Has anyone heard from cbc recently?
Hm..
I guess I'll complain..
By mid June I will be moving 1300 miles south to Houston. I don't mind the house. It's very beautiful but the school system is just something I'm not willing to put up with.
I've decide to do research and apparently my options for high schools are filled with high drop out rates and low state wide rating..
Currently my high school is ranked 9th in my state according to this one site. While the one I have to attend in August is no even in the top 50 for Texas. Quite sad.. I have to say..
I don't think I'm going to deal with the getting to school by 7:30am. I used to do that from K-8 grade but now at my current high school I have to be in class by 8:10. While at the future one school ends at around 4pm and my current one ends at 2:40pm.
ninja They have 8 periods.. ninja
While we have 5 periods but we go by trimesters which gives us more time to learn and do more per classes.
ninja I don't think I want to blow my senior year in dealing with any of that.
ninja
Classes begin at the last two week of August there while here it begins in after labor day normally. ninja In Houston I think they end sometime in late May but we end on the second week of June and I think we do have more breaks than them.. ninja
0___0 I think I'll just rip up the registration form infront of the administration there if they make me take another year of math (Beacuse they don't offer integrated math down there and I took that instead of algebra, geometrt and algebra two) or dare to cut my credits in half or refuse to transfer them or make me take any of that state required tests...
Simple way to put it.. New school= A total insult to intellgence..
Just beacuse the state's overall education rating is 24th while mine is 6th.
(Indeed I'm not good with major changes)
Okay bitchy Dasg rant done..
