More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Tom nods to Tansy with a blush. He doesn't get out much, and has never seen a real life angel before.

"Tom's family was one of the first ones to be raided by Daedalus. He lost everyone and everything, and hasn't spoken a word since." explains Gidget.

The boy's gaze wavers. He was much younger when it happened, but the memories still haunt him.

Gidget looks back over to Tansy and says, "His gift is one of a kind. He is a type 2 psychic meta capable of telekinesis, as well as psycho-projection. He is the most powerful psychic in the world, and his power continues to grow. He has agreed to transport me into your mind so that we can contain your other self, or at least get it under control."

Tansy stopped. "Excuse me?" She frowned. "Gigdet, I can't let you do that. Turst me. I've spent the better part of the last 13 years in there and look how I turned out? I'm insane! I can't let you go through that. I might e all light and feathers on the outside, but that is inside of there is darkness. Never ending darkness." She shook her head. "I appercate you wanting to help, but i don't know if that's really the beat idea..."

Gidget looks at Tansy flatly and states, "And I've spent the entirety of thirteen years not being able to smell, taste, or touch anything. It gets pretty damn lonely sometimes, and I've come fairly close to madness on multiple occasions. Believe me Tansy, I can empathize."

"You are way past the point of psychotherapy or hypnotic suggestion Tansy. The fact that your right hand doesn't know what the left does is proof positive of that. Normally I'd allow Tom to do this on his own, but we agreed it will be easier if there is a familiar presence in your mind scape."

A voice chimes in Tansy's mind. It is frail and quiet, yet at the same time brave and confident. "It'll be okay. I've helped lots of people like this. Have faith in Ms. Gidget."

The girls nodded somewhat with a sigh. It's not like they had brought anything with them, so there wasn't anything to pack up. It was just them waiting around until it was time to go. One by one they wandered to different parts of the room.

Tansy sighed softly. She placed a hand on her head and paused for a moment before she ran it through her hair. Biting onto her bottom lip, she looked to Gigdet and sighed. "Okay." She took a deep breath. "If this is the only thing we can do..." She shrugged. "Do you need me to do anything, or... how does this work?"

The girls nodded somewhat with a sigh. It's not like they had brought anything with them, so there wasn't anything to pack up. It was just them waiting around until it was time to go. One by one they wandered to different parts of the room.

Shane leaves the room and goes back over to the bedroom Annie was waiting in to see if she is still getting ready.

Tansy sighed softly. She placed a hand on her head and paused for a moment before she ran it through her hair. Biting onto her bottom lip, she looked to Gigdet and sighed. "Okay." She took a deep breath. "If this is the only thing we can do..." She shrugged. "Do you need me to do anything, or... how does this work?"

Gidget leads Tansy over to the chair across from Tom. "We need you to concentrate on a location. This place will represent your mind scape so make sure it's a nice and happy one. Once you have a have one in mind you just need to look into Tom's eye once he removes the bandanna. He'll take care of the rest."

"Happy?" Tansy paused for a moment as she sat down. "Right. I-I can do that..." She nodded slowly as she turned from Gigdet. "I think..." The woman sighed, her shoulders dropping somewhat as she forced her body to relax. Taking a slow deep breath, she closed her eyes as she though back to happier times. The first place that came to mind was the small one bedroom apartment she used to share with her sister before the meteor fell. "Okay." She said softly, her eyes closed as she faced the young boy. "I'm ready."

The doctor heads over to the sink and starts washing his hands. He glances over his shoulder at Trinity, reminiscing on the first time he had to patch her up. She rolled her eyes at his sucker comment back then too, and has every time. Most everyone does, but he doesn't mind. It gives the patient something else to think about besides what they came in to see him for.

He turns the water off and dries his hands. Turning to Trinity he says, "Alright then young lady, let's see what's ailing you."

Knowing the routine Trinity undressed herself, "I was racing to the security facility to try to prevent Shane from freeing himself along with a few accomplices I managed to slow them down but couldn't prevent the inevitable.

I saw the fire coming out and barely had enough time to get the accomplices to safety. Before the back draft came and so did my injuries. When I woke up, I had no memory before what happened and my wounds healed enough to move. Later I tried to remove all of the debris, disinfected the wounds and cover them up with band aids. There's still a possibility that I may have missed something..." Trinity waited for the next thing the doctor would do. One thought did occur to her, being the doctor he probably gets to hear all of the stories of battle.

Tom reaches up to his head and slowly pulls the bandannas knot apart. It comes undone and falls into his lap. In the middle of his forehead just above his eyes is a third lidless eye. It looks like a human's eye, but it is locked in place like an owl's.

The whisper creeps into Tansy's head once more. "Look into the eye be in your place of peace."

Gidget places a hand on the back of Tom's head and closes her eyes. A familiar sensation of weightlessness falls over her as she feels her mind traveling.

She opens her eyes slowly, hoping that Tansy's chosen location is a nice one.

Tansy's eyes opened as she looked into the third eye of the young boy.

The apartment was small, only a living room, with a small kitchen, and two doors. One leading to the bedroom, and one to the bathroom. The couch was covered in blankets and pillows, the coffee table covered in books and papers strewn about. Some school papers, most were bills. The bedroom door was cracked open, and inside was a small bed, which was messy but in a warm lived in sort of way. In fact, the whole apartment seemed that way. A sort of cozy lived in mess.

"On my way hun!" Liv replied. She entered the bathroom and saw Amanda who tried to cover herself up. Well partially anyway. And Liv had to admit it looked better than when she was in her underwear. Much sexier. Liv handed her the crutch." There you go Aman"

His weight doubled. He did feel a lot heavier but he could handle it without his power. Still....he canceled it out with his powers. Wasn't all that hard.
"Alright kick it up a notch!"

"Quite a commotion," Annie commented to Shane as she pulled her hair back in a ponytail. Shane might have preferred her hair down but her hair had been irritating her all morning by not falling right- call it vanity but even on the run she had little patience for when her appearance wasn't up to her standards. "Anyhow, I'm ready to go whenever you are. In fact the sooner the better."
