Phew, today they finally came rolleyes
It seems that one of my friends (Beth) had an ear ache yesterday and didnt want to go to school since there were 2 PE assessments that day, typical rolleyes She had lots of ear aches in the past i dont see her getting a day off school in those days stare i got ear aches every now and then and i dont complain stare
And my other friend the proper skiver (Mina) was actually skiving yesterday as always rolleyes her excuses are like
"i had to stay at home yesterday to help my mum with the baby" - might be true
"i was nearly dying yesterday, cos i had a blackout" - fairly reasonable
"i was staying at my brothers house yesterday" - not quiet true
"i felt sick yesterday" - she uses that a lot, and she seems perfectly fine whenever i see her on skiving days picking her brother up from school rolleyes
"im moving soon and i gotta help pack up" - true that she is moving soon but why isnt she going to pack up during the holidays or after school? when i go to her house there isnt much stuff there to pack up stare

lol. I skipped school once, and I almost went nuts. I had nothing to do. I stayed home all day... I remember thinking "I wanna go to school" lol. btw what's netball?

xd
guess netball isnt known in the USA very well sweatdrop
its kinda like basketball, though you cant dribble it but only pass it within 3 seconds, you also have to stay in some specific areas, like wing Defence has to stay within the 2/3 of the court but not the semi circle 3nodding its all very confusing to explain but its easier to google it sweatdrop
and netball is an all girls game

Well, some boys actually do play netball; in primary schools and most secondary schools, at least in Australia they teach it to both boys and girls. But you're right in saying that netball is an all-girl game; any guy who actually wants to play it would be branded forever as 'unmanly' by his friends. xd

Yep.
And in my school and the neighbouring boys school,
Along with many others,
You get teased for life.
Or until you do something else that's embarrasing.

It's interesting how the sexism has been completely reversed in terms of sports in the last 50 years. Girls are able to play practically any sport that males tend to dominate and get away with it. Indeed, at the Olympics and the Commonwealth games, there are male/female competitions of every single sport...except netball. xd Ever noticed that? It's like all males are practically debarred from participating in that sport at all, for fear of shaming their male honour forever.

Whoa eek
you aussie's are really different from the british xd
I have never seen a boy play netball before, it would be pretty weird/funny if i ever saw that to happen lol
Since netball is only for girls in the UK, the boys get to do rugby, only for boys, well that only happens in high school rolleyes
When i was in primary school boys still dont do netball, however the girls can do any sport, even rugby eek
So actually girls can do any sports they want only in primary school, however boys cannot do netball, even though i get the feeling they do not want to play netball anyway rolleyes

We boys had to play netball in primary school. It was okay, not too bad. rolleyes

Is lacross primarily a girls' game? As we still sometimes play it at the secondary school I'm at right now.

Oh no lacrosse is actually male-dominated. I've rarely seen females play it at all. At my old high school we used to have a lacrosse team play other schools.

According to wikipedia it's played by both sexes, two teams of ten for men, and two teams of twelve for women. So if it is played by both sexes then I don't know why some people at my school think it's girly. confused

I've never thought Lacrosse as a girly sport, since I was introduced to it in a boys-only school. As far as I know, netball's the only sport that was created solely by women.

Animal Fun is a classic. Everyone must study it by Year 11. It is decreed in all the law of all English Intelligenstia I think. If not, you have to study 1984 instead. Everyone knows about 1984, don't they? If you young'uns don't, think Big Brother. pirate

"Believe of me what you will
There is a duty that I'm sworn to do
You know nothing of my life
All I did was steal some bread
You know nothing of the world
You would sooner see me dead
But not before I see this justice done

I am warning you Javert
I'm a stronger man by far
There is power in me yet
My race is not yet run
I am warning you Javert
There is nothing I won't dare
If I have to kill you here
I'll do what must be done!"
