Courtyard (South)

[Krazy Kaori]

Kana glanced over as she saw a movement from the corner of her eye, discovering soon it was the male returning her wave. She grinned, happy she hadn't been ignored. She watched him a bit longer, tilting her head curiously as his head jerked up. Her eyes followed as he pulled out a binder, rather tattered and worn looking. Kana found herself nearly bouncing in place with her urge to know what he was doing, but at the same time didn't wish to bother him with her presence. She ended up biting her lip with a fang, careful not to pierce the skin, and then slipped down onto the ground, leaning against the fountain's edge she'd previously been sitting upon.

Mead continued writing, and he also noticed that she was curious as to what he was doing, so he got up, and walked over to her, and sat down near her, and said "Hey."
He wasn't much for conversation starters, but he wanted to at least say something. He flipped back ten pages, to the very first page in his biander, which showed a crude cover page, to what he had been writing labeled 'Symptom: Unbearable Pain'. He handed her the biander, and said "Feel free to read it if you want, It's probably not good, but I think it is."

Kana blinked as he spoke and felt her eyes widen slightly. "H-hello!" she cried quickly. "I-I'm sorry for interrupting you!" But she couldn't help smiling as he sat down nearby and she shifted slightly, straightening her back against the stone behind it. Her head tilted curiously again as he offered the binder. She searched his face breifly before taking it carefully, as if afraid she'd damage it. Her eyes scanned the cover page, causing her ears to droop very slightly. "Unbearable pain?" she read aloud, casting him an almost worried look. Was he in 'unbearable pain'? Then she spoke aloud again with a grin. "I'm sure it's all very wonderful!" She flipped through the binder, turning each page gently as she took care not to tear anything.

"Don't worry, its nothing to do with me... its all fictional, with a completely fictional character." he reassured her, almost like as if he knew that the idea of 'unbearable pain' worried her. He sat there silent, allowing her to look over his story, expecting to hear lots of critism, constructive or not. He also reajusted himself against the stone, and awaited her thoughts on the story.

Kana bowed her head over the book in concentration as she read. At the mention of him leaving his family, Kana's face looked saddened. Then she actually looked scared as it told of his home being burnt down. She bit her lip anxiously, large fangs showing obviously as she read of the man thinking of his enemies. After she finished the first part, she raised her head slightly, staring at him for a moment.

She then breathed out in releif as he said it wasn't about him. "Oh, that's good..." she murmured, smiling again. "I'm curious about what he saw in the forest." She nodded and then bowed her head to begin reading again. She failed to realize she let every emotion she felt show through on her face.

Mead just smiled, as he looked at every expression she made as she read the story, and then thought 'She should wait to see the third part, which isn't in there, thats when it gets exciting!' he continued to watch her expressions, as she read through the next part of the story.

Kana continued biting her lip as she read, looking anxious as it mentioned the man being questioned by a guard, and seeming irritated at the king's rudeness. Her eyes widened slightly at the part about an explosion, and then she finished, blinking at the male next to her. "I-it moves very fast!" she said, looking almost dazed. Then she recovered and smiled, handing the binder carefully back to him. "But I like it," she nodded, tail flicking absently behind her as she sat. Her ears kept twitching as well, trying to find the best angle to hear him from.

[I have to go pack a cooler real quick. xP
Edit-I have a softball game now! I'll probably be back sometime after nine. ><;;]

He looked amused at all of her different reactions to the story. "I know it moves a little bit too fast, but, I needed to move it along to the third part, which is still in progress..." he then said "Sorry about it though, I tried to make it so it wasn't as fast." he then thought for a second. "Well, I bet there will be some parts where it is very slow as well." he then added "Want me to let you know when the next part is done?"
He took the biander back, since he didn't want her to read on, but he didn't take it back with force. "I hope you don't mind, but I don't want you to lose some surprise factor by reading on.  

[Jake Easy]

"It sounds like an awful amount of work, if you ask me." He said, sliding off the tree. "But, then again, you didn't ask me." Landing on his feet, he crossed his arms loosely. "I suppose I'll accompany you. Nothing better to do. I lack proper apparel, however." He said, as he pulled up his hood.  

[Jake Easy]

He held the shorts by two fingers, holding it away from his faced, as though it were toxic. "Are you sure these are sanitary?" He asked, a disgusted look on his face as he begun to follow her. "It doesn't seem very hygenical to me, to be honest..."  

[Dittman]

Streching his arms, Steven is happy that he gets to see some sunlight. He loved being outdoors and not inside he walks to the nearest tree and sits down. The Sun beating down on his eyes he feels tired from his first day of school. He closes his eyes and just thinks to himself wondering how his school year will go.

Mead opens the biander, and ajusts his body so that she cannot see what he is writing. He continues to write, hoping to finnish off his third part so he can show her the third part. 'What to write next?' he then thought, as a brilliant idea popped into his head, and he started writing that idea down.

Warren nodded. "I'm fine and I really don't know..All these years I been hiding them..So I never really get to fly with them." Warren said to Yuki. Warren sat by the fountain and dipped his hands in the water feeling the so "free" water in his hands. The water was warm. He always thought every single fountain had cold water. I guess he was wrong.
