here are four riddles a friend came up with and wanted to see who all can get the answer

Entertained by two who clowned
Each King there had servants, ten
Though none of them were also men
The lowest servant sometimes might
Defeat the King in a fair fight
A weapon stout, a princeless jewel,
The beat of life, and a farmer's tool

I'm silent and invisible
But everyone knows i'm there
I'm here a second, then I'm gone
Monsters under beds, beware
What am I?

You can see me in darkness
But not in light
I am present in daytime
But absent at night
In the deepest of shadows
I abide in plain sight
