ENDLESS JOURNEYS (O/A)

Trinity was at a bar called "Fire and Ice". She decided one of their wine specialties called a "fire blossom" it was based on a dragon fruit.

She rubbed her throat, not because she was thirsty but because something was missing. Her chocker, it was a gift from a man she had admired long ago. That gift became more than that, it was also something that helped her use her holy magic without the goddess within coming out. It was taken from her in their last fight. Now the power she needs to use to save the land can't be used at all. Another significant role this choker had was not only to control the amount of power but it kept her power separated from the goddess', unfortunately she was not aware of this role.

The importance of the chocker's capabilities was not on her mind. What was on his mind was the man that gave that to her. But she knew she would never see him again. No thanks to this prophecy he died as well as many others. Died because of the one who was trying to prevent the prophecy killed them in the prophecy.

Keleth had been following Trinity since the brawl at the arena. She had been darting behind walls, barrels, and other dragon-kin to make sure that she wasn't spotted. When Trinity finally took her seat at the bar and started drinking, Keleth knew that it was her chance.

The amber scaled dragon kin was diminutive in comparison to some of the other females, but she made up for it with lots of lean muscle from working her family's fields. Her auburn hair was cropped at chin level and feathered from the heat. She wore just enough tight cloth and wrappings to cover her sensitive bits, cuts, and callouses.

She silently hovered over to Trinity, her eyes peeking just above the bar top, and grinned slyly. A manic chuckle escaped her throat. "hehehehe."

"I know who you are." she squeaked. "I think you're amaaaazing."

There was a momentary pause before she muttered, "You're shorter than I thought you'd be."

Trinity's eyes widen as she was discovered. At first she suspected her to be a bounty hunter. But then her admiration indicated otherwise, a fan? "I got an open seat next to me. What can I get yah?"

Goruk nod his head "Thankyou. Glad to be apart of something so fun." he laughed lightly before saying "Good fight Alec." holding a thumbs up.

Trinity's eyes widen as she was discovered. At first she suspected her to be a bounty hunter. But then her admiration indicated otherwise, a fan? "I got an open seat next to me. What can I get yah?"

Keleth slid up onto the seat Trinity offered and placed her hands on Trinity's lap.

"You can get me out of here." she plead.

"Y'see I'm really really bored here you'd think I wouldn't be because of the arena and stuff but I am because it's the same old fights over and over again with the arguments and the proposals and ugh it's just getting to be the same thing over and over again you can imagine how boring that'd be right of course you would you're THE Trinity you eat danger for breakfast but you have different sorts of breakfast all the time while I'm stuck eating the same bacon over and over again sure it's good at first and you probably think I'm crazy for saying I don't like bacon but I do I just don't want the same bacon all the time-"

She stopped rambling and began to inhale sharply to give her fuel for another tirade of words.

Nova and Lexi had a short chat before moving over to Alec. He and his wife understood each other. Not many words were needed. Nova seemed...content, happy even. Lexi seemed like she was just as mad as before when she looked around. Nova knew why his wife seemed angry again and quickly walked up to Goruk before his wife got a hold of him.

"Just so you know Goruk...that lady over there who gave you the bracelet cannot give another man a gift for as long as you do not give her anything in return. She laid a claim to your heart and you accepted. Giving it back is impossible so I suggest you give her something in return to seal the deal. You can give her a child when you are married. After all..that is what she is after. Strong blood. Even Lexi here." Nova said and regretted as he got an elbow in the side.

Trinity couldn't help but find the girl's enthusiasm baffling. It has been a while since she last heard someone speak highly of her. Not only that but to travel as part of her company?! Before she spoke another word she placed her finger on her lips. "I'll see what I can do about your request but first, what is your name? Second, what have you heard of me? And third where did you learn it from?"

She wondered why this young dragon-kin seemed so interested in joining her and her journey. Most of what people heard was that , 'She is a terrible titan that would destroy cities in her path.' Not about all the good she did as captain of Saturn's royal guards.

Granted, she could very well be buttering up any traveler to simply leave this place. But something told her this was not the case. Would she be ready to face what they will be up against? It seemed as far as magic goes this race had good defenses against magic, but what of her combat skills?

[Goruk Devon]

Goruk thought about this before saying "I should give her a child...I may yet die when we leave this place and in my place another dragon shall take my place." he walked up to the girl before saying "You shall be my mate." he smiled before saying something im sure she would love to here in her ear as a whisper "You will be the mother of the new age of dragon." a small smile came over his face, a warm one, as he was even now excited about having a child of his own if that is what she truly wanted.

The girl was in fact happy but did appear pissed after his words. Gone was that shy girl who gave him the bracelet She took a deep breath, puffing up her chest a bit. Lexi couldn't help but smile a bit at her. The girl poked Goruk's chest." Listen up, you can say that but until you actually gift me something all that talk is just air to me! I'm not some incubator for your spawn. So you either give me something back or return what I gave if you don't have the balls to go through with it!" Oh the girl had a fierce fire inside of her like all of their women do.

"This is one of the reasons why not many outsiders come or are welcome here.They instantly judge us for our ways." Lexi had her arms on her side,still looking as angry as before." I personally think enslaving someone is something to be sick about!" She said almost with a snarl.

Nova stepped away from the almost wed couple and went back to Lexi. Sometimes it felt that all that he was doing was damage control.

"No need for that Lexi." He told her. Before turning back to Kerena." Sorry, they all got quite the temper.Things are different here. If you meet someone strong you claim them before someone else does. I'll give you a full explanation during dinner alright? Oh and Alec..."He turned to the boy." Don't accept any gifts"

"That's up to him to decide don't you think?" Lexi glared at him.

"Trying to prevent what happened to me."Nova said before regretting it.

"Oh?! So you are unhappy with it? You'd rather cancel the entire deal? Fine! I'll go the counsel right away!" Lexi spat and stomped off.

Nova sigh and his shoulder slumped. "She isn't going to do any of that. You see what I'm dealing with here? I love her with all my heart but I fear she will be the death of me before the curse takes it's hold." He laughed." Anyway...as you already guessed...that was my wife Lexi. I think she left Ruby at home. You two wanna come with? I'd like to you to meet my daughter."

Nova laughed softly.

"She's always been like this. She is not the type that is honest with herself. Sometimes she doesn't know how to express herself and it comes off as something like that. But then she can't stop because it would make her look like a fool. Too much pride in her."

"I believe Trinity has entered the city."

Alec still didn't quite know what to make of Goruk. The "dragon-kin" reminded him a bit too much of his family, but Alec didn't want to judge him based solely on that.

Although he hadn't been approached yet, Alec had remembered Nova's warning about accepting gifts in the city. He would be sure to keep his mind sharp and not just accept something because it was the polite thing to do.

When Kerana showed hesitation about going to Nova's house, he reached over and grasped her hand gently. He looked down at her and smiled, letting her know he'd be with her without saying a word.
