Courtyard (South)

[Lysine]

"Niam? Niam! Niam, Wait! Hold on! No! Wait! Please!"
She broke down in tears. She had thought something like this might happen. I mean, '"Niam, I love you. You're going to have to deal with it, becuase I just love you. I can't help it. " '
Don't you think that's kind of sudden?

[Kallio]

Niam turned back, "maybe she was kidding..." he thought. It wasn't very likely, especialy since she was now crying, but he turned back, just in case. "What? I'm waiting."

[Lysine]

"If you don't love me, than maybe we could just be friends? It's better than nothing...."
she said, sniffling a little.
Her eyes flashed white for a second, then returned to gold, then changed to a beautiful purply-blue color.  

[Kallio]

"I'm sorry," Niam said "I really am, but I don't love you. We can be friends, though. "You're my first friend at Ria High School." He hoped this would cheer her up, because he did like Ginerva, he just didn't love her.

Hiro soared into the courtyard, wings pushing him quickly forward. In his arms, he held Yuki tightly to him, taking care not to hurt her. He laughed as he glanced down, seeing she was clinging fearfully to his shirt. "Everything ok?" he asked softly.

Yuki stared up at him, eyes wide. "N-no, it's not!" she stammered, and then shut her eyes again. Her long hair was swirling around them, like streamers in the wind. "Put me down, you know I'm afraid of heights!" Her tail had wrapped itself around her leg, as if suddenly afraid of hanging lose.

Hiro just laughed again but nodded as well as he slowed his pace. Slowly, he let himseld descend slowly to the ground, coming to a complete stop as his feet touched near the fountain. After a moment he shifted Yuki in his grasp and then let her stand. His arms hovered around her until he was sure she wasn't going to fall. Then he stepped back.

Yuki wobbled for a moment but regained her balance and let herself sit at the edge of the fountain. She breathed out in relief and then stared at her reflection in the water. Her sad eyes stared back at her and she sighed, dashing the picture with her hand.

Hiro jumped slightly as she did this and slowly walked towards her. "What are you doing?" he asked as he sat down next to her by the fountain. "Is something wrong?"

Yuki stared at him for a moment and then sighed, bowing her head. "No, everything's fine..." she murmured.

Hiro frowned, knowing it certainly was not fine, but didn't press her further. Instead he just remained silent, also watching the water in the fountain. Then his eyes roamed the courtyard. "This place is pretty big, yeah?"

Yuki nodded, raising her head slightly so she could look around as well. "...yeah," she agreed after a moment. "It is big. Makes me feel pretty small..."

Hiro laughed, throwing a playful arm around her shoulders. "It's just a new territory for us to explore!" he cried and then grinned. "You know what? I'm hungry again."

A small smile formed on Yuki's lips as she watched him, and she laughed quietly, despite her reddened face. "Return to the lounge?" she asked and then added quickly, "And no flying this time!"

Hiro laughed, withdrawing his arm and leaping to his feet. His wings stretched behind him and then folded against his back. "Oh, fine..." he muttered teasingly and then grabbed her hand, ushering her to her feet. "Well, come on! I'm interested to see what kind of food this place has." Yuki smiled and allowed him to lead her back to the student lounge.  

[Nefidean]

Nefidean had wondered in from the playground, obvious disorriented as she dusted the chared dirt from her pant legs. "I don't think this is where I was heading... was it..." She thought to her self as she unfolded the map again. She had gotten tired of pulling it out of her bag and put it back all the time. The campus was so huge, and every time she turned around she was lost yet again.

She sighed poundering over the map. "They need to make noob-prof maps. I mean this place is as confusing as it is." She muttered as she got a horrid idea into her mind. "Wait... what if it's just me.... great, I'll be the first person at Ria High who can't find their way out of a wet paper bag." She sighed studdying the map agian.  

[Nefidean]

Nefidean continued to wonder around the south part of the campus marking every place she went to on her map. It was getting later into the night and there weren't many students out. She began to get frighten a bit. "What if they close the dorms before I get there.... does that mean I'm going to have to sleep outside?" wondered aloud. "Though that wouldn't be the frist time if you ask me."

She sighed and tried to keep her self calm saying things like "They wouldn't lock me out in the cold." or "Maybe the dorm's right around the cornner." Still she couldn't help but fidget as she looked down at her map again. Surely there had to be some one around who could at lest point her in the right direction. "I hate new schools..." She grumbled to her self as she sulked.  

[Nefidean]

Nefi sighed as she laid the map out on the ground and took out a black marker. "Okay Nefi... Let the map guide you to where you shall go. Where ever the pen mark lends, the closest land mark is where you shall be." She mumbled to her self holding the pen over the map tip down as she let it go.

She opend one eye as if to see if the close was clear before kneeling down over the map to see where she was going. "The Library? Are they even open this time of night?" Oh well if all else fails... they'll surely have a better map... or at lest the librain will be able to direct me to some place better." She sighed, plotting her best route.  

[Angellea]

Back where she started, almost ironic. She sat under the tree she met Kitten under and leaned against it. Her eyes closed slowly. So tired... she thought. She tried to keep her eyes open but no matter how much she tried she just failed. Finally, she gave up, snuggling into the tree and falling into a light sleep. She dreamt of her past again, only a happier time.

Her first friend sat beside her on the swings. "I bet I can jump farther!" he said laughing. "You`re so on!" Angellea said, swinging higher. The two of them went higher and higher until he let go and jump a few feet in front of them. Not wanting to seem like a chicken, she joined him, landing a few inches behind him...on her face. As she got up, her face covered in mud, they looked at each other. He began to laugh hard as she tried to clean off her face. He crawled over on all fours and helped her as they both began to giggle. "I am glad you are my best friend," he said, flashing her an innocent smile, one baby tooth gone. She tackled him hugging him and giggling. "Cooties!" he shouted.

She rolled over sliding more to the ground, until finally she was completely on the ground in the dirt and grass.

Moroi sighed, violet eyes wanting to be drawn skywards, having to be forced to look ahead of the fifteen-year-old, for the sake of not getting a mouthful of grass and whatever else would go from the ground to his mouth and more likely than not, he would accidentally swallow something. After fighting the urge to stare at the sky while walking, the neko came upon the Saya and Truinis statue in the center of it.

'I'm surprised that I didn't notice that ealier...' He thought, stepping over to it and alowing his gaze to be pulled upward, despite the fact that his legs would tire out if he ended up staying there for an extended period of time, something that was bound to happen.

 

[Kaku-chan]

Kohana looked around, silently walking about the court yard. She smiled softly, feeling much for comfortable outside then she was in. Her blond hair swished behind her as she explored her new school.
Then she saw something that caught her attention. It was a large fountain. She gave a small gasp and hurried over to it. She gazed in wonder at the statue, standing there a few minutes in awe. That's when she noticed another boy, standing on the other side. She was about it say hello, but her voice died in her throat. She still didn't feel like she fit in and she hadn't really talked to anyone at the school yet.

Despite having a strong sence of hearing, Moroi was never really one to notice when someone would approach, unless it was directly in front of him. He broke the hypnosis the sky had cast upon him and looked over at the girl who'd newly arrived near the statue. One of his illusion-hidden ears turned down in curiosity.

'Another neko?' The thought ran through his mind as well as a slew of questions until he realized that he was staring at her blankly and the illusion had been on the point of wavering.

"Ah, sorry. I space off sometimes." Moroi took a sloppily hurried bow, coming up smiling brightly. "My name's Moroi Ikshi, by-the-way."

 

[Kaku-chan]

Although she had felt him starring at her, she refused to look at him before she could hear his footsteps coming nearer to her. She glanced over him once and she couldn't help but find something firmilar about him, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

She starred at him a moment, trying to find something else to say, but she had no luck. So she simply offered him a sweet smile and said," Nice to meet you, Moroi Ikshi. I'm Kohana Arakawa."

"Pleasure to meet you, Kohana Arakawa." He bowed in a more correct manner, illusion flickering as he stood back up. He hissed quietly, ears drawn back in irritation. His ears stood back up, now completely invisible, as he sat with his back against the rim of the fountain's base.

Violet gaze was drawn back to the large skybridge, something that was blocking off the clouds a bit, which kind of bothered Moroi, but not as much as other things would.
