Hello commander :] fancy meeting you here.

However, I disagree with your views. I could say I don't care about the Iraq war, because It has nothing to do with me. I have no family members dying in the middle east. But I DO care, because there are brave men and women putting their lives in danger. I care for abortion cause we are removing people from this world, not even giving them a chance! What if one of the aborted babies could have been a leading politician, general, diplomat, ect.? They have no say, and so we shouldn't just decide that they shouldn't even get a chance at life. This has nothing to do with the bible or any other scripture, this has to do with human lives.

P.S. 70% of Americans have some kind of christian beliefs. I'm sure much less actually read the bible regularly, so therefore the bible can't influence 90% of the population, it's probably around the 40% mark or something along those lines.
Hello smile well I am talking about choices people making not affecting you, and abortion is one of those things... also aborted babies could also be mass murders, rapists, etc. they could also be just everyday people.... but the fact is they don't exist now (the ones that have been aborted) so there is no way of telling who they would/could have been. And really it doesnt matter, there are pros and cons to abortion, plain and simple I dont see it as my job to police what others do to their own body. The baby/fetus/embryo is part of the mother's body until it leaves, it is then her decision weather to have the kid, or abort it; she can have it and love it, or she can abort it and deal with the possible mental pain/trauma, it is her choice. One good example: My mother had an abortion (i believe it was first trimester, so embryonic stage) her choice was: have the kid and be in a wheel chair for life, or don't and try later when her body can deal with it.
And the fact that you do not base it off of religion means on this topic you are part of that 10%.(and I said religion I did not specify which one; I know many people that follow a religion with out reading its text, I said that that was what the institution was based off of, not that the scripture was the basis of arguments)

I believe abortion is murder. That being said if the mother is going to die at child birth the I say let her choose. Her life or her baby's.

And why should that prevent them from having the option?

Because the Declaration of Independence ensures right to "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Abortion is not a basic right, but the baby has a right to life.
