The Park

Meggie and Phoebe were right in front of her and Lysander's secret spot. "Lysander and I found this place its secluded from everything else. So what did you want to talk about?" She used her connection to Earth and pulled the thick intertwining branches back and stepped inside.  

[Makensy Frost]

"Oo, you found a secret spot with Lysander?" She winked and giggled. When they were covered by the branches, Phoebe looked at Meggie. "Ah~ Ah~ Ah~ I wanna know more about your date with Lysander." Happily she patted Meggie's back.

Lysander heard voices, and slowly crept to the edge of the water where he could still be hidden from view.

"We really didn't do much, we swam and talked nothing else. Pretty lame I know." She saw a pile of clothes on the ground with a familiar necklace on it. Oh no. "So how was your date with Josh?"  

[Makensy Frost]

"Ooh, I'm sorry." She really was, but the moment Meggie asked about her date she began to giggle. Looking away up at the branches about them, and then back down at Meggie. "We kissed." A huge smile appeared on her face. "I didn't even bite him! An actual, nice, sweet, romantic kiss."

'I believe they call this girl talk.' He thought to himself, not being able to help but feel interested.

"Aww, that's simply amazing!" she smiled at Phoebe, "Do you think he'll kiss me?" she asked her friend softly hoping Lysander was either not paying attention or couldn't hear them.  

[Makensy Frost]

"I know right?!" Being excited, her heart would be racing if she technically had one. Hearing Meggie's question she made herself looking like she was thinking hard. Then suddenly she yelled, "WELL DUH! LOOK AT YOU!"

Lysander heard the question, kiss? Then he heard the answer from her friend. Face turning red, he brought himself deeper down into the water. Kiss? A girl? Curling up in a circle, Lysander's mind began to run in circles, he even began to feel light headed with nervousness. How could he face Meggie now? Covering his face with his tail, he sighed lightly. He'd never kissed anyone before, it's not like sea serpents kissed each other. Not the way humans did, and even then he had never kissed another girl sea serpent.

Meggie giggled and gave Phoebe a hug. "Thanks for the confidence boost. I wonder what it'll be like. It will be my first time. My old boyfriend found it to be silly to kiss, he'd only peck my cheek, he said we'd kiss in senior year. I found it to be ridiculous." She said thinking of back home. "But when he found out I was witch, well that was the end of it." She sighed and sat down on one of the stone benches.  

[Makensy Frost]

"Meggie.." Phoebe frowned. Sitting down next to her, she took hold of her new best friends hand. "Something that I've learned over the hundreds of years I've been alive is that most men are selfish bastards. They put high expectations over women, while women have to put low expectations over men." Which was sadly true. "But, there's always that man out there, the one rare one who will look at you and know who you really are and think, 'she's perfect' and.. Well, 'god I'd love to f*** her.' But that's besides the point." She smiled at herself. "All I'm trying to say is, you deserve the best and if a guy dumps you for that stupid reason, then he's not worth your time or love."

'Girl talk. Girl talk. Girl talk.' He thought over and over to himself, trying to ignore what the two girls were saying, but his hearing was better than any animal out there.

She giggled and softly punched Phoebe, then something dawned on her. "Do you speak from experience?" worry lines appearing on her forehead and her expression changed as well.  

[Makensy Frost]

Phoebe had been smiling until Meggie had asked her question, then a frown appeared on her face. "For being as old as I am, and for being what I am. It's bound to happen quite a few times. But don't worry, I knew I would have problems finding love the moment I became a vampire. At the time I was heart broken, so I didn't care.. But now." She sighed.

"Now you've got Josh." she said blankly staring into the water.  

[Makensy Frost]

"Ah, Josh." She smiled, "Handsome, hot, and a great kisser. But.." Her eyes softened. "It's obvious he's in love with that one girl back at the ice cream shop. After we kissed, I talked to him about it. Told him he should ask her out soon other wise she'll give up on him. I told him that they're meant to be." Laughing, Phoebe stared up at the sky. "I suppose I should have told you that part." Looking over at Meggie, she held a smile. "But it's okay, I'll find the man for me some day. Now, I'd say let's go for a swim, but my lotion and spray will come off.. I should have put the water proof stuff on today."

"We could run back to the dorms and get some if you'd like. We'd also need swimsuits and towels. You are a super-speedy vamp you could go do that like ubber quick." she said smiling.  

[Makensy Frost]

"Ah, yes. Speedy and strong. If you want I'll carry you to your dorm so you can get ready and I'll get my things ready, and then I'll pick you back up and bring us both back here." She smiled back. "Sound like a plan?"
