"Wow...that must have been exciting..." Kozue though alittle more about the situation before thinking again.

"Why did you want to run away in the firat place?"

He gave her a glance. "that a conversation for another time mabe..." Wanting to change the subject eh asked, "do you want to eat diner with me?" reliving what he had just said his face turned slightly ppink. "i mean the're serving diner now and I thought that.."

Kozue was happy that she wasn't the one who had to change the conversation and she hoped to hear the story another time. She smiled.

"Sure. Let's go." Kozue got up off the ground and looked down at William.

"You ready?"

He got up and started to push his bike along the path. "yea." ((sure))  

[Nefidean]

Nefidean smiled softly. "I wouldn't want to put you out of any trouble." She said. "I mean I can always ask my own parents. I have alot to discuss with them." She said her ears flatening against her head as she glared off to the side. "Besides, I don't think it's a place where shapeshifters stayed, I think it's more of a kingdom they lived in. The way it's discribed here in the book is that my clan lived in The Northern Woods of Moonia... Then again Moonia could be the woods them selves." She muttered as she sighed. "There's still so much I don't know about me..."

He nodde dhis race use to hav many kingdoms and cities now it had one. "Well if you ever need help just ask i could always do a search for you." he liked helping poeple even new poeple. Guardian and protecter is my purpose so i might as wel start tyring to do at least a little work towards it. He thought to himself.  

[Nefidean]

Nefidean smiled sweetly. "Thanks I'll keep that in mind, expecially if my parents refuse to talk." She said with a small laugh. "Still I don't want to be a burden or to trouble you at all, but I will keep that in mind. But you said your father had a large library? What's it like? I mean where you come from and all." She asked, growing a more comfortable around Uwasa. Her ears (and tail though she had her tail hidden better then the ears) started to fade back into her self.

He thought about it for awhile and kinda shrugged. "Well i grew up in a mansionw ith my father mother and sister. You see my poeple do not realy have cities anymore we have one but only a few of us live there. You see my race is on the verge of extinction, there is alony a couple thousand maybe a hundred thousand left. Also we reproduce alot slower then humans once every 70 years and we only live 200 years, so soon there will be fewer and fewer." He seemed sad then he looked at the girl. "Hehehe sorry about that you wanted to hear about the city not our problems. Well let's see the citie is huge it is hindin inside a very large mountain, it is our crowning achievment. Also our last strong hold nothing has every breached it's magic protection also it has many wonder jewels and magic all over it." He sounded very proud of the citie.  

[Nefidean]

Nefidean wrinkled her brow when she heard him talk about his race. "I'm sorry to hear that... It's hard to think of intelegent beings becoming exstinct. And City, or Past, I wanna hear it all." She said before covering her mouth, thinking it was a bit nosey to say. "I mean, I don't mind hearing either." She smiled nervously.

She listend carefuly to his discription of the city he came from. "It sounds amazing really. I just come from a small hick town in the middel of no where. 'Where the Cows out Number the People!' That's our slogan." She laughed.

He laughed at the saying and wiped a tear from his eye lifting his singlases, it was easy to catch a glimps of hi eye witch looked funny. "Anyway ya well that is our only surviving city but if you wish to hear about the race i got free time. You see my power are not unique everyone in our race is born with magic even children can use there powers. But not all powers are the same some are born with the oddest powers one person i knew was born with the power to read minds and that was it. But we have a price each one of us is also born with a weakness a handicap if youw ill, now it's nothing big. Like someone who is realy good with fire would have a aversion to cold while other like the guy who could read minds, he was deaf but in truth being able to read minds made up for it. So in the end no matter what we always come out on top." He said smiling.  

[Nefidean]

Nefidean smiled and nodded eagerly, curious about his eye, but remaind silent as spoke. She listened carefully to what he said and took it all in. "Does the mean, since you excell at shadows and earth that you are weak against light and air?" She blurted out, which was quickly fallowed by her hand covering her mouth again. "It all sounds amazeing though. Every one born with something special, and that every one's unque." She said eagerly.

He smiled and shook his head. "No we are only ever given one weakness my father controls all the elements but only has a weakness to cold." He said smiling then continued. "Yes we are unique but guessing a childs powers can be done by looking at there parents. My sister inherited light form my father and telekenisis from our mother, i got my two powers from my father side. See it is like poeple you know like when poeple have disease in there family, or a specail traite the children have an increased chance to inherit it. But there are odd cases like the bow who could read minds, his parents where of elemental powers nothing to do with mind powers like his. So in truth we are not to different from humans in we share thing through parents such as looks and abilities." He said smiling.  

[Nefidean]

"I guess the same goes for shapeshifters." she said softly looking at her book. "Though it's easy to tell what powers we get." She smiled again. "Then again, there must have been a reason why they've kept it all in the clan."

She looked back up at Uwasa. "So then, tell me about your family. What is your father like. You seem to like to talk alot about him." She asked eagerly. Uwasa's father did sound like quite an intresting man.

Uwasa smiled liking the fact that she seemed interested. "Yes shape shifters and most mammals share those aspect i guess it makes us belong." He then was asked about his father and sighed. "Well my father is what you would call a unique man, he is the last serviving council member. They where called the council of elders only the oldest of us have every been on it usually those who are near there death at 200. But my father has lived way past that one or two years is nothing strange but my father has lived for 350 years. He was still around to see the end of the elf war, witch was a war between my race and elves we where able to keep it secret from man." He said sighing and then thought to get back on track about his father.

He was looking at what was happening from afar and kept silent. He walked around the courtyard and found a place to rest.
