Courtyard (North)

Hiro nodded as she spoke, then smiled apologetically. "Well, sorry for that," he murmured. "I'll hurry it up then." His wings spread suddenly from his back, large, black, and leathery with a small hooked claw on the top of each. They were taller than him by about a foot, so they were about seven feet in height. He stepped towards her again, and slowly scooped her into his arms, bridal style, with one arm under her legs at her knees and the other around her back. He was so used to doing this with Yuki, that he wasn't he least bit embarassed. He held her firmly but gently and glanced down at her for just a moment longer before suddenly pushing off from the ground. His wings spread wide, flapping once to bring them slightly higher. He went slow though, not wishing to scare her more than necessary, and soon paused just hovering in the sky. He was perfectly content with doing this. He'd simply wanted to get off the ground.

Alyssa frowned slightly as Hiro seemed slightly upset from what she had said. She had never meant it to hurt his feelings but the anxiety was growing rapidly and she felt as if her entire breakfast was going to greet her again if he hadn't hurried up. "I didn't mean it badly Hiro.." she whispered self-conciously, gazing at the earth then back to him with sorrowful eyes.

She was taken aback by his sudden actions taken after she had commented about him taking so long. Before she knew what had hit her, Alyssa was in his arms and floating in the air. She shrieked some and wrapped her arms around Hiro's neck instinctly, and burried her head into his shoulder; Alyssa was in serious jepardy of making Hiro drop her, but she was too freaked out to do anything else. "Oh God..." she murmured quietly, peeking out at the ground below her.

Hiro shook his head, smiling at her. "I know you didn't. It's alright." He was slightly taken aback by the sudden look in her eyes, but tried not to show it.

Hiro only tightened his hold around her, and laughed quietly. "It's alright, I've got you," he murmured softly. "Just... tell me when you want to head back down and I'll take you immediately." He prepared himself to for the demand to bet set down right then, ready to obey instantly. He didn't know her as well, so he felt a bit more guilty than when he did this to Yuki. He made himself feel even more gulity at the thought though. He shifted her very slightly to a more secure position, hoping to let her know there was no way he'd let her fall.

Alyssa gulped again and let her grip around Hiro's neck ease some so she could get a better veiw of where they were hovering. It wasn't as bad as Alyssa had assumed before they had lift off. She gazed about the scenery of Ria and sighed contently; it wasn't half bad up here.

His voice soothed Alyssa's anxiety more than expected, and she smiled softly at his words. She didn't want him to put her down right now for some reason. This had been the first contact they've had betwen one another since they shook hands back in Meghan's dorm room; it was nice.

"Could we...go...higher?" Alyssa asked in a small voice, still clinging to Hiro's neck as if her life depended on it. She had a feeling he thought she wanted down, and although that may have been somewhat true, Alyssa secretly was desperate to get over her fear of heights. If this were the only way then fine; ALyssa would do it.

Hiro felt her grip lessen slightly and hoped it was because she felt a bit more at ease. This seemed to be true as she sighed and began looking around. He couldn't help smiling as she did, glad she was becoming at least a little more comfortable up here where he loved to be. He liked the sky as much as he liked the dark.

He blinked in a short surprise as she asked to go higher and tilted his head slightly again. But he recalled her words about his taking too long making her more nervous and nodded. "Alright, hang on..." he murmured again, holding her a bit more firmly. His giant wings flapped once, but gently so they went up at a slow pace, almost like that ride he'd gone on. It lifted him slowly to the top and then dropped him suddenly, but he decided they would skip the dropping part for now. "Everything alright?" he asked softly as they came to a slow halt to simply hover in place again.

Alyssa bit her lower lip and turned her head toward Hiro a soft smile across her painted lips. "Yes..everything is fine." she replied with the same softness; just above a whisper. Her grip grew tighter again, and it pulled her closer to Hiro; she was hitting on him. (xD) Sometimes, Alyssa did this without noticing and this was one of those times. SHe was actually freaking out inwardly because they were so high, but her mind was going behind Alyssa's back.

The wind was more vicious at the altitude they were at, and it caused Alyssa's hair to fly wildly in every direction. SHe growled deep in her throat as a large chunk hit her smack in the face. "stupid hair..," she grumbled agigtated. Silently, she removed the strands and returned to gazing at Hiro; Alyssa stayed quiet and said nothing more at that time.

Hiro nodded as Alyssa spoke, but frowned slightly as her grip tightened, thinking she really was still nervous and was just trying to put up the front that she was fine. In response, his hold tightened slightly around her as well, wanting to make her feel safe.

He couldn't help chuckling lightly as her hair blew around, knowing his was as well. It was shorter and, at most, went into his eyes, hiding them for a few seconds at a time. He made no move to fix it though, knowing it wouldn't last long, and also not wanting to risk letting go of Alyssa for any amount of time.

He tilted his head slightly as she gazed at him and stared back, waiting for her to say something. When she didn't, a sudden thought popped into his head. He smirked suddenly and leaned forwards, his lips brushing faintly against hers for a second before he pulled back. "Was that... a good enough immitation?" he asked softly, watching her for a reaction.

Alyssa's eyes grew wide as she felt his lips against hers for only a moment; that was so unfair to her. "I can immitate you better than myself," she joked, laughing at her poor joke she just told; Alyssa wasn't even sure if it was a real joke or not. She had to admit it was very tempting, and the fact of where they were, and how sudden that imitation was made the temptation for Alyssa even worse than it normally would.

"I think that wasn't too bad of an immitation Hiro." Alyssa admitted quietly, her eyes returning to their normal size even possibly a bit larger. The smile on her face turned to a mischevous smirk, "I think you can do better though." Alyssa taunted, getting right infront of his face. "Much better."

Hiro grinned as he saw Alyssa's eyes widen, and he chuckled softly as she replied. "Oh...?" he murmured, raising his eyesbrows slightly in a rather teasing way. His wings flapped gently behind him to keep them from falling back down and he tilted his head slightly, watching her again. He saw her eyes shrink back down a bit and laughed. "Not too bad?" he echoed. "So it wasn't good then?" he laughed quietly, then paused at her next words. "Oh really?" he grinned. "Because I've honestly never truely kissed someone before," he admitted with a shrug, not at all embarassed to say this.

"I've been the first for a lot fo guys now that I think of it..." Alyssa reminised in all the times where a guy admitted his virginity to her, and she obliged by kissing them; sometimes it went farther than necessary, but Alyssa didn't feel like thinking about that right now. "It's surprising how many guys I've met that have never kissed..and can kiss quite well." Alyssa was reassuring him; she was, in a way, hinting him to kiss her.

It was on a rare occassion that someone made the first move when it came to her; if Alyssa liked somone she would let them know. She had a feeling Hiro knew this, but she did not feel like making the first move; she wanted to see how Hiro would react to it.

[Ethan Barrows]

Biaksu walked silently through the courtyard, freezing single flowers as he went only to create light refractions. He sat under a tree and stared out at the lawn, the ice flowers shining out rainbows of light creating designs on his body. He froze the tree behind him and created a small light show for himself on the green grass.

Biaksu had forgotten what it was like to let his powers speak for themselves. He had shunned his powers for being the object of hate in many people's eyes. Then he remembered all his suffering. "STUPID ICE!" He shattered the tree and flowers and stood silently in the center of the chaos. "I hate it all..."

Hiro laughed aloud at her words. "Really? That's true, is it?" he asked with another chuckle, shaking his head. "Well, lets test it with me, shall we?" he asked with a small smirk. Making sure first to keep them afloat in the air, wings flapping in a regular rhythm, he slowly leaned forwards towards her, his eyes closing as he did. His lips met hers and didn't pull away instantly this time. Instead they stayed, pressed rather firmly. He didn't really know what he was doing, but that didn't stop him from trying. He rethought her words again, laughing mentally as he smirked faintly against her lips, unable to stop himself.

Alyssa laughed along with him but was cut short when she felt Hiro's lips against hers. Her eyes were still opened when the abrupt meeting came, but they quickly shurt after she realized he wasn't going to pull away anytime soon.

She chuckled into the kiss and realized how much of an amateur he really was. Alyssa pulled back slightly; however, not breaking the kiss to add some variety. She could feel her lip ring press against her skin causing shivers to be sent down her spin; the stupid metal was freezing cold. Slowly, her arms wrapped around Hiro's neck as they continued to kiss.

OOC:Nyaah...when it's getting good I have to leave..I'll be back in a few hours! Byebye!!  

[Sexy Suki]

Suki eyes widen at what she saw dropping her arms off yuki's. Her lip quivered rubbing her shoulders. Tears began to from on her eyes, ehr body shaken. Suki then fell down on the floor her leg starting to bleed.

Yuki jumped in alarm as Suki rushed her and grabbed her hands before crying out something. Her face flushed scarlet and when she next looked around, she found herself in the northern courtyard. Quickly, Yuki staggered back away from Suki, staring in shock. The first thing she noticed was a male standing surrounded by fragments of shattered ice. She blinked at him in surprise, her own icy blue eyes widened. Is he an ice user too? she thought to herself in confusion. She didn't even think to look up.

Yuki blinked in surprise when she heard Suki fall to the ground. "Wh-what are you doing?" she stammered, seeing the blood. "Did you injure yourself?" Yuki had no idea how she could have managed, but there it was, blood running from her leg. Yuki froze in place, not knowing what to do. She still hadn't looked up, so she didn't know why Suki was crying, and assumed it was because she was hurting.

Hiro heard her chuckle and suddenly felt self conscious. He felt her begin to pull back, and began to do so himself until he realized she didn't move all the way. He suddenly took note of her lip ring and shivered very slightly, at first not realizing what it was. As her arms wrapped around his neck, he held her a little more tightly as well, partly to make sure he wouldn't drop her to the ground below as he remained hovering in place. He didn't take note of anything that was going on around him.
