Master and Slave

A week later a timid knock sounded against his door. Hotaru stood on the other side, she wore a light red sun dress that fit her well and had ties for straps. Matching sandals tied around her calves and a ribbon wound through her hair kept it pulled back and out of her face. She had done her make up and even painted her nails, though her head was ducked and she fidgeted with a ribbon from her dress.  

[Roccano]

Kai had been depressed all week and last night was the first night in a while he had been able to sleep, the purple rings under his eyes having been removed through the amount of sleep he had, but still looked pretty bad when he came to the door and when he saw Hotaru he was surprised.
"Hotaru?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru chewed her lip hard enough that the bottom lip was slightly swollen. "I....." She floundered for a moment before simply shooting forward and wrapping her arms around his waist in a tight hug.  

[Roccano]

He staggered backwards slightly, surprised by the hug and then looked down at her for a few seconds and then wrapped his arms around her.
"Im sorry....."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru shook her head against his chest. "I was mean! Gomen I didn't mean it." She sniffled.  

[Roccano]

He tightened his grip on her and then pulled away and then looked down at her.
"I didnt think you were going to come back."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru pulled away and shrugged. "I thought you would be better off if you just found a new slave, someone who was what you already wanted." She still had her head ducked and refused to meet his eyes. "But I miss you."  

[Roccano]

He sighed and then moved her head to meet her eyes with his.
"Hotaru, I wouldnt pick a new slave, if I were even able to.
You are everything I want to have in a person."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru sniffled and chewed on her lip again. "I-I went shopping..." She pointed out as she blushed brightly. "And I-I stood up to the girls at school." She winced a bit. "It hurt......alot."  

[Roccano]

He looked at her as his eyes went wide.
"You did what now?
What did they do?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru pouted. "I thought you wanted me to stand up to them." She reminded him. "I was going to come see you sooner but the doctor wouldn't let me leave till today."  

[Roccano]

He looked down at her and then went to the couch and sat down.
"I did, but while I was there so I could help you if you needed it."
He looked up at her.
"What happened?
Can you tell me?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru nodded and sat down on the coffee table infront of him. "I stood up to them in art class on Monday and they attacked me in Gym two days ago." She told him. "Broke three ribs and dislocated my wrist." She told him as she pointed out the small brace on her wrist. "The bruises healed pretty fast though."  

[Roccano]

He frowned lightly.
"So you stood up to them, and they didnt like it.
What happened to them?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru frowned and looked away as she fidgeted with her dress again. "Nothing." She answered. "They didn't get caught and it was only my word that they had done it. Apparently I passed out cause they found me near the stairs and thought I just fell."
