Rowan silently rose up off the cot she choosen to rest on and quickly set out to find someone who could tell her where Aria was. Meg turned the corner ahead of her moments later, "Oh! Hey Rowan." she said with a small wave. Rowan returned the wave asking her, "Hey. Have you seen Aria?" "No I haven't, but her and some others headed out northeast towards the outer feilds of the village about an hour ago. Why?" Meg answered. " Just looking for her. Thanks" Rowan shrugged and headed off to get a sling of arrow and a small bow before going out to find Aria.

Aria turned to John. "Thanks for coming with me, you know," she said, and he just nodded and grunted. ((John is a very quiet person. I think he's de-evolving into an ape. ...not sure just yet.))
She turned back to the graves. On the outskirts of the village were all of the graves she and the rest of the KQP had all dug over time. Most coffins, handmade out of scraps of wood and nails and Jess' geniusness, didn't even have bodies. Most members died in explosions and their bodies didn't exist and therefore couldn't be recovered. Daniel's was there, though. Shrapnel had shred his skin and muscles apart, and had slowly worked its way into his heart. His body had been intact when she'd watched him die.
But, no. This wasn't about Daniel. This was about saying goodbye to all these people. All of these children. Dead of starvation, of cold, of exhaustion, of bullets. People she'd saved like lambs for slaughter.
Quietly, Aria nodded briskly. It's time to say goodbye, Aria. We KQP kids have always been good at doing that.
With another nod to the graves--some filled and others not--she turned back to John. "I want to stay here for a while. If that's okay. By myself. You guys go ahead. I can defend myself," she stated, seeing the unspoken doubt in his eyes. "I can, really. Really! Go on. I'll be back soon. Promise."
Nodding slowly, he took the other children they'd brought for protection and left the handmade cemetery.

I got bored and I didn't know what to write so I just wrote that. Basically, Aria took John and a bunch of other kids for protection and went to the cemetery full of kids they'd buried over the years. Sad moments, but that's how I bridge stuff.

"Cemetery." John said flatly stepping around Rowan to get through the door. How did he? ....Whatever. Rowan thought muttering a thanks and setting off towards the makeshift cemetery they used for fallen K.Q.P. Aria came into view a few minutes later on the outskirts of the villlage where several graves dotted the land. " Ne pas tirer." Rowan said walking up behind her.

(Translation- Don't shoot.)

Aria smiled grimly, holding out empty hands palm-up. "I don't have a gun, Rowan. Dieu, je manque ces gens. Et je ne peux pas même supporter pour tirer une gâchette dans leur honneur." She stared at her hands, then turned to Rowan. "Ne vous inquiétez pas. J'ai un couteau. Je ne suis pas complètement sans défense."
The girl turned back to the most important grave she'd ever known. "Sometimes I wonder if they watch us or if that's all bull."

Translation: "God, I miss these people. And I can't even bear to pull a trigger in their honor."
"Don't worry. I have a knife. I'm not completely defenseless."

"If it is true it would be entirely creepy but incredibly sweet at the same time." Rowan said looking down at Daniel's grave."It confuses me just as much." She sighed.

I should probably tell Aria about Stephen....not yet.........not here...

(Writers block. Uhgggg!)

Aria sighed. "I just...I spend so much time wondering if he would approve of what I've done. How many people I've given up on, how many lives I've destroyed...how could he still love me after that?" she gazed at the tombstone miserably. She looked up, as if just noticing that Rowan was there. "Oh, never mind. It's...it's not important." She flashed the fakest smile she'd ever made in her life, which was saying something for certain, and offered her hand to Rowan. "Come on, let's go, huh?"

"I didn't know him well but I doubt he'd be disappointed." Rowan said taking Aria's hand and turning back towards their makeshift shelter to get the crew. " You're doing a great job, I should have been staying around a lot more than I did."  

[Kleopatra Selene]

Aria shrugged. "I shouldn't have asked you to stay. You didn't deserve that kind of responsibility. You still don't. You're so young and free, and I couldn't take that away from you if I tried. You can take the girl away from her freedom, but you can't draw the freedom out of the girl. It's just a rule." She entered the shelter, leading Rowan in. "How long do you think you'll stay?"

"I don't think I'll leave." Rowan said, "I need some stablitiy. anyway there plenty here for me to help with and keep me busy." She stated as they stepped through the doors.  

[Kleopatra Selene]

Aria smiled. "It's okay, Rowan. You say that now, but you'll leave. Everyone leaves, but that's okay. Speaking of leaving, where's the guy I knew for one day and got drunk with? Where's Jun?"
