Hi! I'm one of those pesky "new" doctor who fans. I started when Sci0fi started airing the first series and have (thanks to youtube) also seen most of the second. I managed to get my hands on a few 4th Doctor and 5th Doctor episodes.

I've been trying to spread my addiction to my friends, but so far they've just been saying "no". I think Trace is about to break though, she likes it better with 10...

Hello, all. I'm Spatterdash - 17 years old, from England.
I suppose you could call me a 'new' fan, since I only started getting into Doctor Who when they started showing the new series; I don't know nearly enough about the older stuff, although I've watched a few episodes and read some of the books. Still, I love it, and I'm always happy to get my hands on new stuff.

Hi.

I'm The Corpse.....and was Taxidermied some time ago.

JenDang (another member in this guild) is my cousin.....AND we live together! heart

Jen, my aunt Sue, and I used to watch Doctor Who back in 1988. For a while it was forgotten (what the hell was I thinking?) Yet, when I started watching it again, it came back into my soul with a vengeance.

I own a mass quantity of memorabilia.

AND more books than you can shake a stick at. Jen's boyfriend is building me a library to hold them all... exclaim

I love the new series of Doctor Who, but Classic Who is my true love. heart

I started off in the 80's as a kid, watching good ol' number 4. Then I fell off the wagon when Doctor Who was taken off local televison. When I heard that Doctor Who was back on Sci-Fi, I jumped on it.

And I don't regret the decision one bit.

I guess I would qualify as a new fan as I started watching when Sci-Fi started airing season 27, but somehow Jon Pertwee ended up as my favorite doctor. After I started watching the new series on Sci-Fi, I saw all of seasons 7-13 and I'm currently working on season 14 so I like to think of myself as a new classic fan.

'Ullo all. I'm Megzie. I've been a Dr Who fan since the start of this season.

So I've been pestering a couple of my friends who are major Whoheads (Or what ever the technical term is) about everything and anything related to the Dr.

I crocheted a Tardis a few weeks ago.

Hi!! I'm Ka Faraq Gatri (sorry Daleks if I spelt that wrong, my Doctor Who file's upstairs and I'm pretty sure that's how you spell it! biggrin ) but you can 'call me Doctor'! smile I'm over 1000 and I nicked the TARDIS when I was about...234...I think. Anyway, I like bananas, ball bearings (edible ones) and Flying through time and space in a 'faux police box' (aka the TARDIS)!! rofl

OK, now I'll be sensible. (though I'm not quite sure if I can do that!!) My name is Aimee, I'm 13 and I AM A DOCTOR WHO NUT!!!! exclaim Doctor Who is the best show ever!! (It's DOCTOR Who not DR Who!) I like bananas, Doctor Who, edible ball bearings, Doctor Who, Science (especially physics and chemistry, not too keen on biology, but it's better than our Geog lessons (zzz)), Doctor Who, saying "I am Doctor Cheese And Banana Sandwich!" (my new nickname!) and "mwe he he!" (evil giggle!) and Doctor Who!

I have been a Doctor Who nut since David started!! He was the second doctor I saw, and he had a kind of presence that made him better than Chris (sorry any Eccleston fans out there!). Then I borrowed some old videos from a friend - The Claws of Axos, (Jon) Tomb of the Cybermen (definately my favourite!), (Patrick), Shada (Tom) and Vengence on Varos (Colin).
eek
I. Love. The. Classic. Series! heart

Everything I do is Doctor who themed. this includes:-
Pencilcase;
Lunchbox;
Water bottle;
Handmade sonic screwdriver;
Nicknames;
ICT projects (namely webpages);
Even when we were playing consequences, and someone wrote 'Sally' for a girl's name, I said " You know that's the name of a Cyberman in..." but I wasn't allowed to continue, as every shouted - "We don't want to know, just finish the story"(cheek!)!!

I suppose I'd better stop now, this is starting to look rather long!!
Thank you for continuing to read this far, and if you think I am mad, then remember this - 'Everyone interesting is mad in some respect'! (seventh Doctor Quote!!)

I am a Whovian!!!

Hallo, I'm a big Doctor Who fan. At first I thought Doctor Who was something medical but I found out that it wasn't and got instantly hooked. I've seen a few of the older epsiodes but I'm not that keen on them.

Hi, I'm a 20 year old Doctor Who fan but have only really started liking it in the last few years when a tv station did repeats from the very beginning of the series of every episode to launch into the new series when it began here in Australia.

When I first saw it when I was younger (like about 5/6) it scared me witless, but now I love it, thanks to my mum who was the one who really got me into it. John Pertwee is one of my favourite Doctors, so the series with him are some of my favourites, but I also like David Tennant. Although my top 3 consist of Pertwee, William Hartnell and Tennant, I'm rather fond of Tom Baker's Doctor.

My car is nicknamed the Tardis because it looks really small on the outside but actually has quite a bit of legroom xd . That one is thanks to my mum as well.

Hello! I'm new here (both in the guild and to the world of Gaia). I only just started on Gaia yesterday, so.... Anyway. I have been a Doctor Who fan for only five months now, but I am a true fan none the less. Right now, my favorite is the nineth Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston. He is the Doctor that intregued me enough to actually sit down and watch the series.

I had seen a few episodes of the third Doctor before, shown really late at night on Maryland Public Television (or MPT as we so lovingly call it), but the ones I had seen seemed really boring to me. But the nineth Doctor was exciting and he has even inspired me to look at life a bit differently and to not be so frightened of change.

I now have Doctor Who "parties" every Friday when Sci Fi shows the new series. I love the tenth Doctor. he is good as well. And I also love the fourth Doctor. He and Romana were the best! I also love Rose. She and the Doctor make for such a fantastic pair. Well, anyway. That's pretty much it for me.

Oh! One more thing! "Who looks at a sonic screwdriver and thinks, 'ooh, this could be a little more sonic'?" I do! xd
