More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Now he was definitely feeling it. Like Richard said he was using a lot of energy. His arms felt a lot heavier than his legs but that was because of the weights he was still holding up. Lifting them now proved to be very difficult but he forced himself to do so. But he was getting into it. You never know where your limits lie unless to go there. Theonis was going to try one more level to see if that was his limit. Even if it was...being able to lift 1000 kg while canceling out his own increased weight is quite the feat.

"Richard....one more. I need to know if I can do level 10. I'll call it a day afterwards" Theonis said while retaining his focus.

"Ok before you come back down I need to slowly bring down the gravity so that it would not be too much of a shock to your body, please be patient. I'll let you know when you're clear to come back out." He set the system to auto drop the gravity by .25 the level. When the auto settings were set he gave Trinity a call.

Trinity wasn't far when she got the call. If she knew he would be wrapping up this soon she would have stayed. She dropped through her shadow emerged in her room and changed her clothes. Quickly she took a look in the mirror and made sure her hair looked alright and added a little dark read lipstick and used a tissue to get rid of the excess. If Gidget saw her now she'd raise an eyebrow. She couldn't help herself she felt the need to look good for him. She was wondering if it was shallow of her for trying or if this was sort of natural. After she was ready to go she emerged from a corner of the room where Richard was and saw that Theonis' level was at 3 by the time she got there.

It wasn't much longer until the level hit zero. "Okay Theonis, you can come out now."

As the gravity decreased so did his 'counter'. He began to appreciate the normal gravity more and more. Theonis also used that time to catch his breath.It was a strange kind of tired. A mixture of physical and mental but in a strange way. Or it could just be that he wasn't used to this sort of thing yet. Most likely both. Since he was getting kind of warm he decided to take of his shirt. He wouldn't do that normally but since he was wearing a short sleeved shirt underneath he'd be fine. When taking of his long sleeved shirt his ponytail fell out causing his hair to hang. Theonis looked around to try to find the little rubber band that he used for his hair but couldn't find it. Ahh well. s**t happens. With that he left the training room.

Trinity was near the door as it opened, revealing Theonis with his shirt off and his hair down. His golden eyes became a bit more noticeable and so were his arms. Feelings rushed over her like a wave of numb, her face flushed. Just the first look of him after all his hard work took her breath away. Her eyes kept looking at his arms in that tight under shirt not doing much to conceal his biceps with sweat here and there. She managed to pull herself together enough to ask, "W-would you like to j-join me for breakfast? I haven't eaten yet... you look..." she wanted to give him a compliment so bad but she felt it would appear coming on to strong, and she most certainly didn't want to scare him off. She swallowed hard and finished her sentence, "like you could take a break."

She couldn't help but feel like she had unraveled and become the young shy girl that first came to Valhalla. A side of her that she had hoped would not surface again, it made her feel so vulnerable. Vulnerable toward what, she wondered, love? She rested her cheek upon her hand in attempt to at least hide some of the blushing.

Richard continued to be oblivious as to what was going on and offered Theonis, "Would you like a towel? Oh I think you also brought this with you." he gave Theonis his water bottle that he brought in earlier.

Kerana

Kerana took comfort in her friend's embrace. She really didn't mean to make her feel bad too. They barely knew each other and already Kerana emotionally seemed to be asking a lot of her. Kerana took a deep breath, "I'll be alright Deora...Gidget had told me he wouldn't want me to be sad about his death all the time..." She let's out a sigh, "so... I'll try harder to not let it bother me." With that... she started to scroll down the page to find out what events are happening today. There seemed to be showing movies at three of the entertainment centers. Normally they were used for presentations, games or if you reserved ahead of time movies you brought yourselves. It looks like there are three movies showing, "Madagascar, Iron Man and Ever After. Quite a wide range of categories there..."

Deora released Kerana when she seemed to be feeling better, but suppressed a groan when she started listing movies. She could hardly ever stand to go to the movies, she hated just sitting there watching other people or cartoons when she could be out living her life. "You planning to go see a movie?" She asked, trying to remain sympathetic.

He nodded and accepted the bottle of water, which he started drinking right away. Theonis noticed this...change in Trinity. Besides the change of clothes and lipstick which looked good on her. Was this really the same woman he met up with earlier? She seemed more timid and shy than he thought she could even be. Not that he minded though. He had no problem with shy woman nor strong ones. But what happened to the strong Trinity? Did something happen while he was training? Or... was this...change because of him? Would explain it but he decided not to draw rushed conclusions.

"Sure thing Trin," Despite him not needing to eat a lot, using this level of power seemed to have made him a bit hungry himself."I could use a break. Never really lifted 1000 kg before."

"Keep the towel Richard, this isn't much besides I don't mind" He couldn't be more accurate because he didn't care about it.

Trinity felt relieved as he answered, her blush faded a little. She knew she had to get it together not just for her sake but for Valhalla's. She took a deep breath and turned to Richard and said with a little more confidence, "We'll see you later Richard and don't forget what I mentioned earlier." With that she lead Theonis out of the training center and toward the cafeteria.

The cafeteria had this "Cheesecake Factory" feel to it. There were paintings on the ceiling, the over all color scheme gave it a warm atmosphere with faded yellows, mahogany, and orange. Trinity put together her usual, oatmeal with some raisins and instead of her usual mocha frapacino, she decided to go with some cranberry juice. She felt at the rate her heart was beating with Theonis, the caffeine would only make it explode. For a moment she looked up where her security tower was, but being with Theonis, it probably wouldn't be the best place to eat right now. Besides it probably would be a bad idea to have him watch some the security cameras, especially considering she still suspected him to be the mole. She couldn't let her feelings blind her to the notion that he may be a security risk. With that in mind she thought it best to have breakfast out in the open. She found a table and sat down waiting for Theonis to join her.

The cafeteria felt warm and comfortable. Wasn't all that bad. He went with a protein rich breakfast. Despite him not caring all that much about things he did eat healthy food and looked after himself. Theonis had a couple of boiled eggs, toast with some strawberry jam and orange juice. He was beginning to like the fact that he came here. He sat down at the table Trinity was at. He had been wanting to say it since he saw her. Ah screw it.

"You look good by the way" Theonis said straight out as he looked at her.

Trinity blushed a little at the fact he noticed her efforts. Caught up in that train a thought she almost chocked on a raisin, she cleared her throat and said, "... thank you...". With that out on the table she dared to look back and said, "You're...uh... pretty easy on the eyes yourself...". she looked down at her oatmeal and mixed it up a little.

The back of her mind shouted scream You idiot!...You're making yourself look bad. This isn't how the head of security should act! You're not that shy girl in high school! C'mon man up Trin! Man up! None of this reflected on her face her expression. She tried to change the subject a little, "So uh.. what level did you get up to?"

Cute... He though as he saw her respond to his compliment by nearly chocking. When she was recovering from that he took a bite out of his toast. Her compliment gave him a bit of a smile himself. Giving compliments was always easier than getting them. He didn't expect her to return the compliment just as fast. Theonis never could keep a straight face when complimented.

"Heh...thanks." He responded." I managed to get up to level 10. Could have been there a lot longer if I hadn't insisted on holding those weights. So what about you? You also done that training yourself?"

"10 is impressive for the first day. Most people can't seem to get pass level 5, which you seemed to surpass quite easily. I have done a lot of training in there myself and managed to reach level 102, it took me 13 years to get there though." she rubbed her arm a little, then took her trench cloak off and put it right next to her she drank of her juice.

Her physique, wasn't big and bulky, pretty much slender and toned. Pretty much like Theonis' body in a way. Even though he was slim he was well built, which was part of why Trinity couldn't keep her eyes off of him. It was kind of weird still considering she had been surrounded by soldiers on a daily bases, big guys, built guys and toned guys. Granted she could agree that some of them had good looks, she knew that North, the soldier that died yesterday, had a following. She could see why but did not feel the same. There were certain qualities to Theonis she liked that she never saw with others. Also going on about subjects she like was a big plus there.

Since Theonis was very pleased with his own performance, when Trinity said that she had pretty much beaten his score by tenfold, he was dumb folded. He gave her a bit of a surprised look.

"Wait...102...seriously? No wonder you are head of Security! I'll try not to get into trouble while I am here. There's no way I could beat you." He spoke up jokingly. When she took of her coat he certainly did not look away. There's no way...

"You wouldn't say when I look at you that you could handle that. But man..102 is a lot. Guess I still got ways to go huh?" He really did admire the fact that she could do that. He didn't feel defeated or anything since she did say that he did well on his first time while she had 13 years to do so.

Trinity felt bad about admitting what her current limit was to Theonis. Normally she'd like the reaction and feel proud of her accomplishments. But this time she felt a little guilty taking his pride away. Yet when he spoke, it seemed to speak of it as a new goal to reach, she smiled at that.
"I bet you'll get there in no time especially with your power. There are a few other metas out there that can do much more than I can. Though, they started off having super strength from the meteor. I on the other hand started off with an athletic build when the meteor hit and since I got here, I wanted to build on that."

"So..you are not augmented in strength but still managed to pull that off? Wow that's....quite the achievement you have there." He said as he began to admire that about her.

He looked at his egg but didn't feel like peeling it. Instead he put his finger onto of the egg and amplified the pressure on it. And luckily for him it worked the way he wanted it. Cracks ran all the way down to the bottom of the egg and with a second tap the shell fell off.

"Damn...I really am some kind of genius with this. Never done that before." Surprise about his own ability.

Trinity smiled and nodded at his display, "Good control. However there's more than one way to get an egg out of its shell." With that she placed her hand on the table an focused on the egg. It wobbled a little and Trinity pulled out the egg from the shadow of her hand and held it up. She didn't mean to show off this time but wondered how she would get the egg out of the shell.
