More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

As Shane's right arm whips Amanda and Trinity it hit Amanda's arm and leg causing her to fall on her side, it was completely unexpected to her. It almost threw Trinity off as well but she was able to keep going. Amanda gave up, she was getting in too deep and the rain came down. As it poured Trinity's green eyes glow with determination prepared to avoid his next shot.

Shane pulls back and retracts the limb. The and flesh that is on it is quickly absorbed by the biomass. Shane growls to the women behind him, "Get in the car, we're going."

With intense logic, Shane states exactly why this is so to Trinity.

"You are going to let us leave Trinity. The machine screwed up when it came up with this plan. With this many meta-humans out in the open it is only a matter of time before Daedalus zeroes in on this area. Either you continue your fruitless attempt and capturing me, and have a small army storm the school. Or you let me go to find me another day, and save the lives of all these innocent people."

Nodding once, Annie ran to the Jeep and slid into the passenger seat. It looked like the escape could actually happen without anyone else getting killed. She leaned back her head and briefly sighed with relief, as she waited for Shane and the three sisters to get into the car.

What Shane said hit Trinity at her core. She knew that it was a matter of time before the Daedalus Project would come in response to all the meta-signatures. She looks back at the complex. Then she looks back Shane with a look that said 'I hate it when you're right'. She hate to let the bad guy get away, and she really did not have enough left in her for a real fight with she didn't have a good strategy. She was thinking she could where him down beat him up until her troops get here. But that would only cause his hunger to rise, and unfortunatly when Daedalus tried that it got then killed. There was no winning move to this. Despite all his newly attained abilities logic was still his most powerful.

On the other hand if he continues, there are all the people who are not metas he could feed on. Could she really let him walk off? Annie was still with him hopefully that will count for something. Trinity took one more good look at the vehicle they are in especially the liscence plate, " K1L3RZ" it read, ironic she thought.

It was obvious that she didn't want to say this,"Alright Shane, you win. Be aware though I'll be on your tail once this is cleared." she picks up Amanda who was unconcious from the fall, she must have hit her head when she fell. She carries Amanda over her shoulder and brings out her smart phone and got on the channel "Troops get into position Alpha C" this meant that the troops would surround the perimitor. She walks back toward the facility. Gidget would not be happy with what she had to do but hopefully she will understand the decision she made. Right now Trinity needed to focus on restoring her energy, or as her teachers once called it, chi.

Shane doesn't smile, he doesn't smirk, or even give a hint of enjoyment from being set free. He just nods to Trinity's threat and steps back into the drivers seat. He shuts the door and waits for the sisters to climb into the back seats.

"So honey, what is your power anyway if I may ask? Is that okay with you?"Liv asked the young girl now that she was relaxed.

"Okay..." She said shyly. "Miss Gidget said something about ani...animation?"

"You can animate things? You mean bringing them to life?" Liv asked enthusiastically. This was unexpected and it really sparked her interest.

"Y-yes..." The girl said and brought out her little pony doll. Placing it in her hand it began to move and behave like an actually playful horse before she put it away again.

"That's wonderful dear! It's a very special power. You should be thankful."

"No! I hate it! T-they...took mommy and daddy because of it!" The girl shouted out and began to cry." I hate it. I want my mommy and daddy back. I don't want this.!"

Liv gritted her teeth. She really felt for the girl. The meteor shower took away her life. Everything that she loved and forced her to live here. She understood what the girl felt. But...that could all change. Liv could help this girl get rid of her powers. Draining them would help her so much. But the girl needed to stay quiet on that or she could blow this entire operation. It didn't take Liv long to decide between the mission and the girl. The girl came first.

The woman placed her hand on the young girl's head and looked at her with a warm smile." I can help you with that. Dry those tears and I can make those bad powers go away. I cannot bring back your mommy and daddy but I can help you get away from this all. But.....this will be our little secret okay? Nobody can ever know about this okay? If people find out your big sister here would be in danger and get taken away by those bad men. Do you want me to help you?"

The girl instantly turned around and nodded rapidly. She hugged Liv tightly and that was exactly what Liv wanted her to do. She wrapped her arms around the girl like a mother would do when holding a child. This protective side of hers was new to even her.

The sensation the draining gives was different with each person. Usually it feels cold but this time it was warm. Perhaps because the girl wanted her to drain her powers.

As she was doing this the announcement came that it was safe to go back inside. Instantly all the people from the tents started to leave. Everything went perfect. Nobody would even suspect anything like this. Now she looked like she was just a woman comforting a young child. In a way she was. When Liv finished the tent was a whole lot more empty. She slowly let go of the girl and told her to move along with the rest of the people and that Liv would come for her later on.

Trinity arrived at the complex, a content expression came across her face as she sees her troops in position. She tries her best to not let her weakness show but it was very difficult, yet she had sweat on her brow. She passes Amanda over to one of the medical nurses on stand by, "Please...*ahem*...Take good care of her alright?" her voice sounded worn and tired. She was tempted to go with them as well but work had to be done.

She tries to compose herself finds her captain. "Captain, I need to report Gidget." she let out a little sigh, "Unfortunately Shane... got away... I'm afraid we have more pressing matters at hand." she coughs and continued with a worn voice," Daedalus Project, I'm certain has detected all the meta-signatures that were out here just now and are probably on their way already. Make sure final preparations are made for the Alpha-C formation and I'll return as quickly as I can." What she meant by final preparations was having the earth and ice metas build walls of thorns and spikes.

Trinity goes in with heavy steps. She rather deliver this news in person instead of digitally. She makes her way to Gidget's lab, she hopes she has restored enough power for the up coming battle. she leans against the door trying to relax a little.

When Trinity arrives, Gidget is sitting up in a chair. She is still plugged into the feeding apparatus, and is looking worse for wear. She has let her artificial hair down, hoping to hide the twitches and glitches that are still somewhat prevalent in her speech and expressions.

She turns her head and looks up at Trinity. She studies her friend's expression and says flatly (mostly due to her still not being able to incorporate her learned emotions fluxes just yet), "You look like you've got some bad news for me."

The words with that tone stung her a little. She looks to her straight in her artificial eyes, "It's Shane... I couldn't capture him...I tried everything I could...Annie is with him though. Perhaps not all hope is lost... she seemed to try to direct his hunger toward the people of the Daedalus Project. There may be some time before he strikes again..." things begin to fade to black she tries fighting back by keeping her eyes opened. "no... not ye-" She falls to the ground fainting out of exhaustion.

With a plain expression and tone, she shouts something in protest that really isn't a word. She shoots out of her chair and runs to Trinity, ripping the feeding tubes out of the device. A viscous liquid starts to spray and leak onto the ground, but Gidget doesn't care. She drops down next to Trinity and sits her up.

She gently taps her friend's face, trying desperately to add some emotion to her tone but unable to. "Trinity, Trinity wake up. C'mon I need you awake."

They entered the car and took their seats, clicking their seat belts in place one by one. Silence had fallen over the three as none to them felt anything needed to be said. They didn't know everyone here seemed so.. close. It was strange really, and that was perhaps what caused them to be so quite. They were outsiders, not that it really bothered them. Jezebel sighed softly as Lia laid her head on her older sister's shoulder, and closed her eyes to rest.

Shane drives to the limits of Knoxburg. He pulls over to a Goodwill and finds some clothes for himself. He figured stealing those clothes would be better than staying in the body of a dead man for what is left of their trip.

Not much later, Shane can feel fatigue setting in. He decides it would be best to pull over for the night, give the girls a chance to rest and for him to possibly break away from Annie and find something to consume.

He pulls the car into a small motel and addresses the ladies in the vehicle with him. "We're going to stop here for the night. I know this probably wont settle well with you Jezebel, but I'm going to need you and your sisters to pretend that you are my kids. Annie here will be your step mother. This way we avoid suspicion. This also means we are going to have to share a large room between the five of us. Any questions?"

He doesn't give any of them an opportunity to answer before he exits the vehicle and goes into the lobby, the hood from his sweater pulled over his head. His attitude and temper are steadily becoming worse the longer he goes without feeding.

Gidget picks up Trinity and sets her in a recliner that leans back the moment Trinity is placed in it. Gidget starts to scan Trinity's vitals as she gives Kerana some directions.

"There is a cabinet over on that wall, it has some Kanji on it. It's something the shadow twins came up with in case of an emergency like this."
