More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Deora seemed to have distracted herself a bit too well with her practice, and she barely nibbled at the muffins before her. She didn't notice that Kerana had finished and gotten up until a minute or so after the fact. When she looked up to see where her friend had gone, she was worried to see the girl looking at her computer with a depressed look on her face. That just wouldn't do. Deora got up, leaving her unfinished muffins and bowl of now-rippling water to go see what was wrong. "Que pasa, Kerana? What's wrong?"

"Sure thing" Liv replied as she helped Amanda set the table."I am a regenerator so that should mean that my blood has healing properties....just not sure on what effect it could have on a non-Meta. Ahh nevermind" Liv shook her head to dismiss the idea of a blood transfusion.

The gravitational pull on him had gotten a lot greater. It was harder to keep his arms up due to the ever increasing amount of physical power he needed to even move. He had been able to counter that so far but this time Theonis was really struggling. It was time to try and change the way he used his power if he really wanted to get past this level.

s**t...I still think and calculate to get the proper amount.... Stop calculating....Feel...don't think....feel.

He closed his eyes, his breathing steadied, his arms felt less heavy and Theonis could feel the pull on his body become less. Right now he was teaching himself an alternate way on how to control his power.

Annie raised a brow at what Shane said. "Why does it not surprise me with those girls?" Annie asked.

Sighing she stretched one last time and said as she walked to the door, "Okay. Off we go then."

Shane throws on his hoodie and jacket combo. He can feel the excitement coursing through him. He is out, and his work will continue. Nothing is going to stop him from obtaining what he needs to bring his sister back.

He follows Annie out, then calls to the sisters. "You three ready to go?"

The front door opened as Tansy walked though. She looked younger, her skin a darker tan, her hair straighter, her body was almost too thin, and no wings. She blushed softly as she closed the door. "Sorry about the mess. Lilith was never one for cleaning, and most of the time I was to tried to try..." She slipped her hands into the back pockets of her jeans and smiled. "This is were my sister and I lived before... everything." She smiled fondly as she walked over to the small end table and picked up a picture of herself and her sister. "It was the first time we actually had a stable roof over our heads. The landlord had moved here from Russia, and I guess he felt as if we had something in common. Even though we could barely afford to pay for the rent, he kept letting us stay." She turned and looked back to Gigdet. "Even though we had nothing, we were always happy.... I often... wonder.. how she held up after I left. That was my biggest regret. That I didn't go to her after I woke up in that coffin. There were so many times I just wanted to fly to this apartment and make sure she was okay..." A sad smile pasted over her lips as she set the picture down and turned to her friend. "None of you knew this, but I wasn't exactly and Angel before all of this happened... Hell. i wasn't one afterwards either." She sighed as she moved closer to the woman. "I should warn you... This won't be as easy as you seem to think that it will be."

The door to the bedroom opened slightly, but no other movement was made.

Gidget is shocked at Tansy's appearance. She had seen a black and white photo of her in the obituary after the first meteor shower, and so she had no idea that her friend was tanned. She has always known her as the fair skinned angel.

She watches Tansy muse over her past. After she gives her warning, Gidget walks over to her and places a hand on her shoulder. "I didn't think it..."

Gidget takes her hand off of Tansy's shoulder and stares at it. She then places her hands together gently and clasps them. She huffs, and a signle tear rolls down her cheek. She looks back up at Tansy with a deep inhale and says, "I can feel."

She rubs her eyes with her forearm and sniffles. She then shakes her head and rubs her face with her hands before looking back at Tansy. "No time for that, I'm here for you."

She had heard the bedroom door move before she got distracted with the sudden return of sensation. She turns toward the bedroom and walks to the door, pushing it open slowly and peeking her head in.

"Yes Ma'am! It is my duty to report sightings of sexy meta's straight to base!" Liv said while saluting Amanda in a military way. After which she left the room.

He didn't respond to Richard at first. His mind was still elsewhere. But after a short while the strain of the gravitational pull was gone." I'm fine...in fact...you can turn it up" Theonis said as he kept his focus on his breathing.

Giggles floated out of the room as Lia came bounding out. "Yup!" She answered cheerfully.

Jezebel followed behind at a more normal pace, her arms crossed over her chest as she sighed and flipped her hair back over her shoulders. "What she said." She muttered as she pointed to the youngest sister.

Kali joined the pair and nodded, a soft sound barely escaping her lips as she too agreed.

"And you wanted to jump 5 levels every with step before," Theonis laughed to himself."It's alright man, I've got this."

The pressure increased once more but thanks to Richard's slow but steady increase he could adapt to it just fine.

Giggles floated out of the room as Lia came bounding out. "Yup!" She answered cheerfully.

Jezebel followed behind at a more normal pace, her arms crossed over her chest as she sighed and flipped her hair back over her shoulders. "What she said." She muttered as she pointed to the youngest sister.

Kali joined the pair and nodded, a soft sound barely escaping her lips as she too agreed.

Moments later, after Shane had hot-wired another vehicle, the group finds themselves on the road bound for North Carolina.

Shane addresses everybody at once. "Once we've crossed into the next state, I'll pull over so we can get some more supplies. Things are too hot here. No doubt everyone but Annie's face has been plastered across the news by now. I can work around that, but you three are going to be a problem. Can hair dye cover up your hair?"

Trinity looked at Richard with a cocked eyebrow. Her expression asked 'is this true?'

"Hey! Don't look at me like that. Super strengthened metas need a tougher starting point and to make sure the metas are provided a challenge we provide a different starting point. It's all standard proceedure."

"Proceedure has changed. From now on you ask 'To your knowledge, is super strength one of your meta powers?' Then if they say yes provide them that option. I want to make sure that no macho-headed meta get themselves hurt because you gave them the option without figuring out if they could handle it first! Is that clear?!" Her eyes glowed emphasizing her point. Keeping metas safe in any way possible was always her priority. Granted she wasn't always gracious about it. She experienced first hand what it could do to you if you weren't ready for the next level.

When it came to training in the gravitational room she manage to work her way up to level 102. It was very high for a meta that didn't have super strength, only building on the the athletic strength she had and trained whenever she had the free time.

"Y-yes sir." he checked the stats again. Then asks through th mic, "Theonis how are you doing? Do you want to try the next level?"

"I'm sorry Deora..." her eyes welled a little and she rubbed them a little. "A good friend of mine died yesterday. Thing is ... there really wasn't anything I could do about it. When I saw him yesterday... it was already too late." She took a deep breath. "Gidget reassured me that being his friend was the best thing I could do for him. Alas... it seemed he saw me as something more than that...I saw him... dying...and I couldn't do anything. It almost felt like he was taken away...too soon." Her breath started to stutter a little and she grabs a tissue.

Deora was saddened by the news, as any person with a heart would be, but she didn't know what she should do. What do you do when your new roommate loses her boyfriend within the first two days of your arrival? She sat down beside Kerana and put an arm around her shoulders, giving her a hug. "It's okay Kerana." She said. She didn't really know why, that's just what everyone always seemed to say in these situations.

"Bring her up 2 after when I'm done. Getting the hang of this." Theonis said as he walked towards the weight bar. The total weight was 50 kg. But with the multiplied gravity that would be a total of 250 kg. He knew he couldn't lift it normally but with his powers...well that's a different story. Theonis braced himself because he thought that it would still take him a lot of effort. But to his surprise he could lift it without even trying. It looked like his new way of controlling his powers really did make a huge difference. It seemed it didn't matter if he held it in one had or both.

"Interesting....you can crank it up now Richard!" Theonis said after he put it down.

Tansy kept talking, as if Gigdet was still standing right next to her. "I'm not crazy. I know that must be what everyone thinks..."

As Gigdet peeked through the door, there sat Tansy sat at the edge of the bed reading a book. She sighed as she glanced up, brushing her hair out of her face as she did so. "Gigdet?" She looks confused for a second before she stands, the book sliding out of her lap. "What are you doing here?"

"But I'm really not crazy." Tansy sighed as she wrapped her arms around herself, and turned back to see Gigdet standing by the door of the bedroom. "Gigde?"
