I guess I'll wait to catch up on my Ellen shows until tomorrow since I'm already starting to feel sleepy. So I bid you good night!

Since my Mom is having some of her co-workers over for dinner tomorrow, she's going into a major cleaning spree. Of course she was teasing me when she decided to come to a quick dusting of my room ((which normally I do myself)) because she was putting things back in the wrong place. She kept teasing me by saying "Sheldon." *laughs*

Next week I'll be starting my training for my volunteering at the local animal shelter. Yay for working with a bunch of kitties!

And my friend Melissa recently informed me that her theater would be hiring for Seasonal Help soon, so I applied. She informed her Assistant GM to keep an eye out for my name. So... there's a possibility that I'll have a higher chance of getting hired for that reason. I don't mind driving a bit further to work at her theater rather than the one close to home. A job is a job. Plus it would be fun working with a friend, if our schedules worked out to make it happen.

So because of all of the hype surrounding the books and having gone to the university mentioned in it, I was curious to read the Fifty Shades of Gray just for the heck of it to see how bad it is. Thankfully I was able to find all of the books in the series available online to read. *laughs* It's a tad bit embarrassing to be saying that I'll be reading it... but at least I'll have a personal experience of how bad it would be rather than based on what reviews say.

With that being said, I may occasionally post my comments here along the way to help me earn gold during my process. *laughs*

But it'll be awhile before I get around to read them since I'm currently reading the vampire books my friend Brittany let me have - the ones that True Blood is based on. I'm enjoying them so far.

Decided to play a few Gaia games. It was fun playing some of them again... but they didn't seem to give as much gold as I remember them doing. *sighs* Oh well.

Hmm... maybe I'll go ahead and start reading the Fifty Shades of Gray series... just so that I have something to post along the way and help me earn more gold.

I'm hoping to earn some more gold, so I'll have enough to get some items off of my wishlist that I'm able to afford and could potentially own soon. :)

Kate is my roommate, and she has chosen today of all days to succumb to the flu. Therefore, she cannot attend the interview she’d arranged to do, with some mega-industrialist tycoon I’ve never heard of, for the student newspaper. So I have been volunteered. I have final exams to cram for, one essay to finish, and I’m supposed to be working this afternoon, but no – today I have to drive a hundred and sixty-five miles to downtown Seattle in order to meet the enigmatic CEO of Grey Enterprises Holdings Inc.

Having been part of the university's newspaper, I know for certain that we would never be succumbed to actually drive all the way up to Seattle for an interview with the person. We would either communicate by phone or e-mail.

Kate begs me in her rasping, sore throat voice. How does she do it? Even ill she looks gamine and gorgeous, strawberry blonde hair in place and green eyes bright, although now red-rimmed and runny.

The description of Kate here totally sounds like me. I mean seriously! Some days my hair would be considered by some as being "strawberry blonde"... and well, I have green eyes. That combination isn't as common as you would think. Hazel eyes, yeah, that would be common for folks around here. But green? No.

The roads are clear as I set off from Vancouver, WA toward Portland and the I-5. It’s early, and I don’t have to be in Seattle until two this afternoon. Fortunately, Kate’s lent me her sporty Mercedes CLK. I’m not sure Wanda, my old VW Beetle, would make the journey in time. Oh, the Merc is a fun drive, and the miles slip away as I floor the pedal to the metal.

This part confuses me so much. Why she heading down towards Portland? There's no reason to be heading south from Vancouver to go to Seattle. I'm familiar with most of the ways out of the city and you never go south.

The only thing that allows me to move on from this confusing aspect is imagining that the character went to Portland to do some other stuff before beginning her trek up to Seattle. Especially with the whole "I don't need to be there until 2" comment.

I promise I won't be commenting every few sentences... but at least you get the idea of where I'm going while I'm reading this. For most people they wouldn't bat an eye for most of these details... but for some one local, it's a big deal. Especially when the book is written by some one from England who until recently had never been in the area or on the university campus.

I’ve never been comfortable with one-on-one interviews, preferring the anonymity of a group discussion where I can sit inconspicuously at the back of the room. To be honest, I prefer my own company, reading a classic British novel, curled up in a chair in the campus library.

I know how you feel Ana. I'm the same way, especially with someone I've never met before. Though I personally avoided the university's library for personal reading. I just felt awkward sitting in there when I wasn't doing anything school oriented.

“Are you colleagues on the student paper?” Oh crap. I have nothing to do with the student paper. It’s her extra-curricular activity, not mine. My face is aflame.

Why is Ana having to do the interview for her roommate when she's not even on the newspaper team?! When I worked on the newspaper, if one person on the team wasn't able to do something for their article, we would inquire if someone else on the team could help out. It was extremely rare for someone non-newspaper related to help out.
