Tu Garrison Home of the newly created Chengdu SFU 2nd Expeditionary Battalion at the Tu Garrison. Stationed at this base is a single Ground Special Forces Battalion of approximately twelve thousand men for combat, support and logistics that keeps the Battalion running. The base itself is located eighty miles north of a small city which will be referred to as Tu City which houses a population of less than 600 natives, none of which are allowed on the Tu Garrison grounds.
Static Defenses The main gate of the fortification faces east and is the longest section of a pentagonal wall extending in roughly a twelve mile radius. The perimeter wall is eight feet of concrete at its lowest and forty feet at its highest, where it is dun into a descending slope on the south side which drops into a shallowly flooded gully. Four sandbag reinforced towers stand at the east wall with another two at each other wall with equal spacing between them. Barbed wire lines outside and top of every wall and tower and all three access points may be sealed at any time from the command center or individually at each entrance guard post. A second perimeter composed of steel fencing acts as a buffer behind the guard towers and shacks.
Terrain The Tu Garrison sits on wild growing grassland which had been a forest which was cleared long before the expeditionary force had shown up.The south side of the base slopes down immediately outside the wall. The slope ends into a shallowly flooded gully before making an incline up a smaller sister hill. The hill that helps make up the south perimeter has also been somewhat dug out within the walls.
Base Layout The command center is located under the hollowed out part of the hill at the south perimeter. The third access point to the base is also located here. The path behind it leads down through the into the gully where it emerges from a hidden entrance. During times of emergency, waste from the base may also be channeled through a parallel sewage drain. Going out from the command center to the east gate are the armory, barracks, mess halls, infirmaries and ops areas for each company. The north sections house the motor pools and artillery stations while the southern ends are for helicopter purposes. Dirt roads run through the base and continue towards the town out the east gate.
Logistics The base is supplied via airdrop or helicopter directly from China. Without the supplies, the base can last a year regularly and a little longer during times of ration. This includes food, fuel, weapons, spare parts, ammo, medical supplies and other essentials.
