While Kerana and Nova continued their argument Trinity took an opportunity to speak with Alec. "Excuse me Aishi…" she dropped into her shadow. A whisper resonated within the darkness of the boy's ears. "Alec, I'd like a word with you if you please." The voice sounded it like it was coming from behind. As he turned he could see Trinity's glowing eyes within the darkness of the tree.

As he approached Trinity started to explain. "It's Nova. I fear he's only getting worse. I'm some ways I'm glad you weren't far off. If at all possible I'd like to have you close by. For when the inevitable does happen, I'll need all the help I can get. I've learn so much from him. "

"Yet I'm afraid I will have to continue learning holy on my own. Without my choker, every time I use a little holy it brings out the goddess. But that is another issue entirely." she sighed to herself. "It would be nice to travel as a group again but, I'm afraid that's not going to happen right now." She said referring to the two biting each other's heads off.

[Nova Blancke]

"Did I say kill him? No, I did not. He will be fine when he wakes up. Alone with noone to hurt. But I see you'd rather surround a man, who is enslaved to his weapon's will, with plenty of people to attack? Fine, have it your way. My next destination is a village as it so happens to be. If he strikes at them, they will kill him." Nova continued.

"But I'm not carrying him. You wanted this so you carry him."

Alec merely listened and nodded as Trinity spoke. It looked like his plate just became a great deal more full.

He could feel his inner wolf nudging him to return his attention to the argument before him

"Wait. We don't have to carry him. Put him down for a moment."

He reached into his hip pouch and pulled out a small vial. He popped the cork out, released a pungent and highly disruptive odor. He covered his sensitive nostrils and waved it underneath the nose of the bandit.

"Don't worry. This should rouse him, but he'll be greatly disoriented from the fumes waking him.""

He glanced over his shoulder to Nova. "That cursed sword, is it possible to destroy it? My wolf spirit feels such a thing shouldn't exist in this world. I'm inclined to agree."

He reached into his hip pouch and pulled out a small vial. He popped the cork out, released a pungent and highly disruptive odor. He covered his sensitive nostrils and waved it underneath the nose of the bandit.

"Don't worry. This should rouse him, but he'll be greatly disoriented from the fumes waking him.""

He glanced over his shoulder to Nova. "That cursed sword, is it possible to destroy it? My wolf spirit feels such a thing shouldn't exist in this world. I'm inclined to agree."

He felt like he was floating in a sea of weightless empty space. He knew Alexa would get impatient. He hated when she took out her aggravation on him instead of waiting for him to gain the upper hand. Suddenly his senses began to burn. A pungent scent assailed his nostrils and he began to writhe around, trying to free his nose from the horrid scent.

As his eyes opened and he sat up, he noticed the wolf standing above him. His arm looked like it had been healed and he glanced around to see Kerana as well as the man he had encountered earlier. Great...just great. He sighed as he laid back on the ground. "So is this where you tie me up and drag me along then? Go ahead...I've no strength to argue."

He silently cursed. Alexa had practically drained all his stamina and energy for anything. He felt disoriented and exhausted and all he wanted to do was rest, but knowing how hostages worked he'd be forced to walk for awhile until they were ready to stop. He mentally started to prepare for the trip as he laid there.

"Everything that can be created, can be destroyed just the same." Nova replied.

"No it is not my plan to drag you along. You can thank the little fox for that. She has empathy for your case. Where as I....do not. We are going to the Dragon-Kin. To the volcano. There we will dispose of the sword." Nova calmly explained but there was no kindness in his words. Only an ice cold tone." The only question is do we have to dispose of you as well when the time comes?"

The only question is do we have to dispose of you as well when the time comes?"

Veran chuckled as he was assisted to his feet. "You sage schmuck! You honestly think it's that easy do you? You have no idea exactly what's in that sheath and it's better that way." He shuffled over to the ice blade, bent over carefully as to avoid toppling over and grabbed it, sliding it into the other sheath. "As for 'disposing' of me...do try what you like. We'll get to see what trickery lies up your sleeve won't we?"

He leaned up against the wall to try and balance himself as well as take in his surroundings. The fox vouched for him eh? She did seem like the sort to worry. "So you're off to dragon land eh? Kind of risky..wouldn't you say? By the way, where's little miss most wanted? I thought she'd be at your hip....and who's the new guy?" Veran glanced over at Aishi who had traveled with them and as he glanced back at Alec and Nova, he could sense a glare coming.

"Fine fine...just restrain me or whatever you plan to do and let's get going. Hostages march alongside..right?"

"As you wish." Trinity's voice came from shadows surrounding him. Shadows of his hands were used to grip his hands and pulled him together behind him. Once back there, her hands came out of a shadow on his back she tied the man's wrists together tightly, a bit uncomfortable for the question he'd asked earlier. Once satisfied how tight his wrists were she tried taking the blades keeping them in their sheaths.

"As you wish." Trinity's voice came from shadows surrounding him. Shadows of his hands were used to grip his hands and pulled him together behind him. Once back there, her hands came out of a shadow on his back she tied the man's wrists together tightly, a bit uncomfortable for the question he'd asked earlier. Once satisfied how tight his wrists were she tried taking the blades keeping them in their sheaths.

He winced slightly at how tight she made his restraints, but still managed a small smirk. "Well, long time." He felt a small tug on his belt and saw a couple shadows trying to tear his blades away. "Undo the clasp first. There's two..one above each sheath. Just don't take them out unless you plan on spicing up your dull day."

He felt the buckles loosen and soon the shadows pulls his swords away from him. Now not only was he unarmed and weak, but a prisoner as well. Still, if they thought he wasn't dangerous then they had another thing coming. Just because he didn't have his usual style of combat handy didn't mean he was useless....not by a long shot. "Alright, lead on. I'll keep up."

"I think you like risky don't you?" Nova commented." We're leaving."

Nova turned around. "You stay in the middle. Trinity, Alec you're behind him. Kerana, you're with me. Aishi I can take you to the nearest village. You should be alright there." Nova said and began to walk. He wanted Trinity and Alec in the last row so that they could keep an eye on Veran. He trusted Trinity with his back enough. Alec was there so that he could also keep a good eye on him. Plus Kerena was also in his constant eye sight.

Trinity heard Nova's order and abided by it. Though the knives she took were in the Shadow Realm, they were in an easy to reach place. She wanted to some how take a better look at the runes and see if perhaps she could find out more in the library. She would admit that runes weren't her forte.

Taking the rear with Alec she now had placed a new level of confidence fighting along side Alec considering what he's been capable of as of late. "That form you took, it wasn't like the one before right? What happened?"

Alec thought about it for a moment, but he was unable to come up with a concrete answer.

"I don't really know. The wolf-kin are supposed to find their own path to unity with their spirit, so I was told next to nothing about how it happens."

"All I know is that Kerana was in danger, and that, for lack of a better term, awakened something inside of me. I felt a better connection to my spirit than ever before. Even that time the Fae had taken her soul didn't compare to what I felt a moment ago." he explained.

He merely shrugged as he was surrounded and followed the two in front of him. They were cautious and even if they didn't realize it, he was learning about them even as they walked. The girl, Kerana, seemed to have some kind of issue with the man next to her. The man behind him, Alec, was definitely powerful and sounded like he had some kind of connection to a spirit possibly. He had also mentioned Fae...had he really fought one earlier? The girl, Trinity, was the one from before. She seemed very knowledgeable and he could tell she took an interest in the runes upon his blades.

He'd have to make sure she didn't try to pry further. The ice blade was one of his own design..more luck than skill at the time and as for Alexa, she wasn't going to be pulled for awhile. He wanted her to sleep for as long as she could. Passive aggressive behavior for turning on him back there. He'd have to make sure he kept up appearances for now. No sense drawing any more unwanted trouble.

"Interesting, well, it looks like you're on the right path." She notices the silence with Kerana and Nova. "Is it just me? Or do those two seem to be more alike than they realize? At least I get the sense that when Nova was her age, he was very much like her, ambitious."
