More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Gidget takes a quick reading of the events that led up to his landing on the floor. "It would seem like your pressure bubble popped, and then you fell. Are you okay?" She offers Theonis a hand to help him up.

"Nice." Deora commented after Kerana showed her how the laundry worked. As Kerana went back to cooking, Deora pulled the sheets off of her bed and put them into the wash. The readout said it would be a little while before they were done, so she went back into the kitchen to watch Kerana cook.

Deora smiled at how animal-like Kerana continued to be. Did she even realize her tail was moving? Deora leaned on the counter, resting her cheek on her hand as she watched Kerana work, and couldn't help but focus on her ears and tail, how they seemed to move with a life of their own. She was still watching the fluffy tail when Kerana offered her the spoon. "No thanks, I don't really like muffins before they're cooked. If we ever make chocolate pudding, though, you might have trouble keeping the bowl from me before it's ready."

"Wha?" Theonis said as he took her hand and got up."Pressure bubble? I didn't...I didn't make one. I thought I just fell off the couch." He said as his brains were still trying to switch from sleeping to being awake.

"Wha?" Theonis said as he took her hand and got up."Pressure bubble? I didn't...I didn't make one. I thought I just fell off the couch." He said as his brains were still trying to switch from sleeping to being awake.

Trinity stepped toward him next to Gidget, "There was a bubble around you while you were sleeping. I could see it myself, I tried to put my hand through it but the pressure seemed to push me out. I'm Trinity Smith, head of security of Valhalla, and you are?"

"No problem." Deora said as she took the timer. She watched both the muffins and Kerana as she gathered her clothes. As the girl went to the shower, Deora started to wonder what she would do while she waited. An answer came to her as she looked over to the sink. She took a bowl and filled it with water, intent of practicing with her power. She set the bowl on the counter where she could keep both it and the oven in easy sight, and held up her hands towards the bowl with a focussed look on her face. That last lasted only a few seconds before she realized she had no idea what she was doing. Sure, she could spin water in a glass, but what else was there? She once again rested her cheek on her fist, staring at the water as if the answers would spring forth.

"Uh...Theonis...Theonis Richards. I tried to leave last night but...." Theonis paused and looked at the couch."I didn't get very far it seems."

"Can I uh..help you?"

"Uh...Theonis...Theonis Richards. I tried to leave last night but...." Theonis paused and looked at the couch."I didn't get very far it seems."

"Can I uh..help you?"

Trinity changed her stance and folded her arms and said,"Actually quite the contrary. How can we help you? We can set you up with a place to stay, help you find Tansy or help you find your way out." Her eyes were studying him, could he be the mole? He did get here without the alarms going off. Perhaps he used Tansy to get in.

"Not really, Angel...I mean Tansy..wait..Angel helped me find a place so I got a place to stay." Theonis said.No need to stay here...don't want to bring this place down if my powers go wild again

"Well...if you happen to know a good spot for me to train my powers without having to worry about people dying in the progress that would be nice"

Gidget's interest is piqued. She asks, "That depends on what you can do. We have multiple development facilities for people to hone their powers, but they are tailor made depending on the type. I saw that you can control pressure, but is that all you can do?"

Deora hadn't even glanced at the timer in a few minutes, and it surprised her out of her thoughts when it went off. She looked up as Kerana got the muffins out, and paid extra attention to the muffins themselves, glad to see they hadn't burned while she wasn't looking. She sighed as Kerana sat next to her and asked what she was doing. "I was going to try and practice a little bit, but I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing. All I can do right now is move the water around it's container, maybe lift it up a little bit, but I still don't know how I do it, or how I can do other stuff." She waved a hand at the bowl in frustration, eliciting a little wave that circled it's way around the edge of the bowl. It was the same motion one would get if they moved the bowl in a quick circle, but of course this time the bowl hadn't moved a bit.

She had to admit she was more frustrated than she should be, but she was calm again when the smell of the muffins reached her nose. She took a deep breath, both to help calm down, and to take in more of the delicious scent. "Those smell really good, Kerana."
