I'm better. I found someone who's been helping me considerably. He's been so nice to me, before, and even after Briar. *She paused, waiting to see her friend's reaction.*

"Thats great!" Alena said, "Who is he?"

It's Chris, the new kid with all the piercings. He is a great vampire, he always seems to know away to make me smile or giggle, whether I want to or not. *She didn't smile while she spoke, like she had said, only Chris was able to make her smile.* He even got me to join their soccer game, with bad results. I almost decapitated him and almost landed myself in a coma because I was straining my body to its limits. It seems as if I still haven't recovered that battle. *She shuddered slightly at the memory of Josh's eyes filled with bloodlust.*

Alena put her arm around Rose's shoulder. "Thats great. I'm happy for you."

She truly was. Alena was tiered of seeing her so depressed reciently. It sooooo didn't seem like the girl she met when she first came to Blood Moon.

Yes, but I don't think I'll ever be the same girl that I once was. *Rose was getting in the habit of reading everyone's minds. She couldn't help it, her powers weren't under control yet.* Alena, if you stop by my shop, I can give you your sword. Briar had left it there unfinished but I got it done. *Alena stared in suprise as she heard Rose say Briar's name. Something she hadn't done since Briar had left her.* I can even give you some meat. Alena, why are you staring?

"I don't think I was staring...." Alena said. She was unaware that she had avoided using Briar's name. "But I wouldn't mind going to your store. Do you wanna go there now?"

And do you wanna come? she added mentally to Nero.

It will be fine. I don't think we could kill each other, besides, Nero would help us. *she turned to Nero and smiled. She was about to go back into her stance when she heard Kajininja. Then her face became sad.* Yeah, I'm fine. *she said to Kaji. Word spreads quickly here doesn't it? she said to herself.* Let's get this duel started. *Rose wiped out the feeling of depression for one of excitement. Her eyes were still sad though.*
