An Interview With Yourself
1. What Do You Do For A Living? I am currently the Copy Editor for my university's student newspaper. I look through the stories for each issue correcting grammar, punctuation, spelling errors and addressing any information errors or issues (i.e. whether there are tidbits of information that still needed to be given or unnecessary).
2. Who Do You Love? I love my family and friends.
3. Do You Have Enough Money? Personally I would like to have more money, which I hope to get as the newspaper comes out of hiatus. However, for our household, we are financially well-off and doing much better than most others are during these hard economical times.
4. Are You Healthy? I consider myself to be. I eat reasonable amounts of food. I exercise, though its mostly the occasional walk either here at home or on the trails on campus, or dancing to music. While I may not go overboard with healthy actions, I maintain a healthy lifestyle.
5. Do You Think You Are a Good Person? Definitely.
6. How Old Are You? I'm 22 years old, but I look about 16 or 17 to most... and sometimes I feel mentally that I'm much older. I'll just say 909 years old for my mental age, because I do feel a bit like the Doctor from Doctor Who. I feel like an old, wise person stuck inside a young body - which is totally a good thing in my opinion. biggrin
7. Who’s Your Best Friend? "The Gang" - Amber, Lynnsey, Brittany and Chris
8. What’s Your Childhood Dream? If we are talking about careers, I wanted to be a teacher. An English teacher to precise. While I've grown up to lean more towards the creative writing aspect of English rather than the teaching, I still am open to the teaching idea. However, I think I would rather be a professor than a teacher. Some say there's no difference between those two titles, but technically there is. A professor works on a college or university campus, a teacher works on public or private elementary/middle/high school campuses.
9. How Often Do You Laugh? I know I haven't laughed as much as I used to in the past. While it doesn't take much to make me laugh, sometimes the mood I get from laughing isn't as cheerful and uplifting as I would like it to be. I think the grim and uncertain scenarios of life recently has made it hard to be as cheerful and carefree as I was when I was younger.
10. What Makes You Smile? My family and friends. Watching my favorite shows. Reading a good book. Creative writing. Listening to music. Cats. And probably a few other things...
11. Who’s Your Most Dangerous Enemy? I don't have an enemy.
12. Where Do You Live? In the middle of nowhere. *laughs* But I love it here. I love the peacefulness of the woods and being so close with nature. While the city life has its quirks, I will always be a country girl. smile
13. Do You Think You’re Strong? Physically - it's hit and miss. Emotionally - I'm stronger than I used to be. Mentally - Quite strong. Probably stronger than most.
14. What Was The Most Important Thing You’ve Done So Far? Right now it's working on getting my Bachelors degree. And I have to say working on a novel story that I've been wanting to do for a long time now and haven't been able to find the time to do it until now. It helps that I've learned some new techniques and changed my craft as a result. I love being able to write creatively again and truly enjoy it.
15. What Was The Most Stupid Thing You’ve Done So Far? I can't think of any stupid things I've done. Or at least I don't see them as being stupid.
16. Do You Love Yourself? Yes.
17. What Do You Fear The Most? Losing my friends and family.
18. What Is Your Favorite Word? Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
19. When Was The Last Time You Cried? A true fullout breakdown cry? Um... a couple months ago.
20. What Is The Best Thing That Could Happen To You Right Now? Knowing that I have a job I'll enjoy doing waiting for me when I graduate with my Bachelors... and potentially finding a way to go onto my Masters and financially be able to afford it.
And maybe meeting Benedict Cumberbatch? *laughs and shrugs*
21. What Is The Worst Thing That Could Happen To You Right Now? Um... I have no idea.
22. Picture Yourself In 5 Years From Now There's too many potential possibilities for where I could be that I don't know which one to put down at this time.
23. Do You Regret Anything? No.
24. What’s The First Thing You Do In The Morning? If it's a school day, it's turning off the annoying alarm. Then I go to the bathroom.
25. What Are You Thinking Just Before Going To Bed? Depends on what happened during the day or what topic/theme/etc. is the main thought obsession of mine at the time.
26. What Was The Highest Point You’ve Ever Been To? Being up in the air flying in an airplane for the first time
27. If There’s One Thing In Your Life You Want To Change Right Now, What Is It? Being more certain on what I'm going to do in my future. I feel bad for having an undecided answer whenever someone asks me what I'm doing after I graduate. *sighs*
28. What Are You Proud Of? Myself for making this far in my education... and still wanting to continue onwards, despite the obstacles.
29. Sum Up Your Life In One Sentence An emotional roller coaster where I try to find my place in this chaotic world while trying to keep a hold onto my dreams and goals.
30. Name The Thing That Annoys You The Most People driving too close to the back end of my car. You aren't going to go anywhere faster people... especially when you'll probably just end up stuck at a red light while I zoom past you.
31. What Is Your No 1 Question To God? Who is the Holy Ghost, if you are the Father and Jesus is the Son?
32. Do You Have Secrets? Yes, I do.
33. What Makes You Laugh? Didn't I already answer something like this earlier?
34. Are You Happy? I'm content. That's all I can say on that matter at this time.
