Lol, I'm not quite sure if thats what they had in mind rofl But I was talking about Army and Marine Digi's.

I learned about the history of camouflage while at basic. They used to paint ships with cool designs to confuse the eye.

Well I think ships are all gray to blend into the horizon. But I know Submarines are painted with materials that absorb sonar.

They had a nice mural as an example it had a bunch of ships but actually counting a specific number took an effort. It was used to make enemies think there were more ships than there actually were.

Gunmetal grey is posed to blend in to the changing of the light, before dawn and at twilight. Also the reason why lights go from clear to red durning night

Red light is least visible among the light spectrum, so that's why they use it at night, because it can't be seen from as far away.

Yeah, and thats why for a while the Fire Trucks where changed from Red to this weird obnoxious Yellow-Greenish color

I like red better though.

I learned it because my dad was talking about digging up worms at night. Apparently red light helps and the rest of the trivia just sprang up out of nowhere.
