 Good evening everyone. Melissa and I have been playing Mario Galaxy Party for the past few hours.
Just was watching Minnie running around the living room, occasionally growling when she got to the window. Pretty funny to listen to her, because it sounds so silly, especially when she's trying to growl while she's running - sounds more like panting, lol.

I can't understand how Melissa can wait for so long to have dinner. I was starting to feel the affects last night when I didn't get dinner until 9... but then again, I was dealing with other side effects from other issues... but still. This girl needs her food at the usual times - or close to it, anyway.

I've started figuring out a way of having Minnie get to sleep faster and without too much whining and scraping/banging the door like that first night - catch her when she's already napping. I've gotten her in her sleepy mode the past couple nights and she quickly goes to bed after a few minutes of roaming around and settling down. Very nice to get a good night's worth of sleep.

 I had two interesting dreams last night.
The first one surprised me a bit on who starred in it - Gordon Ramsey - but I enjoyed it. Me and a friend (I don't think I could ever identify which one it was) were going to this small food stand/place because it was a Ramsey "restaurant"... and I wanted to meet him. Ramsey and I instantly got chatting.
And then I got woken up by Minnie... *sighs*
After going back to bed to get some more sleep, I had another dream of going to some gathering event where people could dress up in fantasy costumes and JoEllen Elam (www.firefly-path.com) was there. From what I could tell of my dream self, I think I was wearing a costume made by her... that or I inspired by her. *shrugs* Another nice dream.

Just had some yummy barbecue chicken for an early dinner. It was Melissa's first time barbecuing. Definitely a great success! :)

 While Melissa was BBQ-ing, I was playing with Minnie - mostly making splash sounds with my hand and send sprays of water around for her to chase after. Occasionally Minnie would go over to the new sprinkler Melissa got specifically for Minnie and drink from one of the spouts before running off as the water started falling down onto her.

Definitely nice that the weather cleared up for today. Hopefully I'll be able to get some good pictures of other folks' fireworks while they're setting them off. Especially with the full moon I noticed last night.
