Hasaii nodded to Kerana as she left, then fell back on the bed and sighed. He stared at the door for a few seconds, then got up and followed out. No matter how much anybody knew, they never knew everything. But, better to have false hope then no hope at all. And as he listened, that false hope became not just hope, but a slight anger and confirmation. It was that dark b*****d who murdered his people, and he would pay. He took a second to look into each of their eyes before straightening himself out and walking forwards. "I'm sorry." He simply began. "I've been nothing but a coward and a fool since my arrival here--- No, ever since it happened. I tried to block it out of my mind, pretend it had never happened, and it weakened me." He continued as he walked towards the group, eventually standing among them. "But it seems like I've finally found a ray of light in the fog and darkness. And for that I thank you. So please..." He stopped and took a moment to look into each of their eyes before bowing. "Please lend me your strength to return the favor to he who has lived for too long." He asked as he relaxed and stood up straight again. "Tonight, make yourselves at home. Tomorrow, I will lead you to the spring."

"I've been down that road too. I can verify for certain if that same blacksmith if we can find a weapon that was used." Trinity yawned and stretched "The wind exercises kind of wore me out. I'm surprised Alec is still out there practicing."

Trinity looked at Nova and then Hasaii, "If you will excuse me gentlemen. I'm going to grab some shut eye." She entered the room where she would be spending the night. After securing her weapons she placed her armor and garb folded at the end of the bed. Wearing only her tunic she took a moment to try her best to clear her mind and have a moment of mental silence, meditating. Even though she had been able to rest better since the rest of the group found her she still had the nightmares that continue to haunt her. Every time she tried to forget, tried to not let it get to her, her past still surfaces reminding her of the failure that day.

A tear streaks down her cheek as she leaned toward the pillow. It reminded her of the times her father came home drunk, and she could do nothing to protect her mother. She exhaled knowing that it was that situation that made her decide that she would learn how to protect not only herself but others as well. Perhaps this is what this predetermined destiny has brought her... a chance to save people and maybe... a chance to see him once more. She liked the sound of that last thought, to perhaps throw in the towel once all has been fulfilled. Perhaps then she could finally rest in peace.

Nova listened to Hasaii. He knew he had his circumstances and chose not to pry. And now he seemed to have opened up more to the group. That's good. The more they bond the further they could be pushed if it came down to it. Nova preferred not to let it come to that but every scenario had to be covered.

Nova gave the man a nod." Very well my feathered friend." He took a few pieces of fruit from the bowl. "I will be on guard duty tonight. I will not waste my time sleeping. Not in this state. So unless you wish to join me, I suggest you also rest."

Hasaii gave a small smile. It felt good to finally have people who had his back, people who understood him, people who he could actually trust. He nodded as Trinity said she was headed off to sleep, and bid her goodnight. Next, Kerana went out to find Alec. That left Nova, who told him to either get some rest or stay up with him for guard duty. As much as it was somewhat pointless in these jungles, he remembered that his allies weren't of the Valkyrie type. He gave a small chuckle, then turned and faced Nova. "I'll stay up for a bit, what the heck." He said as he moved to join him.

Nova gave him that same nod with a smile smile." Good I was hoping for a chance to get to talk to you."

He created 5 orbs on his finger tips and sent them out into the forest. As they did before they will alert him if anybody is out there. Nova let out a sigh. Hasaii may have said he was the one who lived too long but he really had no idea how Nova was.

"This really used to be a beautiful place. I remember sitting in that tree a lot while I could barely fly. When I was born as a Valkyrie I had weak wings. I guess I wasn't as blessed as I am now. But somehow there was this boy that like me." Nova paused, realizing it may sound strange since he was a guy in this life.
"I had a good life here." He chuckled." I just may be one of your ancestors."

He stopped walking and looked up to the sky." Say...you know the story of the Exiled god?"

Hasaii was confused when Nova began talking about him being amongst Hasaii's kind. Just as he was about to call it a lie, Nova clarified it by saying it was possible that he may have been one of Hasaii's ancestors. What? How? Wha..? But then Nova changed the subject, so he figured to just save his questions for later maybe. "That depends on which god we're talking about. Just in case, enlighten me. We'll be here for a while." He replied with a grin.

"Long ago when this world was not yet formed, the gods ruled. Infinite beings as they were, they drifted without purpose. One of them had an idea. They joined together to create this world. It was an empty world.So they created the ocean,followed by land and the sky. It was their garden their playground." Nova explained.

"There are many stories of bored gods toying with people for fun but these gods were incapable of such thoughts. They wanted to watch time pass in their new world. Lands changed, mountains grew and valleys were formed over time. But...the world was still missing something. The world was beautiful but static. It needed something more. Life." Nova continued.

"Each God created a race with the help of on particular God. That God could not make his own intelligent life. Only some sort of two legged and armed creature . And so most of the races were born.The Dragon-kin, Fox-kin,Wolves, Valkyrie. All the races except for humans. And their world was perfect. The Gods were at peace."

"But that one God felt something he had not felt before. It gave birth to the negative emotions. Something that wasn't present on the newly formed world and certainly not within those races. It affected that God as well. So the jealous God took small bits from all the races and merged it with his creation. Humankind was born. But it had left all the other races incomplete. It left them open for all the negative emotions that the God gave birth to. The God's garden was ruined. When the other Gods found out they exiled that God. Cursed that God to walk for all eternity on the world that he had ruined himself.."

Remembering Alec was still out there Kerana decided to head out. She watched him as he practiced with the wind. It seemed to come naturally to him and he seemed very confident with it. She didn't want to disturb him while he was practicing and so she decided to wait a moment.

"Excuse me child, how long will this take?... Also I was beginning to wonder if the Valkyrie had a loved one among the dead. It may work better if I was disguised as her to really mess with their heads... Is it possible to figure that out?" Shara continues to look at herself in the mirror, frowning a little that her hair is now a brunette color instead of the radiant blond it once was, yet measures had to be taken.

Alec was actually enjoying himself as he practiced with the leaves around him. It soothed him. For the first time in a while it felt like he had little to be concerned with.

Then he smelled a familiar smell. A lovely scent. He turned to great Kerana, but he had also forgotten about his little gust. It swirled toward the little fox-kin.

The child considered ignoring the chattering woman before realizing that she probably wouldn't be quiet if he did.

Dismissively the child uttered, "It will take as long as it has too, and how am I supposed to know if the Valkyrie has any loved ones. I thought finding and subverting weaknesses was your special...we are not alone."

The child looked in the direction of the disturbance it felt. The presence was large and threatening.

Shara grew concerned as she looked at the child noticing something in the distance. She got off the horse and asked, "Child? What is it? Is something wrong?"

Kerana's eyes met his and was kind of caught off guard by the swirling gust of wind. "Whoops!" her skirt lifted a little and she had to hold it down while the rest fluttered. She whispered something which got carried in the wind and ended with "dispell" which caused the swirling to stop. Her eyes continued to look toward where Alec's would be under his bangs. The moon was full hanging in the sky making it a beautiful night to share under the stars. "Looks that wind stuff is coming along…it looks like you were enjoying yourself, I didn't want to interrupt your concentration." A moment passed between them she looked up to the sky and said "It's a beautiful night out huh?"

The child made a face and turned toward the presence he felt. "Come out Valkyrie guardian. I know you're there. There's no point in stalking prey that is aware of you."

Alec blushed considerably when Kerana's dress lifted. He was glad she caught it in time. He was pretty sure he'd have fallen unconscious if he had gotten a peek at her unmentionables.

"Yea...it's going okay." He mumbled in regards to her comment.

He was glad she took the initiative to break the silence. He knew he shouldn't have been surprised. She was always the one who broke the silence between them.

He looked up at the full moon and the stars that seemed to dance in it's light. Even though he wasn't a werewolf, the full moon still brought up sensations of a more wild nature. He took a deep, slow breath and drew in the cool night air. He let it out slowly, attempting to calm himself and carry on something of a conversation with Kerana.

"Now that you mention it, yea. It really is nice." he said with an awkward smile.

Hasaii listened to Nova go on with his story. T'was interesting, and sounded quite familiar to one of the Valkyrie legends. What he didn't get, however, was why Nova was telling him this now, of all times. "Does this have anything to do with the current events?" Hasaii asked, before shivering. He looked out towards the forest rim. "Something's wrong."

Meanwhile, in another part of the jungle, Kajoko leaped out from the forest plantation, jaws wide open and headed straight for the neck of the horse that had accompanied the two strangers. Cutting through it's flesh like hot metal through butter, the horse dropped quickly to the ground. And without ever touching the ground, Kajoko landed in front of the two invaders, standing on one side of a line of blood that was drawn on the ground. "You will not be leaving this place. Or, not without returning to the rotten states from which you've come!" He yelled as he growled at the two, teeth shinning like polished silver.
