User Image Listening to her words Sylvir thought to himself, Even when shown an apology and kindness she responds negatively. Obviously she does not care for, nor does she deserve, any kindness
Nodding to Aiden, "Very well. It shall be my pleasure to never bother you, tiny child." he said with a smirk. He was about to head to his room when the growing feeling that someone had been watching him caused him to turn and see Le'Minz standing with Geoff. He approached the two men with Alu, noticing a pause in their conversation he bowed his head, "Many apologies, sir." he announced with reverence, "I could not help but notice the way you were looking at me, sir. I also would like to take this time to formally introduce myself. My name is Sylvir Fenrir, knight of the Hand of Angellus, it is a great honor to meet you, Sir Le'Minz."

((I'd like to agree with you there Ebilest, much posting goes on whenever I get off for a bit. It's hard to keep up D: ))

With the acceptation from Head master Le'minz, Meyer kindly smiled and took to his booted feet. That's when Geoff returned, before Gales could greet him, the well cultured man asked to speak with Serenus aside. At first this made the duelist concerned, his amber eyes at their corners trying to peak at her reaction. He hoped mentioned issues weren't anything the two would take on as bad blood.
Then again neither would any of the other professors.

So the faculty disbanded, Le'minz headed in the direction his good friend, Geoff headed. Meyer figured it best to take another route to the city outside. As he stepped down the hall, his mind was clouded with events that happened over the last few hours. Those thoughts soon faded as he drew closer to the library after crossing the long courtyard, his personal short cut and one location of his dueling class. He closed the wide doors of the library behind him after his boots echoed throughout the vast empty archives. It was then he noticed Miss Vindicta making her way down the corridor. Gales lowered his gaze to the floor and passed her, unsure how to greet her when they last saw each other not much longer than ten minutes ago. Plus he was very lost with what he over heard Geoff said to her.
The snow locked man prayed she wasn't taking his actions to much offense. He had always admired Serenus, as Meyer knew Geoff has aswell, maybe it was the time he would admit this. And it was that thought that brought a pit to his stomach. He felt pathteic that he was just worrying over what could be nothing at all, yet it was the doubt in what he called himself flawed that fueled this feeling. Soon after a few akward feet, Gales turned the corner and approached an exit.

The night air, fresh and cool welcomed professor Gales. Closing his eyes, the ill man took a deep inhale to whisk away the gut wrenching pain he previously felt. He silently hummed a military march from his home city, Twilhaven, as Aura academy faded behind him and the city around it took him in.

((I apologize for the massive, basically pointless post. Now that I'm in the RP though, I should be able to come up with better stuff since I won't be doing it all as a catch up!))

. : Feoryie Lyndelle Crestwynd : .

Feoryie had never been much for crowds, or for staying in one place for a more then a month or two, but here she found herself, enrolled in an academy she was sure to be at for at least a year, most likely longer than that, and all just to learn to control her own Aura as best as she could.

She had been here since the opening ceremony, standing as far away from the other students as she could manage and not look like she didn't belong there. She wasn't flamboyantly dressed, so she didn't stand out one way or the other, except maybe for her hair which she currently had pulled back into a tight french braid. Her hair was a dark brown, almost black, and was streaked in an almost crimson red that blended well, but still stood out. All that was visible of her clothing was the black travel cloak she was wearing with the hood currently pulled down away from her face.

She couldn't help but overhear a couple of the other students chatting among themselves, some louder than the others. The two that stood out the most could be heard over almost all of the noise from the other students. One said his name was Alu, while the other stated his name was Sylvir, both odd names, and they were both from distant lands as was apparent by their dress and the way they spoke. She didn't pay them much attention, only enough to notice that Sylvir seemed to be brimming with Aura.

Shortly after that, she got the opportunity to see an Avatar produced, thinking only that it had to be Belfiar Le'Minz, as no other could have so successfully pulled off an Avatar quite like that one, and that was her first encounter of the headmaster.

Staying to the back of the crowd as everyone entered the building and headed to the dining hall for whatever food the school offered, Feoryie tried but failed to pick out and identify as many of the students as she could by something unique about them. The only ones that would stay in her mind would most likely be the two that were so loud and different, Alu and Sylvir.

In the dining hall, she found the quietest spot she could manage, the furthest from most of the other students, but still a part of the group. She stayed silent and watched the interaction of some of the professors as well as some of the students, again drawn to Alu and Sylvir who seemed to be causing a tad of trouble with a young woman who was missing an eye and an arm. She watched as one of the professors went over to the three and pulled them into the hall, then came back after a moment, acting almost like nothing happened.

Feoryie simply shrugged it off and finished her food quickly, then waited for a few minutes to see if anything else interesting was going to happen. She was honestly slightly shocked that no one had said a single word to her yet, as someone normally would have done so in a second outside of the school.

When nothing happened other than the students slowly leaving to head for their respective rooms, she waited off to the side for most of the crowd to clear out, trying to stay unnoticed, then she would go to her own room behind everyone else.

Aiden stared at Sylvir then growled a bit to herself. "Whatever..." she mumbled to herself as she turned away and headed for the girl dorms. As she walked though, a balcony caught her attention. A small peaceful smile came over her face as she walked over to it and gazed out to the land.
Aiden used her one arm to place herself over the ledge and watch the sunset. Everynow and then a steamboat would fly across the sky. She liked this peaceful area. It was nice. She just prayed her room window would have a sight just like this one.

That was when her ears finally caught on the conversation behind her. "Hmm?" She leaned her head to the side a bit to listen. She recognized Shiney Knight's voice, which caused her to roll her eyes and lose interest. Though, nothing else interesting was going on, so why not listen?

Geoff:

Geoff looked back to the dining hall and saw that most of the students started to leave. Crap! I forgot to tell Serenus where to meet me! Geoff cursed under his breath. If she had to go looking for him on top of everything that already happened then there was no chance she'd take the time to listen to what he had to say. He patted Belfiar's shoulder and turned towards the dining hall.

"Bel, I've gotta get going. I need to talk with Serenus about some things, and no I'm not going to be laying into her again so you can rule that out." Geoff turned to Alu. "Hey, kid, stick with Belfiar for a little bit, he should help you get settled in."

Geoff gave Belfiar and Alu a limp wristed wave as he headed back into the dining hall but Serenus had already left. He placed his face into his palm. She wasn't going to be happy about that, not at all. But where could she have gone? If she went to her room then he wouldn't be able to speak with her. Professor or not, Bel would throw a fit if he went into the womens dormatory. Where else then? Her classroom was a possibility, but that was on the other side of the campus. What was close that could...Library!

Geoff sprinted down the halls towards the library, bounding around corners and practically springing off the walls. He weaved around the odd person exploring the halls, and was shortly just a turn away from the library. He rounded the corner.

"s**t!" he yelled. He tried to stop before he slammed into Serenus. However, since there was still some of Alu's blood on his boots he slid right into her. Both of them slammed hard into the ground. Geoff groaned and held his head with one hand, pushing himself up with the other.

"You alright?" he asked, bringing himself up to his feet and extending a hand to help Serenus back onto hers.

Alu:

Alu finished cleaning the mess he'd made and stood to face Headmaster Le'Minz. Le'Minz was tall, like Sylvir, though not quite as tall and not nearly as well muscled. He kneeled before Le'Minz and bowed respectfully. "I'm sorry, headmaster. I also should introduce myself. I am Alu Kahuak, once an Inculkatwa the Owankanta."

He looked back up to the Headmaster. "I apologize for the stairs and the fight earlier," he said, his eyes moving to Sylvir. "It was not good judgement by us. Inculkatwa are leaders among my people. My actions reflect that poorly."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.A familiar voice shouted throughout the halls, Geoff. Pivoting on her heels she turned to face him but saw he was hurtling towards her. It was too late for her to brace herself and they collided into each other. Landing on the ground she made the sound of “humpf”. Her head was dizzy and the room was swaying back and forth….she wasn’t sure where she was any more. A hand was in her face and she grabbed it. It hosted her up to her feet and held her until she got her barrens. Finally she noticed it was Geoff who had her and was questioning how she felt. Parting her lips no words came out, she still was baffled by what hit her. It took her a while but she did answer him, “I am fine just a little shaken.”

She led him into the library so she could sit down. Finding a solitary place she sat down with nothing else it mind. Cradling her head in her hands she just mumbled about her head and how her body ached ignoring Geoff as he sat there staring at her. At last she spoke to him lifting her head up to have their eyes connect, “What is it you want to talk about?” She noticed her hair was down again, she put it up while she walked to the library. Some hair was out of the bun while other still held tightly in place. She looked like a modern wreck. It was comical in a way.

EBIL SPEAKS: Serenus should be familiar with this format for my OOC posts, heh. As should Lucius. Alright, folks, I do need to mention something - I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this. The roleplay is going splendidly - characters are developing, the plot is lumbering slowly forward, and everyone's posts are most impressive, putting mine to shame in many cases. However, the roleplay is fast approaching the point where it's like being in a three-legged race when your partner only has one leg - you're twice as much a cripple as before. That's an awkward metaphor, but what I mean is that those of us that cannot post often are not getting to participate in the story. I did not want to do this, but I'm going to ask that you limit yourselves to one post per day, of whatever length you wish. That should be ample, since this is a casual roleplay, and we still have one or two members that will be joining us in the roleplay shortly.

On a side note, it's 1:30 AM here, and I've got to get up early tomorrow, so I'm going to have to post MY post tomorrow wink

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Feoryie caught sight of one of the professors coming back into the dining hall, clearly looking for someone, before he suddenly face palmed. She raised an eyebrow at this motion, curious as to what he could have possibly forgotten or seen that made him do that, just as he disappeared back into the hall.

About that time, she realized that the majority of the students had filed out of the dining hall and headed towards their own rooms, so she followed suit, still lagging just a tad behind. Just outside of the dining hall, she spotted Headmaster Le'Minz and nodded slightly in his direction with a barely visible smile to greet him before continuing on her way, letting her eyes linger on him and Alu for just a moment.

(( whee Alright, two then. Just 'cause you asked so sweetly wink ))

Le'Minz looked the two up and down, eyeing them carefully. "It is a pleasure to meet you both - as you most likely know, I am your Headmaster." His face was very grave, though a twinkle lurked in his eyes. "Firstly, I cannot have anyone breaking the Academy - I don't fancy the costs and time it would take to try to repair the west tower if you sneezed suddenly." He chuckled slightly. "Secondly, you two need to find an outlet - release your aggressive sides, so to speak. There's nothing wrong with being a warrior - the important part is finding the proper time and place."

He thought a moment. "That being said, I think I'm going to put you with Professor Gales tomorrow - your assigned duties will include helping him with any work he needs done, and sparring with him as much as he likes." Belfiar's homely face split slightly in a wolfish smile. "I think you'll find dueling with him to be an excellent stress reliever."

((Occ: Yes that two posts per day quota sounds what's best for the guild. It's seriously hard to catch up at times. Plus I get lost in the excellent posts the other's reply, it takes awhile to get ready to reply due to the epic length of description and imagery everyone puts out.))
Suddenly a sneeze caught Meyer off guard. He took his handkerchief to clean himself while turning his head over his shoulder towards the direction Aura was.
I must be in someone's conversation...He thought the chuckled to himself , gripping his locket on the end of the rapier's hilt. Or that's atleast what you taught me, mother. The man's mother was a very unique one as that, she loved making theories of the unexplained or concepts that had reason behind them and just making up her own. With sweet memories of his mother and letters of her adventures in his head, Meyer carried on with his stroll.

He took in the amazing industrious scenery, the towering bronze and copper structures that made the buildings of the city. The ill man covered his mouth to shield a small cough, not one from his illness, he just took in some foul air of an exhaust pipe of a adjacent building. He couldn't help but notice all the patrons that were in pairs, young sweet couples first experiencing love and aged happy ones that shared many decades together. It made him sigh with awe, especially when he saw a small child run up to her parents and hug them.
Gales only dreamed of having something like that, but atlas he felt unworthy of such luxury.
He lowered his gaze and his calm smile faded, he carried on with his walk, through the ally ways and over the bridges that hovered above the waterways.
He took over two hours, but he made his way around most of Prometheus. The docks and port, the city square, the market place and a park, finally he reached the steps before Aura. Gales looked up at the academy, reassuring himself nothing was out of the ordinary on his walk. Now he was to enjoy the quiet air outside a bit longer before retiring to his quarters.

Everybody, with your fists raised high,

ooc; oh dear oh dear oh dear. . . This roleplay is moving along so quickly. And this is my first multi-player roleplay, I normally only do one-on-one. So much to read! I suppose I'll just pick up on my own somewhere, due to my two day absence. And ay, Sir Ebil, I support the two posts a day limit.

There were still students roaming around curiously in the dining room, and Carlisle had stayed behind as well, whilst all the other professors had scuttled along to do other business. He was actually quite happy he wasn't as popular as Sir Gales or Lady Serenus might have been. He would probably get little, to no students that were interested in anything he had to offer, which was precisely the way he wanted it. He'd have ample time to roam around, and hopefully get to know some students personally. If anything, he'd be happy just to be there as some sort of counselor.

Carlisle had long since finished his dinner, though now he sat in an awkward hunched position, biting down on the fine silverware that was the end of a fork. His elbow rested on the table, with his chin placed in his palm, and his gaze was fixed on the wall across the room. Again, he'd gone off thinking again. The dark-skinned boy, and the knight with such silver hair. Also, that young woman with the eye patch, and the missing arm. An incredibly curious group of students, and while he was getting most of his information on them, just by watching their actions, he felt the urge to speak with them personally. A small smile came upon his face, and he rose from his seat, fixing his shirt. Whenever he next got the chance, he'd see about speaking with one of them. There were so many students, but some just perked his natural curiosity more than others. He turned heel for the large, impressive doors leading out of the building, and stepped into the fresh air, letting the door creak shut behind him. He took a seat on the front stairs with a huff. He found a few bent cigarettes in his back pocket. He dug a small lighter out of the same pocket, flipping it open and lighting up his cigarette between his lips. He exhaled, blowing smoke into the air in front of him as it floated away. "I suppose you never really know what to expect anymore," He muttered to himself with a chuckle.

let me hear your battle cry tonight!

"What is it you wanted to talk about?" Serenus asked. Geoff followed Serenus into the library; his innards unclenched themselves a little when he she put her hair back up. She was a bit more relaxed now, at least. He found it odd that she felt more relaxed when she was more serious, but considering what she'd been through he could understand it to a point. Hell, it's kinda the same reason I do what I do.

"Um...well...god, I wish I was better at this," he said. After a deep breath he continued. "Look, we both know I'm no good at apologies. Hell, horse crap is better at it than me, but...well, look, I apologize about, ya know, what I said earlier. I didn't want to insult your pride like that."

Geoff leaned with his back against the door and sighed. "Hell, I never mean to hurt your feelings the way I do. I know this is probably wierd for you, me actually being open and all, but damn it all I can't keep this crap up anymore, it's driving me nuts!" He lightly pounded his fists against his forehead before dragging his open palms down his face.

"Look, I know the reason I keep picking on you won't make sense to you. Honestly it doesn't make a single shred of sense to me either, but somehow it ended up being a coping mechanism for what happened." He sighed again. "Crap, I'm just talking in circles. I'm gonna be frank about it. Serra, I respect you alot. As a teacher and as a friend, but more than that...well...you remind me of Alice. Every time I see you I see her."

Geoff smiled. "You would've liked her alot I think. She was always timely, and bookish too, like you. We fought all the time, which is why I think I tend to pick on you. Somewhere in the confused and muddled recesses of what might pass as a brain in my head I just get that urge to act the way I did with her."

Another long sigh. Geoff looked up at Serenus, pulling himself off the wall and moving to sit in one of the chairs. "But you're not her, and somehow I've got to remember that. Anyway, I'm sorry for putting you through that rant when that isn't even what I really brought you in here for."

Geoff leaned to one side of the chair and set his elbow on the armrest. His chin rested in a cupped hand comfortably. "You no doubt saw the students I had to pull out of the dining hall earlier. Well, one of the boys, the dark skinned one with the tattoos, I need your help with him." He shifted positions and sat with his back against the backing of the chair, looking up at Serenus. "That kid, his name's Alu by the way, well, I think his aura is starting to awaken."

User Image Sylvir nodded his head, accepting Le'Minz's orders, "As you wish, sir. I have had the pleasure of meeting Sir Gales at the welcoming ceremony, it would be an honor to spar with him." As he finished his words he thought about the way he had acted, insulting the small girl for no justified reason but in a failed attempt to use humor. He did not care for her feelings, but felt he should have known better and acted in a manner that a member of The Order should. It has been a while since I last meditated. With the chaos of a new place and new people I need to focus and collect myself. he thought to himself, concerned about his emotional stability. "Concerning outlets for our aggression, I am due to meditate and focus my mind. Sir Le'Minz, if you would excuse me?"
