She laughed. "Yet I must disagree on one point...love is nothing like fire. Because love, true love, never dies." She laughed again as her bird split into three. "But then again maybe I have been reading too many romance novels." Kyo stifled a laugh "You're simple. How cute." Nimia, in her anger, joined her birds together back into one large one that perched on Kyo's head. His scalp would start burning any minute. "Are you mocking me?" she asked, extremely angry. Kyo appeared behind Nimia in a swirl of smoke " Yes. Are you trying to get revenge by messing up my perfect hair?" Nimia turned around and sent him a glare that any human would say "If looks could kill..." too. Her bird grew, and wrapped it's wings around him, keeping him from moving and hopefully burning him. Kyo laughed, his skin was engulfed with an eerie pallor. His eyes were rimmed with darkness and glowed with blood lust. The perfect teeth that complimented his face became jagged and sharp. His subtle fags extended to a spine-chilling length. "Fire cannot mar me. What an elegant power for some one so reckless and callow!"
Nimia's smirk melted off her face. Her eyes grew wide in fear. She slowly backed away, her fire-bird disappearing. |
