Theonis grabbed a napkin."If these are A and B and you'd need to get to B you'd have to travel a certain amount of time normally."He started to explain himself and folded the two opposite ends towards each other."So to make up for the time that you should have spend getting there normally, the time in your Shadow Realm is faster. That about right?"

"Yeah that's pretty much i-" Trinity felt her smart phone vibrate she checks it and saw a local news notification of a hotel employee was reported missing. She quirked an eyebrow when she read the rest of the story, it pointed out that it was at the edge of town. She clicked the address and saw the location of it. It would definately be the same direction where Shane was heading. She stroke her chin at this would this prove the reason why she has to go after him, Gidget said not to go after him but didn't say anything about detective work.

"So Theonis, up for some detective work? I may want to stop by Justine's place to see if she can help us. If you like I can show you first hand what shadow travel is like." she smiled at the thought of it.

"Sure, sound interesting. Not like I got anything else to do right now. Mind if I take this knife with me? Got some ideas I want to test out. " Theonis asked Trinity as he showed her the dining knife. It wasn't actually sharp or anything since it would normally be used for slicing bread. Surely detective work wouldn't require a knife but like he said...he had some ideas on his power he wanted to test.

"And I'll refrain from using my powers within your...Shadow Realm. I don't think either of us know what would happen if I would."
He was also wondering just how she was going to travel with him.

Trinity nodded at the butter knife she thought it was just something for him to experiment on so she didn't think much of it. She liked the fact he seemed to try to figure out new ways to use his power.

After using her smart phone to look up where Justine was staying she took his hand and said, "Hold on tight.". Her shadow overlapped his and in the next instant they fell. Then, once surrounded by darkness they flew every thing on the surface was dark and light except all that was light was dark and all that was shadow on the surface was light. "Careful looks like we're landing feet first." with that she helped him direct his feet first before they fell out of the shadow of the ceiling and landed in front of Justine's room. Granted Trinity could have simply shown up in Justine's room but she decided to be more considerate because she didn't know her well enough yet.

She knocked on Justine's door and while she waited for her to answer she asked Theonis, " So, what do you think?"

"Wha...that was....oh wow..I didn't...hmm kinda strange. Yeah..that's the word for it. Kinda strange" Theonis confessed. When he managed to collect himself, he put the knife away since he was still holding it. That really was a strange experience for him. It was also strange appealing to him.

"Still...was kinda hoping I needed to hold on tight." He said with a bit of a flirtatious joke.

Trinity recognized the flirt, she figured she can't make things too easy for him now. She smirked and shift her weight to the left away from him and placed her hand on her hip which pushed her coat back revealing her hip. "hmmm...Mr. Richards are you trying to tell me something?"

"Perhaps I am. But since we will be...detectives for now, shouldn't you be able to figure what I am trying to say without me having to say it?" Theonis replied with a smirk of his own while moving a little closer. Oh he really liked this. She didn't swoon over him as some girls at his college did once. He liked a bit of a fight.

He likes he wants to play aye? "I can figure things all I want but..." she takes a step toward him and two of her fingers walk up his chest, and said the next thing smooth and sultry,"nothing is as concrete as a..." She drew closer still almost within kissing distance, "Con-fes-sion". When she knew she had him she withdrew and knocked on Justine's door.

"Ahaha... I should have know the head of security wouldn't settle for anything less...then a confession."Theonis replied. She got him...she got him good just now. For someone who was stuttering when she asked him for breakfast, she really managed to change that personality of hers. All for the better. But he too could play this game.

This time he leaned in close and whispered in her ear.

"Well then....I'll give you your...confession later..when we are alone" With that he withdrew and waited for Justine.

Gigdet looked at her friend in confusion. "What do mean he? Who is in your head?"

"I don't know his name. Oh god Gigdet, I made a horrible mistake!" She gasped as she covered her mouth with her hands as tears started spilling over. "After I took off on that day, I was so lost and confused... And then I ran into this man, and I just... Oh god. I'm so sorry."

Gidget calls out, "Tom, give me a flare!"

In the physical realm Tom's third eye begins to glow. Usinv Gidget as a bridge he wills the existence of light into Tansy's darkness.

This time he leaned in close and whispered in her ear.

"Well then....I'll give you your...confession later..when we are alone" With that he withdrew and waited for Justine.

Shivers went down her spine, she wanted it now. She tried to restrain herself and bit her lip for a second. "Too bad if things go according to plan, you and I will be doing is trying to capture Shane later."

"We got a whole day ahead of us Trinity. I'm sure we will find time" Theonis replied softly."Unless you want a sneak preview" This was hard for him as well. Right now just want to hold her and kiss her. But from the looks of it and her reaction...so did she.

"So who is this Shane you mentioned?"Theonis asked changing the topic. He had no idea who this Shane was but linking what she said earlier about being a detective, Theonis took it that he was some kind of criminal or dangerous Meta.

((I am SO sorry guys. Real life is kicking my a** right now!! Neither myself or my husband can seem to be healthy at the same time, and the musical I'm in at the moment is going badly, and I'm prepping to direct my first show in two weeks here. My brain is fried and my body is tired from all this running around, but I'll do my best to not hold you guys up anymore then I already have!))

Justine paused for a moment as she sat upright at the first knock. She tilted her head to the side as she heard mumbling on the other side of her door. "Strange." She though aloud. At the second knock, she stood and moved to the door. Her eyes closed as she felt around the room, still unsure about the layout. She opened it, and frowned at the brightness of the hall. "Hello?" She asked as she turned towards the pair, her eyes squeezed shut.



A light shown in the darkness and Tansy's eyes widened. "Gigdet, how did you-" She cut herself, knowing that it wasn't really important how it happened. "Alright, we need to find out way out of here." She sighed softly as she stood and shook herself. Feathers falling from her malted wings.

Gidget nods and activates her internal compass, backtracking the way she came since tansy shut the door behind her earlier. As she carries Tansy she asks, "What can you tell me about Angel and the man you met thirteen years ago?"

"Not much." Tansy blushed softly. "It was after I left... that day. I was upset and confused and I found myself sitting in this alley way crying. And then I heard this voice, and I saw this pair of dress shoes. He asked me what was wrong. He had a nice face, a deep voice." She frowned. "Blue eyes with dark brown rims." She paused for a moment. "Anyways, we talked for a while. And not once did he ask me why I had wings, or what was wrong with me, he just treated me with kindess and listened. Then he explained that he could help me escape all the stress and the fear and the pain. And I wasn't in my right mind. I didn't even need to hear how, or what he was going to do, I just... agreed." She shook her head. "Anyways... The next thing is I'm here... I've found my way out a few times. And there are times he wants me to see what's happening. He's been using my appearence for his own means."
