Except for any Mewtwo and the Palkia someone was nice enough to clone over the GTS, my experience with ubers is a sour one. Although, one look at my Groudon's nature, stats, and moveset showed me the reason why. [385 Attack, Naughty nature, BUT THIS DOES NOT HELP WHEN MOST OF ITS MOVES ARE SPECIAL. D:<] Too lazy to examine my Rayquaza well, but he sucked worse than Groudon because at least Groudon's Earthquake shut up any land Pokemon, and his Drought helped speed up my Tropius. I did update his moveset a bit to better suit his stats, but what can you do when it's already at lv. 100? D: So like, Ubers/legendaries in general are like, "YOU SUCK, YOU GOT BEAT BY SOMETHING THAT WASN'T EVEN IN THE SAME CLASS. D:<" Then again, both teams from gen III that I raised to 100 suck because I didn't know about this thing called "EV training", so.......

@DJ: There's a No Duplicate Species clause in the VGCs, so nope, just one Giratina. Also, they're limiting the number of legendaries you can use to just two, to avoid the legendary fest that was JAA's tournament. Well, Japan is, and people are like, "WAIT THEY COULD CHANGE THE RULES FOR NORTH AMERICAN AND EUROPE!" Really? In a competition that has to come in global-regional parts due to sheer size before those parts can come together for one giant fight, they're gonna give each part a different set of rules?
@Ubers are for losers: Ubers is NOT cheap. Playing Ubers in itself does NOT make you a b*****d too lazy to train up "real" Pokémon. Playing Ubers against other tiers is what makes you a lazy jackass. But when you're playing Ubers, against other Ubers, in the Ubers tier, it's perfectly alright; You're not getting bonus points for bringing OU and under to an Ubers fight, guys.
That being said, I love Ubers. In theory. I just like legendaries.
@Hunter: You can smash any Pokémon with any other Pokémon if luck is on your side. This is not news. Also, switching out is the staple of competitive fighting. The only things meant to last more than a few rounds are walls; Everything else either runs every time they're faced with something that even remotely has the chance to kill them, or they die/get sacrificed for a revenge kill.
As for Rapid Spinners, that's what Starmie is for. Starmie ******** up everyone's s**t and is the bane of everyone's existence. But from what I've seen, Rapid Spin is pretty much being cast to the wayside unless the person knows that they'll be going up against entry hazards, at any time, ever. But with Good Stuffs on a drastic rise (at least, in Japan, seeing as the NA scene is chock full of RD and TR teams), it's becoming a lot more hard to predict that s**t.
