More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"We got a whole day ahead of us Trinity. I'm sure we will find time" Theonis replied softly."Unless you want a sneak preview" This was hard for him as well. Right now just want to hold her and kiss her. But from the looks of it and her reaction...so did she.

"So who is this Shane you mentioned?"Theonis asked changing the topic. He had no idea who this Shane was but linking what she said earlier about being a detective, Theonis took it that he was some kind of criminal or dangerous Meta.

Trinity looked at him at the mention of preview, with a serious expression that asked 'are you serious?'. She would gladly take him on his offer but her expression let go at the change of subject.

"Shane was one of the top biologists at Valhalla and I guess he still is in a sense. Thirteen years ago during all the chaos of Leviathan he was taken to the medics for his injuries but under the order of the CEO he was injected by pure concentrated meteor liquid making him a guinea pig. When he found out that Gidget's body died but lives on in a machine he had gone off the deep end. He escaped and went on a killing spree. Doing experiments on girls so that his sister could be in a human body again. It took years for Gidget to bring him in and she didn't tell me about this until yesterday...

Now Shane is on his own level of meta. His body became this sort of biomass, I believe Gidget called it. It's like this black putty that he could shape shift and morph. Gidget saw him yesterday and he sent a little piece of himself out. It attacked me and ate two metas, using the personality memories and powers of them to help him escape.

He needs sustenance for his body and nothing will cut it unless it's another life form. This is what concerns me, as long as he's out there I'm afraid the lives of innocent people, who can't see through his disguise will only fall prey.

He's traveling with four other metas Annie, a close friend to Gidget who shift liquid into other forms of liquid, the three sisters, of which we don't know their names. The oldest can manipulate memories and luck, the second seemed to crawl on the wall and have good reflexes and the youngest can sap a meta's power.

Keep in mind he is Gidget's brother so we would have to bring him back alive. That's all I know about him right now.

I have a strong hunch that he was the cause of the missing hotel employee that happens to be on the path that Shane would be heading."

"If you're following someone by amissing person's report, then you better hurry. Trails like that are often cold if you wait to long. Escpically since a missing persons can't be filed until after the first 24 hours." Justine paused as she glanced between the two. "Sorry. I assumed that had to do with the reason you knocked on my door... or... is there something else I can help you with?" She seemed confused really as she shifted her weight onto her other leg, still standing in her doorway, listening to the two of them.

"I'm pretty sure that is the reason. I take it you must be Justine? I'm Theonis. Good to meet you." Theonis said as he introduced himself.
Her eyes were closed the whole time. Perhaps something to do with her powers? Or she's just blind.

"Not much." Tansy blushed softly. "It was after I left... that day. I was upset and confused and I found myself sitting in this alley way crying. And then I heard this voice, and I saw this pair of dress shoes. He asked me what was wrong. He had a nice face, a deep voice." She frowned. "Blue eyes with dark brown rims." She paused for a moment. "Anyways, we talked for a while. And not once did he ask me why I had wings, or what was wrong with me, he just treated me with kindess and listened. Then he explained that he could help me escape all the stress and the fear and the pain. And I wasn't in my right mind. I didn't even need to hear how, or what he was going to do, I just... agreed." She shook her head. "Anyways... The next thing is I'm here... I've found my way out a few times. And there are times he wants me to see what's happening. He's been using my appearence for his own means."

Gidget is beside herself with anger, a sesnation that has bee na stranger for over a decade. She knows that Charles Ray doesn't possess that sort of power, and that even if he did he'd think twice before screwing with any of her friends. The mere thought that someone is manipulting Tansy, who has never hurt anyone, causes Gidget's blood to boil.

She looks over at Tansy with a deadly determination in her eyes. "Take me to him. If he is in here, he will be purged. Tom can break any hold he has on you."

"That and I was thinking your heightened senses may help confirm my suspicion.

I know the quickest way to get to the scene of the crime is to Shadow Travel, but you didn't seem to like that the last time, when I brought you and Gidget here. Luckily there are security vehicles available for such an occasion. I fear that the person is not missing but consumed by Shane. I really want to prevent more human casualties as possible but, Gidget seems to rely too much on Annie to take control of the situation. If I can prove that I can go after him and hopefully bring him back here.

Do you think you can help?"

Tansy frowned. She'd never seen Gigdet with this kind of fire I. Her eyes. "I'm not sure if he's really here. I think that's the purpose of Angel. I don't know if she's another meta, or something he's created to keep me locked in here." She sighed. "I really wish I could help you more, but I'm so weak from keeping myself here... This is the only place I'm safe. Neither him or Angel can stand to wander around in the darkness... And after that fight with Mr. Ray, the darkness doesn't bother me much anymore. In fact... It's kind of comforting." She blushed softly.

Justine paused for a moment. "I don't know how much help I can be. My new eyes don't activate until this evening. But after that I don't mind helping in any way that I can."

"Comforting or not, you aren't going to stay here a moment longer. Not if I have anything to say about it. Look, the door is just ahead. Once we're out, Tom and I will free you from Angel."

She bites her bottom lip, as though she is having to force what she is about to say next. "Then you and Ako can be together."

The pieces fell together.

"Before I go anywhere to fight some dangerous dude lemme get some things straight....This Shane fella ...was he the one who caused the chaos in here? On top of that he is highly dangerous. Took many years to capture him when he was alone and you want to capture him?. Now that Annie is with him, we could take him by surprise but that might not work." Theonis said mostly to himself then to the others. His mind was racing to come up with a strategy.

"Alright I'm game. Don't want to underestimate your ability for tactics but we need a good plan if we were to encounter him. So I need to know some things. Justine...I heard your ability heightened your senses. Mine are too but if that is your sole power then it should be way higher then mine. You could detect him and his company if he has them right?" He spoke up to the two women.

"Trinity can you hold someone captive in your Realm? Or do you need to be with that person in order to make that happen? If you don't have to be you should be able to drop him in his own shadow and bam we go him. Sorry for asking all these things but I need to know."

Tansy's face flushed red. "Wh-what are you talking about?" She shook her head slightly and frowned. "It's not like that. I-I mean... He doesn't think of me like that. So there's no point." She laughed nervousily before she looked at the door. "Don't trust anything she says." The angel frowned. "She knows a lot about my past. But I was able to block her out of some of my more recent memoires. I don't know what she was looking around in there for, maybe just to make herself seem more real."

Kerana shrugged and felt uncertain, did it seem shallow of her to want to see a movie after her friend pass? She did merely thought of it as an escape, a way to get her mind off of things. She looked over to Deora and said, "I dunno, do you have any ideas for what to do today?"

"Well, I was planning to go try out the gym, and maybe get some proper practice. I've eaten well in the past two days, and I'd kinda like to try and get some muscle back." Deora said. While she looked as though she was in good shape, she'd lost some muscle from going hunger in the streets. "You could come with me, if you want, maybe it would be a better way to take your mind off things."

Tansy's face flushed red. "Wh-what are you talking about?" She shook her head slightly and frowned. "It's not like that. I-I mean... He doesn't think of me like that. So there's no point." She laughed nervousily before she looked at the door. "Don't trust anything she says." The angel frowned. "She knows a lot about my past. But I was able to block her out of some of my more recent memoires. I don't know what she was looking around in there for, maybe just to make herself seem more real."

Gidget shakes her head. "You just can't see it the way I do. How he looks at you I mean. He was happy to see everyone yesterday, but not nearly as happy as he was when he laid eyes on you."

"I used to be jealous of you y'know? When I was still a kid. But niw, I can see that you two were meant to be together."

Gidget approaches the door and takes a deep breath. She isn't quite sure what to expect. A fight, an argument, or maybe a twist she isn't expecting. The one thing she does know, however, is that failure is not an option.

With one long exhale she opens the door.

Justine paused for a moment. "I don't know how much help I can be. My new eyes don't activate until this evening. But after that I don't mind helping in any way that I can."

"I thought you didn't need your eyes to use your heightened senses. I was thinking they may be useful at the scene of the crime. Am I mistaken in thinking this?"

She listened to Theonis response and liked his enthusiasm. "Theonis I appreciate your enthusiasm but we need to know first if we can go after him. Either way after we go there get the proof we're looking for and hopefully Gidget's word to go after him we'll start planning. Heck we could start planning even if Gidget says no knowing that it will highly likely come down to it."

"Just want to be prepared in case we do encounter him. Better safe then sorry right? You sure he's with those four? Cause I don't like surprises. Well not the bad ones. " Theonis responded. Funny how his mind was already thinking of new applications for both his power and Trinity's.

"I don't." She sighed softly, her headache coming back around. "But I doubt I should be running around until after we're sure my body won't reject them." She shrugged. "... But if you need me, I guess I will tag along. What exactly do you need from me?"
