	Amaya heard the whisper, was it him? Had he really came? She thought, her mind racing quickly, she turned round and her eyes lit up. It was him, Erik had come. She jumped up and flung her arms around him. "ERIK!" she shouted happily, hugging him tightly. Her mood had changed dramaticly, she was so happy. "How are you?!" she asked him.

	His eyes widened, and his hood fell back as he stumbled back, landing onto the ground, with a yelp. "Jesus!" He yelled. "Amaya?! No!" He said, in surprise and shock. "Fancy meeting you here, you know?" He shook his head, his ears twitching. "It's like crazy! I've been better, but, well, you know. How about you?" He actually appeared to be alive, and not some emotionless figure, now that he was in the company of a friend.

	Amaya didn't get off him, instead she pinned him to the ground playfully. "Nyahaha, told you i'm stronger than you." she said before answering his question. "I've been better to be honest, i've been lonely here, i just seem to be invisible. But now, now you are here!" she said with a grin.

	"Heh, so you think." He knew struggling was futile. She'd just pin him again, anyway, most likely. "And, well, now you don't have to be invisible or lonely. Isn't that great?" He said, smiling. Another unusual thing for him. He spread his arms, and stuck his tongue out at her.

	Amaya giggled as he did so. She loved the little things he did like that, it was cute. She ruffled his hair and jumped up. "Let's go!" she cried, running at full speed towards a nearby tree. "I bet you can't win!" she yelled behind her at him as she was running. She loved playing little games like this with him, it was fun.

	"No fair! You had a headstart, and you know speed isn't my speciality!" He yelled, to no avail. Resentfully, he jolted forward, with an amazing speed, for someone carrying a claymore on their back. Unfortunately, it wasweighing him down to the point that he was nearly next to her, but not in front of her. Imperfect. He wanted victory. He would have to part with his prized possession. And, so, he unstrapped the claymore, letting it fall to the grund, as the race was suddenly neck-and-neck.

	Amaya turned to look at him. "Do you really want to make me use my full speed?" she said with a grin, referring to her perfection in shunpo. It didn't matter anyway, they reached the tree she wanted to get to. She jumped up into it and sat on the thickest branch. "Y'know, i don't think you should leave that over that." she said nodding towards where he'd dropped his sword. She swung her legs in the air and grinned at him playfully.

	"Yeah? What makes you think I was gonna?" He asked, crossing his arms. "Besides, if you would've used you're full speed, it would've been cheating." He said, jealously. "I've still not met anyone as fast." He claimed, approaching the tree. "Now, you think you could make use of that talent, and fetch my Claymore?"

	Amaya frowned playfully, he could be so cheeky at times. In the space of one second she had appeared infront of him, resting the Claymore on her shoulder, she was only a few centimetres away from his face. "Boo." she whispered softly.

	"You know that doesn't freak me out anymore." He said. His gloved hand snaked out, and gently grabbed the Claymore. "So, tell me, old friend. How did you come across this place?" He asked, setting the Claymore over his own shoulder now, head tilted with curiosity.

	Already she was back in the tree. "I'm not sure how it happened, it just... did." she replied thoughtfully, the question confusing her for some reason. She tilted her head. "You gonna come up here or what?" she asked beginning to swing her legs more. "It's nice up here, relaxing, shade.." she told him, looking down.

	He shrugged. "Fine. Catch." He threw the claymore up to her, and headed on up. He took a seat next to her, and took back his claymore. Sitting in this tree, next to possibly his only friend in the world, brought back memories. He shook them off, forgetting again, and sighed. "So, you just happened here by accident?"

	Amaya stopped swinging her legs and turned to him. "Well, i heard you were coming." she told him, truthfully. "So i thought i'd give it a try too, thought maybe it would give me a chance to make new friends, start over as an equal. In Soul Society i'm seen as a superior. It gets a little boring after a while." she admitted sighing. She looked up at the sky that was visible between some leaves.

	"Hmph." He frowned jealously. He'd give anything to be revered as superior. "You just gave all that up? Why would you do that?" He asked, absolutely stunned. "You know, I'd have jumped off a bridge to be superior for once."

	"Who said i gave it up?" she asked him, "I'm just taking a break, there's nothing much going on really, there's not much need for me, the other Captains can handle things for now, i have my Vice-Captain looking after my squad." she explained to him. "If anything big does happen, i'll be heading straight back over to Soul Society." She turned to him, he'd always been like that, thriving for control, power, to be superior, she shook her head slightly with a smile. "You'll never give up will you.." she said with a playfull nudge.
