stay down very well. And, you won't get time to rest any time soon," Annie said, ignoring Shane's blush, she was all business. "They're planning on releasing the subduing gas as soon as Gidget get's clearance to get a hold of some of that stuff."
"If we can get on campus, you can feed on some squirrels there," Annie told him. "You can't walk a foot on campus without one of those buggers trying to trip you so enough prey should be there."

Shane shakes his head, and shudders a bit with a strong desire stinging at his very core. He likens it to someone who is addicted to a drug. He looks up and notices a camera. With one quick swipe of his right hand the camera lens is separated from the housing compartment. Good, now there is no chance of anyone finding out.
"It's going to take a lot more than squirrels Annie. I said I wasn't going to kill anyone today, and I'll hold to that. I'm going to need to consume something march larger, like a cow or something. Please you have to get out of here before they realize you let me leave."

"Oh, well there's a cow farm about a mile from here," Annie said, shuddering lightly at the thought of the poor cow to be consumed alive soon.
She then pushed her hair behind her ear and chuckled darkly, "Shane, unless I'm unconscious, battered, and in at least as bad of shape as those guards they are going to know I let you escape. It is my style to fight to the death or incapacitation. Reigning you in, should be no different."
"Besides, you're heading to the Daedalus Project's HQ in North Dakota right?" Annie asked. "Well I have unfinished business there. You don't get what kind of Hell I was put through there. It wasn't just being locked up it was being experimented on constantly and... and the torturing of me and the screams of other less durable meta-humans. I've decided if you are headed there to wreck havoc then I want to join you."

Trinity types a text to Gidget a message [he has 3 school girl hostages. Do you know anything about them?]. After that was sent she calls the Medical team to make sure their tent was set up, which was confirmed. With that confirmation she stretched her arms and cracks her knuckles, "Time to go to work".
She starts off with the injured, she picks up one at a time and places them on a bed in the Medical tent. There was a nurse beside each bed because when they get a call from Trinity they know what to expect next.

Shane's eyes widen at what is coming out of Annie's mouth. Such spite and venom for the people that wronged her, who have wronged so many others.
"That is precisely why I knocked you unconscious earlier. If the machine catches on to what we are doing there, then she will make a premature strike against Daedalus. She has only seen video footage of their strike forces, she hasn't seen what we have. Annie, please, stay behind and feign defeat for a little while. I will wait for you there."
Shane thinks for a moment, just now realizing something. "Annie, where have the residents of Valhalla gone? Even if the whole facility went on lock-down there should have been emergency crews in place at the infirmary. Yet there was only security forces."

Liv put down the bag and pillow and hugged Amanda tight. She really likes hugging people. Pushing herself away she kept her hands on her shoulders. "You hang in there okay! I'll be rooting for you!" Liv said with a wink before getting her stuff and walking off. She turned around and became more serious."We need to watch out. This many Meta's outside....there is no way that Daedelus isn't going to notice this." With that she took her leave.
Now...what power should I take? I have a few in my head which would make such a nice addition to my current array. But something better could always come in my way. Liv knew that the non-element users were put in different tents than the element users. Fire is nice but not an essential need for her. No she wanted something more...special. Letting fate decide she informed the agent that she would be staying with the non-element users.
After laying down her sleeping bag and pillow she began to look around for potential 'prey' but you wouldn't be able to tell from her face.

Annie bit her lip and then swore, "I think they're all outside. I'm not sure though..."
"And I don't want to feign defeat like a spoiled little princess licking her wounds," snapped Annie. "I have waited thirteen years to see you again and this time you're going to just walk out on me toting the three trickster sisters with you. No thank-you."
"And, how am I supposed to get away from 'Gidget' once you escape," continued Annie. "Do you think she'll just let me go after "losing" in a fight against you? No she'll want to monitor me to make sure I'm okay. She'll track me if I go to catch up with you..." Placing her hands on her hips Annie accused, "You just want rid of me, don't you? Do you think I don't have the heart in me to take down Daedalus or something?"

"I believe your escape has proved otherwise. And no, I don't just want to get rid of you. I don't want to drag you into Hell with me."
It becomes evident in his eyes that he knows what he is doing is wrong, but that he has looked beyond that to the goal he has sworn to achieve.
The elevator stops at the top floor, but before it has a chance to open Shane hits the emergency button. "I can feel them. Oh that stupid machine."
Shane looks at Annie and chuckles darkly, "Well I have good news, and bad news. The good news is I don't think the machine will have time to tag you. The bad news is that she'll be busy with her own crisis here."
Shane releases the button and the doors open. He takes a few steps outside into the lobby and looks out the windows on either side of the front door. He sighs heavily at what looks like a meta-human woodstock.
"Daedalus will pick up on this many meta-human signatures out in the open."

[Those three are trouble making sisters I picked up earlier today. They caused an enormous wreck in downtown Knoxburgh. The oldest one can fiddle with luck and control memories. I don't know what the middle one does, but the youngest is the one that did this to me. I think she can sap powers.]

"Wait.. Can't seriously be thinking of letting her tag along." Jezebel's eyes narrowed as she spoke. Her tone harsh.
Lia frowned and grabbed her sister's arm. "But they love each other!" She whined softly.
"What does that have to do with anything?" She snapped back.

Shane turns and glares at Jezebel while taking an extremely stern tone.
"As I recall you invited yourselves along. I don't think it's a good idea for children to go where I plan on going, and witnessing what I plan on doing. However, you seem to have no other place to go, so I have conceded thus far. If you don't like the way I do things, you can leave whenever you want."
Shane looks over at Liadan and her innocent eyes. Something about her strikes a nerve in Shane, and for a brief flash he sees his little sister. He squints his eyes hard and shakes his head slightly, trying to get the image out of his head.
