Master and Slave

[Roccano]

Kai smiled at the barber and then sat her down in one of their chairs and slipped the book out of her hands.

"Now then, while your in here, im going to find you a surprise.
Ill be right back."

He nodded to the barber to tell her to start and then she tilted the chair back and started washing her hair

Hotaru had yelped when her book was taken and protested. She pouted at him as he left then yelped and flailed a bit as the woman suddenly tipped her back.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed and then looked at the title and then threw the burned book away before heading to the book store to buy her another.
She had a paperback and he wanted to get her a hardcover version.

Hotaru blinked at the mirror and pouted. The woman hadn't stopped at just a trim. She had layered the girls hair so that it fell away from her face, even in a sloppy pigtail it didn't look as messy as it had before because of the way it was cut.  

[Roccano]

Kai came back with the book and frowned at the way her hair was cut.

"I said just a trim, not go hog wild."

He sighed and put his hand up before she could say anything, paid the woman and then pulled her out of the shop and handed her the book.

"Sorry, I didnt think she would go that far."

Hotaru eyed the book and turned it over in her hands. "Where is my other one?" She asked him as she opened the book to the page she had been reading and started where she had left off. She was a little unnerved at having her hair cut so that everyone could see her face clearly. She like the way her hair was because it kept her hidden.  

[Roccano]

Kai looked at her and sighed.

"I threw it away in that trash can over there, why?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru blinked at him. "You threw it away!" She yelled after a moment and rushed over to the trash can and groaned as she realized it was beyond retrieval. She frowned at him. "That's a book. And abused book, but still a book. You never throw away books." She was horribly attached to all her books, keeping them in place of friends.  

[Roccano]

Kai sighed.

"Hotaru, books are not meant to replace people, if you live with books all your life, you will feel empty inside, and no one wants that, even if you dont like your hair, you look a whole lot better with it like that.
Now then, shall we continue?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru blushed brightly at his words. Mostly because they were true, but she had never really gotten along with other people well. She chewed her lip as she moved back to his side. It was stupid to be trusting a complete stranger the way she was but he was real living company.  

[Roccano]

Kai smiled over at her and then started looking at the clothing shops.

"So, you ever wear a dress?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru glanced at him from the top of her new book. "I wear skirts all the time." She said with a shrug. "It's the same thing basically." She dismissed as she turned her eyes back to her book.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed and shook his head as he pushed her book down and pointed to a clubwear store.

"I meant those kinds."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru had frowned at him as he pushed her book down and then blushed madly at the sight of what he was wanting her to wear. "I can't wear that." She protested.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed and nodded.

"Sure you can, its just one night, youll like it."

He motioned for her to follow him and started looking through a few of them.

"What are your dimensions?"
