More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Welcome back Tansy." Theonis simply replied. He wished Angel would have stayed longer. No use dwelling on that thought."Ako went out to look for Gidget. And judging by this alarm. Things are pretty messed up right now. It's safer to leave." Theonis said but followed Tansy regardless.

"I can't just leave my friends when they are in trouble!" She snapped at him, but stopped and frowned. "It's what I did last time. And I'm not the kind of person to make the same mistake twice. If you're so worry, you leave, and I'll find him myself."

Justine turned towards the man with a frown. "W-who are you?" She pressed her hands together, trying to apply pressure to the bleeding cut on her palm. She tried to make her body relax, but doing so caused her eyes to slip open and she cried out in pain once more. She dug the heels of her hands into her eyes. "Where is Deora? What's going on?" her voice was full of pain and fear.

She was hurt, cut and bloodied. When her eyes opened he saw a little bit of Gidget's handiwork, but could barely stifle a flinch as she cried out in pain. "My name is Ako, I'm an old friend of Gidget's." He said, doing his best to keep his voice soft as he gently took hold of her wrists. "Deora went to get some help, and she'll be right back, okay? Let me see your hands, I can bandage them up for you."

Gidget shakes her head and sighs, "That's the thing, I'm not sure. It's only a theory, but what if they have someone in here that they don't want to chance killing? Or maybe they don't want to attack us just yet...aw Hell I don't know"

She goes back to her chair and sits down. Little by little there is more humanity coming through her voice and expressions. "I need to rest for a bit more. My God Trinity I never want to feel that again. It was like I was losing traction with the world, and I was just starting to float away. I never thought about it, but if I ever come across a meta-human that can cancel out powers...I'm going to die."

Shane smirks and says, "I'm not going with you, remember? You're going with me to be my little Jiminy Cricket. Besides, there are things I am after there too. So don't worry your pretty little head about it, okay?"

Justine gasped when she felt the man grabbed her. She pulled away from him, but then paused. "I'm sorry. I'm just a little jumpy." She sighed softly as she held out her hand to him. "It's just that my head is pounding for the alarm and my eyes burn..."

Annie raised a brow at what Shane said. "I know what I'm after in the Daedalus Project HQ, but what are you after?"

"How do you even know they are in trouble?! Isn't the most logical thing to do running away from danger instead of going towards it? But you know what maybe I should just leave. It's stupid to worry about you since you obviously don't care about the possible danger." Theonis spat back. He was getting tired of it. All he had been doing today is just being with Angel and trying to help. But was obvious that Tansy didn't want any of that.

Shane's eyes say that even he isn't completely sure. "Answers...retribution...I don't know. Something is drawing me there. Until you told me I wasn't sure where there was."

Shane never knew why it was he was chosen to be their maiden voyage, their prototype. He wants to know why. Why did they make him like this? Was it intentional, and have they done it to anyone else since.

He halfheartedly smiles at Annie and says, "C'mon, we should get to sleep. My body's metabolism is much slower when I am sleeping, and I could use a none gas induced sleep."

Annie nodded and said as she led the way to the room she said with her back to him, "I should tell you that I haven't been completely open to why I want to go back to the Daedalus Project HQ. There is an experiment that I want to... well kidnap along with seeking my revenge."

Turning around at the room's door, she smiled at him, "I hope that isn't a problem."

Ako looked over the damage, glad to see only one hand was hurt. "Well, I have something for your hand and your head, but I don't think I have anything for your eyes." He said. He let go of her hands and unshouldered his backpack, quickly pulling out a canvas bag with a big red cross on it's face. Within about a minute he had her hand cleaned and bandaged, and pressed a packaged moist towelette snagged from some barbecue place out west into her good hand. "You can use that to clean up the blood on your face while I find the aspirin, okay?"

Shane shakes his head. "With all the things that I have done, kidnapping is small potatoes. Just so long as it doesn't interfere with my tasks we'll be just peachy."

Shane walks past her and opens the door, half expecting Liadan to pounce him with a big hug at this point.

Deora returned the hug, laughing a bit at Kerana's reaction. "I'm fine Kerana. I even managed to save this one guy, but I lost Justine, can you help me find her?"

And pounce on him she did. Lia smiled brightly as she placed her finger in front of her lips. "Shhh." She hushed softly as she pointed to Jezebel and Kali who sat on the small couch, laying over each other. "They were SOOOO tried they just fell asleep!" She smiled brightly twisting her body back and forth as she grinned.

Trinity nodded as Gidget pointed out that she wasn't sure about the mole theory. Before, due to the tone of her voice it was a little difficult to tell when she mentioned it was something confirmed or a theory.

Her face grew with concern as Gidget made this realization. She really wouldn't know what she would do if something happened to Gidget. She holds Gidget close to her and hugs her tight, "I'm not going to let that happen without a fight. They'll have to go through hell first." She and Gidget became really close friends over the past 13 years. Gidget is now the closest thing she has to family right now and she would do anything to protect her.
