Babi - yeah that does happen a lot, like which sports team is better and who won against who, its like as if a match has ended and everyone starts fighting at a pub drunk xd

Charlene - i have a friend that is kinda like that, she cries in the middle of a lesson unsuspectedly, i have no idea why neutral
I think your friend cries everyday is beacuse they are very unhappy, and she remembers all the bad thing going on everyday, cos of family problems. And it ends up getting her emotional and sensetive, so she cries. People might not want to comfort/talk to her is because they think she is trying to get attention from everyone and skip class or something rolleyes or they are not nice and ignore her. Its a very good thing you're there to help her, or who knows what would've happen...

anyways, i've been to her house quite a few times...and i can tell that her parents absolutely love her to death...there can't possibly be any family issues at all...and plus, everytime shes crying, i know why...and they're all really nothing to cry about... well, she thinks i'm her best friend...she told me i was her first friend in Florida...i can't just ignore her...but i'll still take Niph advice...

I feel stupid...Well...before i came to this ultra good high school..i consider myself to be smart...well...at least top of the class. Ever since i went to this school that i am now..everyone seems soo much smarter..i am flunking math...of alll classes ..MATH!!...math was suppose to be easy for me...ok..i guess that C isnt flunking..but still bad

Hey, don't get so down now. The same thing happened to me when I went to the most prestigious high school in my home state. Before I went to that high school I was near top of the class at almost every subject, even at maths which I wasn't really that good that. After I got in my results dropped signifigantly and it was really hard to get even an A, let alone an A+. It's all becayse of the intense level of competition; at a very good high school, you're competition against hundreds of people who are just as intelligent and as skilled as you are.
Now that I'm at college, the level of competition as become even more intense, as every single one of the thousands of new uni students got over a 92% average across all of their studies to get in.

Just work at it, if you don't understand something then ask for help (don't just pretend you understand.. because I know a lot of people who do that and it's silly, really) from friends/teachers.. it'll get better.

My grades went down when I joined a grammar school and they've pretty much been deteriorating over the years. You just gotta hit the books I guess.

You can't be too confident that your trend of getting better results each is year is going to continue. The final two years of matriculation are the hardest of all. When I underwent mine, I foolishly chose a lot of subjects that I was naturally quite weak in, namely maths. whee Not surprisingly, a bombed in maths in my final exams which dragged down my uni entrance score.

The bottom line is that you'll only get good results if you chose subjects that you are most good at.

eek Whoa! Hey same here! I don't consider the High School I just started in "Ultra Good" (considering it's about 50 years old and molding in a few places confused ) But there's this program for high academic students called the Challenge Program [ stare Yeah I know, that's why they're changing the name 3nodding ] But yeah in middle school I thought I was very smart and I always got straight A's and such.. Everyone else said I was smart too, then I get there I feel sooo dumb! Now in math I get Bs! And yeah Math, I thought, was suppose to be easy for me! But you know, going from grade 9 math to 10 math, is a huge change! [if that's your case] It's suppose to be harder, but apparently math 11 isn't all that hard. confused Don't let the other smart ppl intimidate you like I let them do to me, cuz they'll make you feel even more dumb.
K, but yeah My problem now blaugh Ugh k, this is about my friends... I wouldn't be so pissed if they were my close friends, but STILL! It made me mad evil *Keep in mind this has a few things to do with this girl that won't stop following me and that I and my other friends find really annoying and tend to avoid*
K, today after an annoying day of being ignored and a math mid-term, I go find those friends I tell you about and they're like "Yeah we're going to have lunch with Jada" my other friend. and That's about all they said, like they didn't even invite me or anything, so I'm like okay fine, I'll just find my other friend. I go down the hall and those friends of mine were walking infront of me looking for Jada and I'm like "Did you guys see Jessica on the way?" and they're like, "no, but yeah we're going to have lunch with Jada" again they didn't invite me, neutral so I just turn around and left, like if they're not going to, then I might as well leave before some 'pity invite' comes up from one of them! Pff! talk2hand So yeah I find jess and we walk down the hall and they're coming the opposite direction and we see our other friend tammie with them, and I was thinking, "well atleast they invited tammie!" We went outside and I guess that group took another way out! And we look and tammie wasn't there. Like omg.. she was right, RIGHT behind them! She got stuck with the annoying friend [AGAIN! it happens constantly, she's allways found!] and they went out the doors a few minutes later.. so yeah! What is with them!?! They act as if they're too good for us now.. our group of friends already split into 3 groups before coming to high school and 'my' part of the group just leaves! stressed stressed stressed
