More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Trinity got back to the troops she was looking very worned out and very tired. Whether she realized it or not, her body had been shadow traveling all day. She managed to get all of the injured to the medical tent, but not all of the unconscious. When she emerges she takes a few steps forward toward a wall and steadies herself with her forearm. Her brow glisens with sweat. She realized that all because she can't remember using her shadow traveling so much doesn't mean that she didn't.

"I can't... stop now... there's still ... people who need help..." she huffs as she rest for a moment. She checks her message from Gidget... "so.. it looks like... the may be working with him... or still taken against their will..."

She paused a moment and thought, I hope we can wrap this up soon... the Daedalus Project would have a field day going after the metas out there now...

The Captain of security keys his mic into Trinity's signal. "Ms. Smith, Shane Morris has made it to the lobby of the university. He still has the girls in tow. Any site of him outside?"

Trinity recomposes herself before she answers, "I haven't seen any sign of them outside. Just a thought, there may be a chance that they are working with him." despite her efforts she still did sound tired. "I'll see if Gidget has seen anything..." she sends a text asking if she has the current location of Shane.

Gidget taps into the security cameras upon reading Trinity's message. She responds with, [Behind the front door. It looks like he is chastising the sisters...Annie is with him, possibly trying to talk him down. Shane looks hurt, be careful.]

Trinity swallows, she feels the men could handle the rest here. She thought Annie could use some back up and she could be there just in case if she does. She forwards the text to the Captain along with

[have the men carry on without me... I've got all the injured to the medical tent and a lot of the unconscious...]
She then goes into her shadow and watches from the darkness as Annie talks to Shane.

Annie bit her lip torn, maybe she should stay here and help the other meta humans if- no when- the Daedalus Project showed up. She turned her gaze out the window taking in the sight of the meta-human camping trip (or at least that is what most of them seemed to be treating it as). "The idiots," Annie muttered. "It is like painting a target on Valhalla."

Turning to Shane she sighed, "Do they really think you are more dangerous than the Daedalus Project? Never mind don't answer that..."

"I'm guessing I can do more damage to the Daedalus Project by going with you then staying here and helping a out in a mere attack and capture maneuver by Daedalus," Annie said finally. "But I want you to promise me something, Shane: no killing humans until we arrive at the Daedalus Project's HQ unless I say otherwise."

Shane turns and looks at Annie with some conflict. His first desired reaction is to tell her that he cannot promise that. That the desire to consume has begun to reach beyond mere organic material. Then again he knows that she wont back down. Giving up is obviously not in her dictionary.

With a heavy sigh he concedes with, "I'll try."

Trinity watched as Annie talks to Shane. Uncertain about what her relationship to Shane is or how Annie works she thinks hmmm... it looks like Shane seems to care about her. If she's offering to join him then she could be a double agent. Interesting that she seems to want to launch an attack on the Daedalus ... using Shane's hunger to drive him over there. She observed the 3 girls, in school uniforms they didn't seem to be in a state of fear or panic, they are most likely with him...

Annie opened her mouth about to lecture him 'do or do not there is no try' before shutting her mouth again, deciding not to say anything. It was obvious that it was hard enough for Shane to not give into his baser instinct, but then again if they waited around much longer there soon would be Daedalus goons for him to consume.

Instead, Annie smiled and kissed Shane on the cheek, "You know what I think I've fallen in love with you all over again."

Turning away from Shane she sighed, running her hand through her hair, "Well, we better get going soon..."

Just when Liv was about to 'hunt' a young girl bumped into her. A really young girl. She doubted she was over 10. The little girl looked like she was panicking but who could blame her. Liv couldn't just leave a little girl out here on her own. Who the hell left her here? Or maybe she just got lost. Either way it was safer for the girl to stay with Liv for now.

Liv comforted her and took her hand. Instead of walking towards an agent she kept the girl with her. It was the safest for now. She led the little girl towards her sleeping back and sat down on it. The girl seemed hesitant but eventually sat in between Liv's legs, leaning against her as Liv wrapped her arms around her.

Good, she's relaxing. Ahh...been a while since I have been like that. She was unlucky...just like me. Kid's shouldn't have Meta powers. They should grow up normally and have a normal childhood. Liv thought to herself and sighed. An idea forced it's way into Liv's head. She could...'help' that child get her normal life back. But she needed to think about that first.

Shane blushes again, memories of the first time she kissed him on the cheek coming back in full force. The newness of it, and how wonderful it felt...how wonderful it still feels.

Regaining his composure he clears his throat and looks to the sisters. "I have an idea for how to get us out of here, but I need to know something first. Do you three really want to stay with me, and why?"

The chaotic atmosphere had caused Orion to 'black out' so to speak, though he had not 'blacked out' he was unpredictable, and not himself. The alarms had set the young man off, and he hadn't been able to grasp or control his uneasy-ness since, even with Apollo at his side, his emotions inside him were going haywire, and his behavior tended to make the others move cautiously around him. He was in over-protective, defensive mode, he had pulled knives on several people who had startled him already, and had made sure his brother did not leave his sight. "..." Orion sat in the corner of one of the tents, seemingly fighting with his inner self, and inner emotions, the red eye staring towards the floor and taking almost constant glances to make sure Apollo had not left.

"..." Apollo fumbled the thumbs together, he did not enjoy the way his brother seemed to be acting, but he himself was nervous to speak up about his behavior because he had not even seen Orion go this far.. He had not spoken to anyone, and had not said much of anything to the younger brother. One of the young hands gripped a part of the elder's coat nervously, something that caused the red eye to jump to him and mellow out once realizing it was only Apollo, it was apparent Orion was fighting something...And apparently was having a difficult time defeating it this time, as he was more antsy than Apollo had ever seen him.. More prone to doing something he wouldn't have meant.. Yes, Apollo had to keep an eye on the father-figure..As he seemed to be the one that needed looking after for at this current time..It was a chaotic atmospher even Orion couldn't escape, not this time..

'God, I don't know how much longer I can handle watching these two.' Jeze rolled her eyes somewhat as she scoffed when he asked if they were tagging along still and why. "Maybe... Maybe not." She shrugged somewhat.

"I wanna stay." Lia interjected softly. But Jeze dismissed her. "Look... It's nothing against you, but the only reason I signed on for helping you get out was because it got us out of here. And it sounds to me like you're planning on taking down this project whatever it is... and that's a little too goody for my tastes... So I'm pretty sure this is us going our sepreate ways." She crossed her arms over her chest. "Unless you plan on taking a trip back down the rabbit hole, you won't be seeing us any time soon."

Shane studied Jezebel as she spoke. She craves chaos, he thinks to himself. Unless people are suffering around her, she isn't going to be happy. Shane's thoughts don't remain on her for long, though, as he can't get Liadan as Gidget out of his head. He wants to be near her, he wants his sister back. If he were sane he'd know that could never happen. That this girl is not his sister. Unfortunately for him, he hasn't been sane in a long while.

"I can guarantee that I bring death with me wherever I go. Daedalus will be no different. Make no mistake, people tend to die when I'm around. If what you mean by "rabbit hole" is a black cloud of doom hanging over my head, then I haven't left that f*cking hold in thirteen years. Besides...you really think the machine is really going to let you stay free after you busted me out? How easy was it for her to catch you I wonder...it took her eight years for me"

"I under estasmated her." She growled softly as she narrowed her eyes at him. 'But he has a point...' "We might stick around for a while. But don't expect us to be here forever."

Lia cheered happily and clapped her hands.
