He lifted a thin pale brow, following Seiya stiffly as she walked back to the bench. "Where we stand?" Liuz sounded shocked, "I'm sorry, I don't think I know quite what you mean. I merely asked about your well being. You are a new student, such as myself, and one of the few I've spoken with for longer than two sentances. Furthermore, its polite, when you run across someonw you are aquaintanced with, to ask how their day has fared. Surely you're not so involved in memorzing proverbs to forget about common coutesy?"

Liuz pushed his sunglasses further up the bridge of his nose. "So lets try this again, shall we?" He cleared his throat gently before speaking again. "Well, I do say... Its Miss Mihara. Funny running into you here. How has your day been?"

He then paused waiting her response. He did stand awfully still...

Seiya looked up from her book slowly, with obvious curiousity she spoke very carefully.

"Good Afternoon, Liuz. Funny running into you here, my day's been just peachy-keen; that is if you can get past the annoying simplicity of it all. How has your day been?" It was obvious she was humoring him.

Without waiting for an answer she turned back to her book, feeling slightly uncomfortable that he was standing so close, so quietly.

Liuz seemed absolutely delighted that she responed. "My day is going quite well, thank you so much for asking. It is so refreshing to find someone with manners." Was he being sarcastic? It was hard to tell. "I do hope you'll find something that challenges your mind in the midst of all the 'annoying simplicity' I'd hate to see your cultured mind waste away. That would be a travesty."

He used the word with inflection. It didn't quite seem to go with the sentance. He smiled nonetheless, and tipped his hat. "Have a splendid afternoon, Miss Mihara, and good luck with memorizing those proverbs. I'm certain they'll come in handy one day."

With that, the albino sauntered off in his rigid akward way. Had he been able to skip, he might have.

Seiya looked shocked, he seemed...happy. Not that that was a bad thing it was just that...he was a bit, too gleeful.

She paused and but her book away; shifting slightly she began to dig through her satchel, looking for a schoolbook. "I should get a jump on my homework..." She said slowly, feeling that something was slightly off. Forgetting about her schoolbook she began to look for her journal; it was far more important than anything else.

"There's something up, I know it..."

Liuz was a young man brought up in the lap of luxory. He had never wanted for anything. He had been pampered all through out his life. But something happened when he was two years old. The specifics of this particular incident aren't important, but the effect it had on Liuz are.

Liuz had never been a very hearty child, but after 'the accident' he'd been bed ridden for almost three years. Instead of being pampered by servants he was pampered by doctors. Pills became an very prominant part of his daily diet. Liuz despised them. He became quite adept at slight of hand.

True, he had a gift for illusionary magics, but in a house where nearly every member was aware of such skills... well, they all knew how to spot it, especially in such an untrained vessel as young liuz' five year old self. Natural tricks were very unexpected. He could roll a pill from his finger to his sleeve without even looking. It became a game for him. After he was mobile, larger things began to disappear. Not anything valuable or vital by any means... but just simple tools that made the help look twice.

He became quite popular with the stable children with his fancy card tricks. His tutour was bewildered when pens and pencils would disappear from his satchel and he hadn't noticed a hint of magic being used.

Liuz never expected such a mundane talent to come in handy.

Oh but wasn't he mistaken.

He began to whistle to himself as he headed towards the male dormitory.

Seiya began to panick, "Okay," she took a deep breath, "I didn't lose it; its just in my room or in my locker. There's no way it was lost. Yes." She felt better, she'd just make sure she found it when she reached her room and put it away.

"There's no way..." She went back to memorizing from her book but was unable to concentrate, she had a really bad feeling about this...

She stood up to make her way to her room and then the library; there would be peace and quiet there.

[If you can't tell after your post here my character will be in the libaray, panicking and whatnot. xd ]

After the beach and heading to the Entrance Gates, Tomoro decided to stop at the South Courtyard. I've been here... once. But that was when a fight was occuring. Sighing lightly, she pushed her hair in front of her shoulders, a few grains of sand still in it from when the boy had pushed her down. She wondered where all of her friends were at the current moment...they had probably left her, too. Tomoro really urged herself to go back to her dorm and collect her eyepatch... but it was then that she noticed a pale young man.

He looked almost sickly, and walked with a slight limp, even though it seemed as though he were trying to conceal it... maybe. It wasn't working, whatever he was doing. He seemed to inch along, the poor thing; he needed a better cane or something. It was intricate, though, and a startling beautiful silver color... Tomoro really liked it, it had a strange beauty to it. In fact, he reminded Tomoro of herself when she was a little girl, and that fact disturbed her greatly. Nobody should have to suffer like she did.

Taking a deep breath, she decided to get to know the boy, and walked toward him, both of her eyes open; if he didn't like her scar, he could just walk away like the snail he was already imitating. Coming up directly in front of him, her Lolita dress bouncy, she softly spoke. "Sir... are you.. okay?"

Liuz was feeling quite pleased with himself today. Oh but the fates did have their way of crushing his spirit when things were looking up.

"Sir... are you.. okay?"

Are... you... o.k....

Liuz sighed turning his head around to cast his sun shade hidden gaze towards the female voice. Why did people insist on asking him if he was ok? It was a chore to walk, his lungs could barely support his stick like body, he couldn't see without the aid of specticles and he was in constant pain from the torso down.

Was he ok?

Of course not.

Did it really matter?

Not one bit.

That was life. He had learned to live with it because he had to. He didn't even think of it as some sort of seperate feeling to who he was. This condition was a part of him just as his arms or head were. Why did people constantly assume that just because he was walking that he needed some sort of assistance. Why was it that just because he breathed in air, people assumed he wasn't' alright.

Liuz flipped on his amiable, brilliant smile and nodded to the girl. "Yes, miss. I am quite alright. Thank you."

Seiya returned to the courtyard after running from the courtyard to her room and to her locker and then back.

She was bent over, panting, a few yards away from Liuz, ignoring the girl with him she began to try to speak;

"What..have...you done...wit-...with...my...journal...?!"

She gasped/accused, "I knew you were up to something!"

She looked distressed, her her hair stuck up at the ends and there were multiple scuffs on her shoes. "Look, I've already trashed my clothes, just give it back and they'll be no bloodshed..."

Seiya looked furious, it seemed she had come to a conclusion and was prepared to fight if neccesary.

[Seiya: gonk The jerk was probably reading it while I was looking!]

Tomoro nodded silently, turning around. "I'm... sorry. You just reminded me of myself." Why am I even talking to him...? Tomoro looked down at the ground, her black eyelashes thick and all in line with eachother. She was a bit ashamed... she had probably hurt his feelings, and she coughed slightly, turning back around. "I apologize for anything I may have done." Of course, Tomoro would normally NEVER act like this in front of a guy, but right now she had to put up a fake front. She then heard the girl screeching at him. She didn't even do anything. She was just being strange, probably all of the tension back at the beach was coming back to her.

She turned around, glaring at the girl, her black scar shining a bit in the sunlight. "Excuse me? This young man was talking to me. Go take your PMS off on someone else." Already, Tomoro didn't like the girl... she had an assuming edge to her, and she didn't like it. AT ALL. In fact, she hated people like that. Smirking, she put her hands across her chest, folding them, in defiance. "I was talking to him, and this conversation is none of your business anymore. Now, if you will kindly leave, I'd like to have an intelligent conversation with this guy."

"No, no, its quite alright. You were only being concerned. I'm used to it. Its no bother at all." He tipped his hat in greeting. "My name is Liuz Zarrek, I'm a little new around here. I was trying to find something interesting to do around here since I've finished up with classes... Perh--" Liuz was interrupted by Seiya's panic screech of rage. He tilted his head in some confusion. "Ah Miss Mihara, you seem a bit disgruntled. Is something wrong?"

He leaned against his cane looking deep in thought. "I apologize miss, for the sudden interruption. Miss Mihara here seems to think me a thief. I assure you she's quite mistaken." He smiled genuinely to Tomoro then returned his attention to Seiya. "Miss Mihara, perhaps you should calm down. After all... I certainly wouldn't want you to get so upset that you transfer schools. I'd hate to cause someone such trouble."

Once again, he returned his gave to the gray haired young woman. "I'm sorry miss, I don't believe I caught your name."

He's so proper... she thought, cocking her head to the right, silver hair tumbling down onto her chest. He must come from a very wealthy family. Dang. I must seem like a country hick right now. Nodding her head and ignoring the girl called Mihara, Tomoro bowed deeply in front of Liuz.

"I see. It's a pleasure, Mr. Zarrek. My name is Tomoro Kourosai. Nice to meet you." Bowing once again, her hair tumbling down like an avalanche, she paid no attention to the shrieking girl; she certainly had a bad attitude. No use to act like a barbarian in front of someone so civilized. Shifting her gaze to Mihara, and then back to Luiz, Tomoro noticed his skin was so... white. She was always considered pale, but compared to Luiz, she looked like she had been out in the sun forever. She shook her head, and then looked up into his eyes, hoping he wouldn't shy away from the scar in her eye. So many people did that.

"So you've just started... I see. I've been here for a while, I know the general jist of Ria. It's nothing special. The people are the ones you want to get to know, they can be pretty... interesting..." There were a lot of people that Tomoro had met since she started six months ago. The only person she had practically failed to meet so far was a fire manipulator, and that made her smile a bit. She never did like them. For some reason, her father had implemented in her brain ever since she was very small that all fire manipulators were evil, and burned plants up for fun. As cruel and unusual as that man was, those were the only words that Tomoro still kept and believed in her mind.

ShironMezuki

When Shiron finally reached the courtyard she began to panic because she didn't remember where she was last. "Where the hell is it, where the hell is it!?!"

What she had lost was a locker her mother had gave her before she left home. It had been passed down trough the females on her mother's side of the family. It was a sliver locket with a gold trimming, and inside contained nothing but the name 'Takari'.

Before she left home, she was told to take care of it, and when she returned that must be with her to pass onto her daughter or granddaughter. Shiron was also told that if she were to lose it and to return without it, she would bring the Takari name to shame, be stripped of her name, and to be bannished from the family.

"I have to find that damn locket." Shiron began to scope the area; she then spotted someone that she never thought she'd see in the same vasenity as lower class people, the daughter of the infamus 'Mihara' family.

Sakura continued to wonder, looking for someone to help him find the dorms. Where can everyone be? Sakura thought to himself, scratching the back of his head as he thought this. He was extremely tired and just wished to rest. He decided he would sleep on the grassy plain of the courtyard then trying to fine someone. I proably wouldn't be able to find anyone anyways....Everyone is asleep!! He let go of his luggage and layed calmly down on the floor, where he rest his sleepy head on the soft grass. Moving about to get comfortable, he slowly driftied off to sleep......

Bakuto-kun

PostPosted: Fri May 12, 2006 7:55 pm
Bakuto was practically lost as he entered the courtyard, having just come from the direction of the dorms. He wasn't interested in anything else at the moment but relaxation, and this seemed like the place to do it. His calm grey eyes scanned the scene, taking in all that was around him. The harmony here between nature and civilization caused a smile to cross his face. He knew that he would be here often.

Not in any particular hurry to make any friends, he strides over to an open patch of grass away from the other students, plopping down to make himself comfortable. He removes his battered sword and his trusted hammer from his belt, setting them to his side on the grass, the hammer lying over the top of the sword. He then lies back on the grass, his body parallel to the blade as though he couldn't lie any other way. He rests his gloved hands behind his head and crosses one leg over the other, his shaggy brown hair spreading out over his hands and the grass alike. Still smiling, he closes his eyes, glad to finally be able to rest after the long trip.
