Courtyard (South)

[Keji Nosigawa]

"Nice to meet you, Rayven." he said, as he shook her outstretched hand, and then released it, looking to Kana "We never did get to go for that walk, did we?" he then said, a small smile apearing on his face.

Kana's eyes flicked back towards Mead as he finished his introductions with Rayven and smiled. She blinked at his words, eyes widening in surprise. "Eh? Y-you're right! We never did!" she cried, springing to her feet. "Well, do you want to go for it now then?" She grinned and looked around, then stopped in front of Rayven. Kana bowed low to her, smiling apologetically. "I'm sorry," she murmured. "Hopefully we'll see you later?"

Then she bounced back to stand before Mead, waiting for him to stand as well. Her eyes shone with excitement as her tail flicked happily behind her. "Alright, are you ready?" she urged.

Mead let out a small laugh when he heard her reaction, and then said, "Ya, we might as well go for it now." he said, as he then got up and looked to rayven "Sorry, but we will see you later." and then he said right after that "Yes." and he pulled the folded up map out of his pocket and showed Kana the map and said "Where to?"

Kana grinned, tilting her head as he laughed, but having a fair idea he was laughing at her. Her cheeks flushed faintly red but she didn't otherwise react. She stared around at their surroundsings for a moment, then suddenly realized he had a map. "Oh!" she cried, then she pounced to his side, staring at the map curiously. She never was one for sucessful nagvagation. "Um, anywhere?" she offered with a shrug, still smiling and tail still flicking excitedly behind her. She backed away to give him more space, not wanting to bother him.

"OK, just a second." he said, as he knelt down to the ground, placed the map on the ground, hoped that there wouldn't be a strong enough wind for a few seconds to blow the map away, and he closed his eyes, and raised his hand, and then shot his index finger right down, and felt nothing but dirt and grass, so he opened his eyes, and noticed that the wind had blown his map away, and so he got up, and said, "Oh well." and started looking for the map.

Kana watched curiously as he set the map on the ground, wondering what he was doing. She crouched beside it, gazing at the paper for a moment before glancing up at Mead again. Her eyes followed him as he closed his eyes and then slammed his finger downwards. Then she blinked in confusion as he hit the grass. "Was that... supposed to happen?" she blinked, tilting her head. Then she realized he'd been trying to hit the map. "Oh!" she exclaimed with a laugh. "I get it! I'm sorry though... I should have been watching to make sure it didn't blow away..." She jumped back to her feet and tried looking around for it as well.

"It's ok, its not your fault." Mead said as he looked frantically for it, as he saw a paper that resembled it, flying through the air towards what was marked as the Library. "There it is!" He said as he ran to it, and he noticed that it was just a piece of paper "...Or not." he said, as he picked it up anyways, and continued looking around, surprised at his luck that the wind had to blow enough to blow the paper away, in such a small time.

Kana looked up as he caught sight of it, then smiled softly as it wasn't the right paper. She tilted her head, speaking more quietly than normal. "You know, we can always just go get another one, or simply explore on our own... Who needs a map, anyways?" she added with a laugh, ears twitching. She looked around curiously, gazing at their surroundings. She didn't know what any of the buldings in sight were, other than the boy's dorm, and that was only because she'd watched him go towards it last night. She didn't even know where the girl's dorm was!

"That works." He said, as he just moved back to where she was, and then asked her "Which direction then?" he didn't want to have to make all the decisions, so he allowed her to make this one, on which way to go.  

[Krazy Kaori]

Kana nodded happily and then blinked as he told her to choose. "Me?" she asked in surprise, and then slowly began looking around. "Um, ok..." She tilted her head as her eyes fell upon a strange building with glass walls. She'd seen them around but had never actually been inside one. She turned grinned back towards Mead. "What about the greenhouse?" she asked, tilting her head still. "Ah, unless you don't want to?" she added suddenly, afraid he wouldn't like it there.  

[Keji Nosigawa]

"The greenhouse?" he then questioned, "Sure, lets go there, maybe I can find something I need there." he didn't even think about what he had said, and hoped he wouldn't have to explain that, he then looked at the sun, measuring the approximate time.  

[Krazy Kaori]

Kana nodded, tilting her head at his words curiously. But she decided not to question it, remembering how the last time she'd pried had led to such downcast feelings from both of them. She sighed quietly and then perked up again, eyes shining with excitement. "Alright!" she cried happily and turned to face the greenhouse, pointing a clawed finger towards it. "Let's go!" With that, she began bounding towards it, jumping or spinning in a hyper circle every now and then.

[Kumizu]

Kumizu walked through the courtyard, exploring the grounds. So far he hadn't seen anyone outside, and when he starting walking over to these two, they ran off. Damnit. Just my luck. He sighed and sat down on a bench, not sure what to do.

After a moment or two, he stood again. "No sense in wallowing." He turned and headed after the two.

Donovan knew that she had the makings to be quite brilliant, although things didn't seem that way. Cadence may have looked blonde, it being a state of mind rather than a hair color, but she really wasn't. It was interesting talking to her, and she would make a great ally.

He took careful note of how she acted, the sniffing and the paranoia, "Are you doing much later Cadence, or now for that matter. I would like to continue to explore this place, and having company would be nice."

Candence took a deep, quvering breath and nodded still with a happy expression though she was continuously on alert now. Her ears were drawn backward slightly and her tail was flailing about dangerously as if able to lash out with an attack; Candence was freaked by this guy but didn't want to ruin her chances at being his friend.

"Oh why sure! That would be oodles of fun!" Candence squeaked joyously, clapping her hands together estatically happy to be able to go explore. Her crystal pools for eyes wandered about her surroundings for Sereniti whom looked to have disappeared as Candence began speaking with Donovan. "Oh! I have to find Sereniti first!!" exclaimed Cadence placing a hand over her brow to keep the sun out of her eyes; she looked like a sailor looking for some land. Where is she...? she wondered not able to see her anywhere close by.
