Episode 45, after Roy came out of that large room after confronting the Fuhrer. Riza ran up to him and wiped his forehead of the sweat, and it was so sweet. <33

Chapter 56 of the manga, when he was all worried that she had gotten hurt.

I am now seriously convinced that Hiromu Arakawa is going to give them some sort of romantic relationship now. It really looks like Riza is a hostage to get Roy to be a "human sacrifice" and he's always so worried about her. *sniff of happiness*

I like the episode when... well, here is how it goes.

Hughes: Oh, and... by the way...
Roy: Yes?
Hughes: Get married!
Roy: Shut up! -Slams the phone-
Riza: Please put the phone down quietly, Colonel.

I love it how she speaks right after Hughes says 'Get Married' xD

All the hints in the manga and anime scream "ROYXRIZA" in big red letters! I especially loved episode 37. That was hilarious. And that apple thing. =D

Dunno if you would really necessarily call it a royai moment, but...in the second novel (read, NOVEL), there's this one part where some guy throws all this stuff at the military. And he *coughs* just so happens to throw a huge box at Riza. Roy's all "Watch out!", grabs her and pushes her behind him, raising his hand to snap. Then she's all like, "wait, don't!" and clings to his back and he, distracted, stumbles, and Ed ends up cutting the box up before it hits them. Then, it turns out that the box was really full of high explosives, so if roy lit it up...BOOM! Then where would we royai lovers be? sweatdrop

roy is laying in bed and riza is plealing an apple nealing at the bed (this is after his big fight) and he says ****somethingsomethingsomething*******and that's what makes the world so damn beautifull and strokes riza's hair then riza blushes and shove a apple slice in his mouth, and he's still looks at her smiling.

I love that part....the anime does have some cute moments. (Although I like the manga better sweatdrop ^_^)

Am I the only one who thought the apple scene was symbolic, or there was somthing he left unsaid but implied?

"Nothing's perfect. The *world's not perfect. But it's there for us, trying the best it can. That's why it's so damn beautiful."

And he strokes her hair. Roy Mustang has a hair fetish! XDDD

*= (I think maybe he's implying "MY WORLD", meaning Riza)

But if you think about it, at least to me, the underlying meaning was that he was talking about her.

Roy: "What's the frown for?"
Riza: "The plan was perfect. You did your part. But I should have gotten there sooner to protect you"

Roy: "Nothing's perfect. The world's not perfect. But it's there for us, trying the best it can. That's why it's so damn beautiful."

I think he was implying "just like you" in relevance to the comment about the world. Otherwise, it wound't have made much sense, right?

Which makles more sense in the situation? Which is more comforting? And if he didn't mean the second one, then why did he touch her hair? And why did Riza's eyes soften? They can probably read each other so well that she knew exacly what he meant.

And in Japanese, the final lines run a bit different.

J. Riza: Colonel... Colonel...! *heartwrenching tone* ROY MUSTANG!
E. Riza: General... *shakier tone* General... Damnit Roy Mustang, talk to me!

J. Roy: ...beautiful.
J. Riza: *smiles*
E. Roy: ...damn beautiful
E. Riza: *smiles* Just shut up and eat.
