The Park

[Makensy Frost]

Confused, Lysander tried to figure out what anniversary would make someone be so sad. An anniversary of a death? Of a break up? Feeling lost, he had a feeling he should tell her something, but not knowing everything always made it hard. "Is there anything I can do?" Was that the wrong thing to say?

Letting her clothes lay a mess on the ground, she took off her own necklace that matched Lysanders'. Jumping in the water before she had fully transformed, Jenna stuck her head slightly out of the water only so that you could see her eyes and her nostrils. 'You can look now.' She said to him not having to speak through her mouth.

Mal turned, a smile crossing his fury lips. "Oi! You're one of those water dragons! Or am I wrong?" He asked, not wanting to insult her.

Bellatrix let go. "No, it's ok Lysander. I lost my husband a long time ago. Tommorrow is the day of our wedding." She explained, sighing. "It's just hard for me to move on, been an old widow for years now."

'Water dragon, sea serpent, whatever you want to call us is fine by me.' A smirk could be seen poking out of the water. 'So, you've seen a girl naked before, huh? Can I hear about that story?'

"Ooh.. I'm so sorry, Bell." He had lost his mother and that itself was entirely to hard, but to lose someone he loved more than family. Glancing over at Doll, the bottom of his stomach ached. That would be torture.

Mal smiled. "Well me and Doll were trying to stop the Shadow Theives from taking over Waterdeep so we had to find a way to get in to their guild without being detected. Since she was still practicing her theiving skills, we decided it would be best if I went to map out the area then once we had a plan she would come and attack the Beholder, nasty creatures, that ran the guild. Anyways, I was looking around in the guild and slipped around the corner to go to one of the bedrooms of another theif somewhat incharge to figure out what they were planning. I slipped in and used my invisibility potion to hide, not realising the girl in the other room. She came out of the tub and into the other room...." He laughed nervously a bit , scratching the back of his head.

Bellatrix shrugged. "Well I have to learn to cope with it. 95% of the deaths in Farun are of murders, the other percent is of disease and only around 2% of the people die of old age. It had come my time to learn what death felt like. But for me it was worse than the common man. He loved me, loved a siren. Most men would call me a sl*t and acuse me of sleeping with other men. Men hate sirens and only fall inlove with them when they sing... but he... he loved me all the time and wouldn't listen to their blubbery." Her eyes seemed to tear up, but she was smiling.

Doll looked over at Lysander and sighed. "Farun has three times more deaths in a single day than here on Earth. It can be quite a harsh place."

"Ah, I see. So that means she never knew that you saw her naked, whomever this girl was?" Raising an eyebrow, her smirk turned into a slight frown. She couldn't decide whether that would be worse, knowing someone saw you naked or not knowing.

"I wish there was more that I could do." Setting his hand down on Bellatrix's shoulder, he gave a caring smile. "I'm sure he'd be proud of you, for watching over Doll like you have been." Watching her, he held his pose for a moment longer still feeling unsure about whether or not he was saying the right things.

Mal shrugged. "She seemed to sense me, but I did close my eyes quickly. I mean eventhough she was completely evil she does deserve at least a bit of privacy." He sat down, licking a paw.

Bellatrix just smiled. "Well she was a great friend to me, even in death. So this is just how I repay her." She had known the girl for quite a while, met her a couple of days before she was murdered then still talked to her through her grave.

'Unless she's one of those creepy nudists that I've heard about.' Joking, she plunged the rest of her face under the water for just a little while to enjoy the feel of the water around her. It wasn't until a few minutes later that she had been back up, allowing only the top of her head to be out of the water again. 'What's it like where you come from?' The question had been gnawing at her mind for so long she couldn't hold it in much longer.

Lysander nodded, "I'm glad you've been with her." If it wasn't for Bellatrix, Doll would have died back there.

Mal shrugged. "Well it's very different from Earth and there's a lot of death there. Only because of all the monsters and evils roaming around. I guess you could say it's like a midevil version of earth but with magic and knights and dragons and plenty more. Mostly I've been hearing people describe it exactly like a fantasy rpg or something strange like that. I don't even know what an rpg is..." He put a paw to his head. He could never describe their world, it was too hard. Easier to see, harder to talk about.

Bellatrix smiled. "So am I." She said, hugging Doll with a smile.

'Oooh! No, no. I understand. An RPG is a Role Playing Game..' Realizing that it might be weird that she knows what that is even though she was from the sea, she smirked. 'I know this from a class that we have to take before we're able to get our necklaces, back down in the sea. It's a pretty epic class sometimes, sure it lasts three years.. But what do you expect, we have to know everything so that we'll know what everyone is talking about so we don't look like outcasts.' Being silent for a moment, she realized that what he was explaining sounded terrible and a bit frightening. A place like that really existed? 'I'm sorry though, that place doesn't sound the bit nicest. Except.. I wouldn't mind meeting a knight.' Adding onto that she winked.

Glad to see Bellatrix smiling, he looked off in the direction that his sister had gone. It wasn't until then that he had realized what she had been so excited about. "The lake!" He randomly yelled out, making himself feel embarrassed and stupid. "Ah geez, how could I have not known."

Mal laughed. "Well we call them paladins and most people don't like them, even other paladins." He shook his head sighing. "I met one once, glad to see him go soon. God he was a bugger."

Doll started to laugh then was elbowed by Bellatrix, turning it into a cough and folding her hands in her lap. Looking calm but biting her lip and smiling.

'Ooh, knights aren't knightly over there then?' Frowning, she sighed. She had really wished to meet a real knight, not all the lame ones that protected her and her families castle. 'Ah well, guess you can't expect much from a world full of terror.' She couldn't help but saying, not realizing it could be taken rudely. 'Soo, do you want to go for a ride?' She wasn't sure if he liked the water or not, but the question would answer both.

Hearing Dolls laugh, Lysander turned to her somewhat lost. Had he said something funny? Watching her hold her laughs back, Lysander raised an eyebrow. "Was I that funny, eh?" Smirking, he moved closer to her. "Well, how about we make you have something to really laugh about." Without giving even a single hint of what he was going to do, he began to tickle her.

Mal smiled. "Nine hells I will!" He shouted, forgetting to better explain a paladin.

Doll bit her lip and tried to hold back her laughing but gave in, kicking her feet and giggling like a small girl.

Grinning, Jenna swam closer so that he would easily be able to hop on her back. 'Fast or slow, or slow turning into fast? Or maybe fast turning into slow? Or a mix of the two?' Raising her head out of the water, she looked down at him eyes shining with just as excitement as he had shown her.

After a few moments of tickling, Lysander felt satisfied. Pulling away, he looked down at her with a joyful grin. "Alright, I guess you've had enough." As he laughed his mind couldn't help but worry what his sister was doing. Although she could definitely handle herself, he still couldn't help but worry about her being a little.. Exposing.

Mal grinned. "Surprise me." He said, climbing onto her and holding on tightly.

Doll stopped laughing and looked up at Lysander. "If you're worried about your sister why don't you go and check up on her? There's no harm in that." She stood up and brushed off her clothes, realising she was still in Lysander's clothing and couldn't help but blush lightly.

Before there could be another word said, she took off as fast as she possibly could. He did say that he wanted a surprise, so what was more surprising than not warning someone that the ride was about to begin. As the wind began to fly past her ears, she couldn't help but giggle. There were so many times that she had wished that she had been a Sky Serpent. The rush of the wind, she could only imagine. Suddenly she dived under the water, it was for only a moment, but she took a quick glance at all the fished before rising again. 'Trout, they like to talk a lot. They're the best fish to talk to when you're down.' She told him as her head, neck and top part of her back was above the water again.

Raising his eyebrow he shook his head. "You read me like a book." Although she had noticed that she was still in his clothes, he had completely forgotten and became oblivious to why she was blushing. "Well then, let's go." Smiling, he took hold of her hand. He may be getting married, but he wasn't married yet. Let them at least enjoy that last few days together at the moments they could. With that he was off towards the lake.
