More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Something came over Trinity which made her sit back and bit her thumb as she watched Theonis lift the weight that was now 5 times its normal weight. It wasn't an admirance of something he could do that she couldn't. She knew she very well could but it seemed to be just watching him lift the weight, watching his muscle tone flex sent shivers down her spine. It wasn't that obvious, it looked like she was thinking deeply about something, which in a sense, she was. As he let go of the weight and made his request to Richard. Trinity let out a sigh and had to get rid of the idea of making any move. She very well knew that there was no time for that kind of relationship and it wouldn't be fair to him. Whomever 'him' would be. She pulled out the water bottle Theonis gave to her earlier and took a drink. Her throat felt dry all of the sudden.

"Okay you got it Theonis!" Richard slowly moved the levels up two notches, just as slowly as he did before. He watched Theonis' stats carefully. "Ok... you are officially now on level 7."

Ako awoke to the sound of a wailing guitar solo playing through the room's surround speakers. He'd figured out the sound system soon after entering the room, and had set it to play some of his favorite rock bands at a comfortable level. It had been a while since he'd fallen asleep to good music, and he woke up well rested. He sat up in bed and ran a hand through his messy hair, groaning as he stretched. He was so used to moving around from place to place, he'd made himself at home quickly here. He'd already figured out the closet and it's features, as well as the kitchen and of course, the entertainment center. While the music played and his clothes washed, He decided it would be a good time to take advantage of the shower and get rid of all the accumulated dust.

Once he could see a clean version of himself in the mirror, he got caught up in a bit of narcissism as he looked over the collection of scars he'd gotten on his travels. His body, which could still pass for someone in their early twenties, was covered with lines and dots from cuts and punctures, along with a few marks along his eyebrows from a busted scalp or two, and plenty of burns of varying degrees along his arms. Though he'd nearly mastered control of his power, sometimes it was impossible to avoid injury.

Ako collected his clothes when the laundry chimed that it was done, and soon he was dressed just the same as he was when he came in, but cleaner. now, after grabbing a Coke from the fridge, he plopped down on the couch to try and figure out what to do for the day.

Tansy kept talking, as if Gigdet was still standing right next to her. "I'm not crazy. I know that must be what everyone thinks..."

As Gigdet peeked through the door, there sat Tansy sat at the edge of the bed reading a book. She sighed as she glanced up, brushing her hair out of her face as she did so. "Gigdet?" She looks confused for a second before she stands, the book sliding out of her lap. "What are you doing here?"

"But I'm really not crazy." Tansy sighed as she wrapped her arms around herself, and turned back to see Gigdet standing by the door of the bedroom. "Gigde?"

Gidget looks to Tansy in the bedroom, then to the one behind her. She looks as if she is about to say something, then looks back at the one in the bedroom. She finally turns back to the Tansy behind her and asks, "Did you know you have a mental doppelganger? I thought she would look different, but she looks just like you."

As the gravity increased his power fluctuated a bit to adjust to it. Theonis tried to stay calm but he could not help wondering what his limit was. So far he had managed to stay standing. When his power was steady once more he lifted up the weight again. He could feel the gravity pulling it down towards the ground.Time to get a little crazy. Theonis tried to spin it around his hand like a pole and was rather surprised that his managed to fling something around that was 350 kg like it was nothing. He felt like he needed a greater challenge because he was getting slightly bored. When his eyes spotted a second weight bar with the same weight he tried to lift it up as well.

It was a lot harder than the first one. Most likely because he was already holding up 350 kg while canceling out the pressure from the gravity. But still he succeeded in doing so. Fully extending his arms besides him, he held up both of the weights. His muscles tightened. It was only natural but still the strain felt more than it should be. Regardless he began his little work out.

"2 More if you please Richard!" Theonis said, his face showing a unusual level of focus than he is used to.

The Tansy in the living room paused for a moment, before moving towards the door, as the Tansy in the bedroom took a step closer. They looked at each other as though the doorway were a mirror.

"What are you talking about?" Both of them asked at the same time. "We look nothing alike." They chanted as the both turned to her, strange smiles on their faces as the move side by side in the doorway. Their teeth perfectly white, but jagged and sharp like that of an animal. They cocked their heads in opposite directions from each other as they grinned to the woman. "Are you sure you're okay?" They ask in mock comfort, the voice distorted, inhuman as their arms snaking around each others shoulders, their eyes now glowing red, their tongues looking more like a snakes with each passing second. "You should have never entered the mind of a crazy angel." As the pair speaks in the distorted voice once more, their voice come not from their bodies, but from all around them, their sharp toothed mouths no longer moving as they continue to stair a hole through the woman with their blazing red eyes.


"Gigdet?" Tansy's real voice breaks through as she places her hand gently on Gigdet's shoulder and looked into the bedroom empty bedroom. "Are you alright?"

For a moment, Gidget can only wait and see what these warped clones of her friend will do. She hunches their shoulders up and shuts her eyes tight. For a split second, she wishes that she was back to being emotionless.

She is snapped out of her terror by Tansy's touch, her wonderful wonderful touch. Gidget jumps and gasps, turning to face her friend. She gauges by Tansy's reaction that she didn't see what she just saw. She takes a deep breath and swallows before responding. "Yea, I just thought I saw something."

"Well, this is your mind-scape. Where does the other you like to hang out?"

Fear flashed in Tansy's eyes. She swallowed the lump in Her thoart. "Do you remember what I told you about when I was dead. How there was nothing but darkness." She paused for a moment. "That's where she stays."

Gidget thought for a moment. "The darkness huh? Okay then, I guess its time to turn the lights out."

Gidget steps all the way into the bedroom and flicks the light switch off on her way in. She looks back at Tansy with a look of grim determination and asks, "Would you close the door please?"

Trinity liked watching but began to feel she was enjoying it too much. She needed to work on something to get her mind off of him. Richard didn't seem to notice how much Trinity was enjoying watching Theonis. She stood up and turned toward Richard. "Richard, call me at this number when he's done." she handed him a card with her smart phone number on it. "There are some matters I need to attend to."

Richard nodded and put the card con the control board where he could see it. "Will do Ms. Smith." He heard Theonis' request, "You got it.". As before, Richard slowly moved it up two levels. Poking at Theonis' stats checking for how much stress his body was handling. Also he was able to get a visual of how much power he was putting out. Finally he reached level 9, "Ok, here's level 9. Don't wear yourself out, I see you are using a lot of energy to stay standing."

"If that's what you want..." Tansy sighed softly as she leaned forwards and closed the door slowly behind Gigdet, the room slowly becoming void of all light. As soon as the door closed, the turning of the lock could be heard. All was quite as the darkness, for a moment at least. Soft whimmpering could be heard off in the distance, larger then the room should have been.

Now he was definitely feeling it. Like Richard said he was using a lot of energy. His arms felt a lot heavier than his legs but that was because of the weights he was still holding up. Lifting them now proved to be very difficult but he forced himself to do so. But he was getting into it. You never know where your limits lie unless to go there. Theonis was going to try one more level to see if that was his limit. Even if it was...being able to lift 1000 kg while canceling out his own increased weight is quite the feat.

"Richard....one more. I need to know if I can do level 10. I'll call it a day afterwards" Theonis said while retaining his focus.

"Okay you got it. Are there any other scenarios you want to try?" Richard asked as he slowly, carefully turn up the notch to level 10. When he reached level 10 he let Theonis know.

The strain on his muscles was incredible despite his powers. This really was his limit when it came to lifting weights. He had achieved what he had set out to do. It was good to know what his current limit was. Lifting 1000 kg was a nice feat he could do. He could go on for much longer defying gravity if he wasn't focusing on the weights. Yeah he was done here for now.

By mistake he dropped the weights. The amplified gravity instantly caused them to crash into the ground with a crashing sound. The sound alone was enough to spook Theonis.

"Sorry! Sorry!" Theonis apologized."Kinda slipped my mind...sorry...I'mma....I'm done here for now..." Theonis said panting.

"If that's what you want..." Tansy sighed softly as she leaned forwards and closed the door slowly behind Gigdet, the room slowly becoming void of all light. Soft whimmpering could be heard off in the distance, larger then the room should have been.

Gidget looks in the direction of the whimpering. Even though this is Tansy's mind, Gidget knows that this projection is of her own creation. Sensation was unexpected and welcome, but in Gidget's mind she is still a machine.

A compartment in her shoulder open and displays a small flashlight. The light clicks, and a bright cone emanates from it. She isn't surprised when it makes no headway into the darkness. She takes a deep breath and starts walking toward the soft crying.
