Phoebe let Meggie down off of her back, and began to take her clothes off to show her swim suit beneath her clothes. Standing in a bikini swim suit the same style and color as her clothes that she had just had one, she looked over at Meggie with a smile before walking over to find a place to set her towel down so it wouldn't get dirty. "Ah, I haven't gone swimming in decades!" Smelling the air, she stopped. "Ew, not what I remembered it to smell like. I smell a huge fish somewhere." Plugging her nose she looked back at Meggie. Turning so her back was facing the body of water, she began to put her hair up in a pony tail.

Meggie took off her clothes to reveal a black bikini. She shook out her hair, and walked to the edge smelling what Phoebe was talking about. Oh-no "It's just the way the water smells, I bet there's nothing wrong." she said hoping her excuse didn't sound as lame as she thought it did. She raced into the water and gracefully divided under.

Phoebe thought about it for a few seconds, coming to no conclusion she shrugged and followed Meggie in. Her mind had to much on it's mind for her to smell Lysander's clothes, or even figure out that it wasn't the best excuse. Though it would be true, maybe this batch of water just smelt funky. Diving down, she felt her toe hit something. Quickly swimming back up, she gasped for air. "EWWW!! I TOUCHED A FISH!!"

Lysander had watched Phoebe dive down and get closer and closer to him. The moment he thought it would be best to move she had begun to go up. But unfortunately her big toe touched a part of his body. Hearing that she thought it was a fish, he slowly moved under the water. Though not being able to help the male in him couldn't help but check both girls out, though mostly Meggie.

Oh no! Meggie swam over to Phoebe "I bet it was just some leaves or something like that. How could a fish get in here, it's a closed off lake that only get's it's water from the rain." she said praying that Phoebe would be convinced.

"Um.. Well.. Strange.. But okay, I guess. If you say so." Phoebe smiled, not wanting to think into things to much right now. Floating on her back now, she closed her eyes. "Ah~ This is the life."

Lysander began to swim as far away from where they were swimming as he could without being notice.

Meggie swam a bit backwards and slowly got bored. "So what you want do now?" she asked, yawning.

"We can see what's under the water! I brought goggles! I wonder if there's a treasure!" A huge smile appeared on Phoebes face, just the thought of treasure made her excited enough to grab two goggles. Swimming back to Meggie, she gave her one and put one on herself. "Ready?" It sounded strange because her nose was covered. Without seeing a yes or a no, she dove under and began to search through the waters.

Meggie quickly submerged trying to stop her but it was no use. Even with the goggles on she couldn't find Phoebe. She swam around searching for Lysander to tell him to get out.

Lysander had fallen asleep, thinking that he would be safe where he was. Why would they go way over at the edge, nearly all the way to the bottom anyway?

Phoebe swam faster and faster until she saw something, soon getting so close she could touch it. It took her a minute to look from the end of the creature all the way to it's head. "GAAAH!!" Her scream was gargled, and the fact that she had opened her mouth under water made her have to swim all the way back up. Once her head was safe above the water, she coughed a little bit and caught her breath. "MEGGIE!! MEEEGGGIIIEEE!!" She yelled for her friend, it was a sea serpent! What if it awoke and tried to eat one of them?!

Meggie heard screaming and quickly came up. She swam quickly over to Phoebe "What is it? What's wrong?"

"It's a - It's a - It's a.. Sea serpent." Phoebe whispered the last two words to Meggie. "Quickly, we have to get out of here." In all the hundred of years that she had been alive, this was the first time that she had ever seen a sea serpent. So obviously she had no clue if they ate humans. "Before it wakes up, we have to go silently." Keeping her voice quiet and urgent, she began to swim back to land with her hand holding onto Meggies'.

Hearing some commotion, Lysander moaned. Being half awake, he had completely forgotten that he was trying to be quiet and hide from the two girls.

Meggie let Phoebe pull her away and whispered silently "So what are we going to do now?"

Reaching land, Phoebe frowned shaking her head. "I don't know. How do we kill a sea serpent? But.." Crossing her arms, she stared out at the small lake, thinking. "How did it end up here? They're called SEA serpents for a reason. It's not like it can get up and walk out of the sea." She laughed loudly.

Meggie had to think fast and she was never very good at that. "Please forgive me Phoebe. It's for your own good." She punched Phoebe and made sure she was Knocked Out. Meggie then ran back into the water and swam to Lysander. She tapped him and pointed towards the surface, then she propelled herself up gasping for air waiting for him to join her.

"Sorry for wha-" Suddenly feeling a punch in her face, she became winded. Usually should could take a punch, kick, whatever someone would throw at her. But the fact that it was such a surprise, well.. Surprised her. Falling to the ground, she became unconscious.

Seeing Meggie point to the surface, Lysander swam quickly and was up above the water before she was. The moment she came up, his serpent eyes showed worry. 'She wanted to KILL me?! And I suppose you wanted me to show her who I really am, rather than you tell her?' He wouldn't have minded either way. Though, did she really have to knock her best friend out like that?
